About this house rental

Located at the 4MM of the Osage arm in Jackson Branch Cove. We face east and have a fabulous view of the main channel as well as the cove.

6 bedroom/3 bath sleeps 16. To help with sleeping arrangements, here are layouts and bedroom sizes for each area:

Kitchen with 3/4 bath (shower/bathtub)

Bedroom- 10' X 7' with full bed (no window in this room)
Master Bed- 13' X 13' with king bed with en-suite master bath with double sink.

Bedroom-12' X 10' with full mattress.
Bedroom-12' X 12' with queen mattress. There is an additional 14X6 room attached where we have two twin beds. There is a window in this room which is great as a family room with children.

Bathroom-This is a seasonal half bathroom. It is winterized from Nov. 1-April 1 and is not usable during those time frames.

We have a large, covered private 4 well dock for you to swim and fish. We have added an enclosed bar/tv area with a TV/Roku streaming. You are allowed 1 boat slip that is 24-ft long, 10-ft wide, to use during your stay. If you need another slip as well please contact us to discuss. There is a swim ladder and we have added a Dock Lifeguard device which should detect electric current in the water within 40-ft of our dock. Kayaks are also available for guest use! Our cove is over a mile long and about 1/4 mile wide.

Lots of Christmas trees have been placed over the past 20 years around the dock for fish structure. The result is excellent year round fishing! We consistently catch crappie, catfish, bass, and stripers. There are also several fishing chairs that we have placed around the dock for your convenience. The water is 22-ft deep at the dock during summer months.

We provide board games, cards, propane for the gas grill. For those with children, there is a pack and play, high chair, and baby gate inside the house. Our decks are set up so that you can close off most entrances with gates and contain small children. We have no street traffic to worry about and our lot is very shaded with large, mature trees.

We are in a quiet area as most of our neighbors are here on the weekends only. Our entire area is heavily wooded. If you want the hustle and bustle, you will have to drive to Osage Beach.

We have also made a three car off road parking area and we have 2 spots available on the road. This allows for us to have parking for 5 vehicles or a 3 vehicles and a trailer.

We gladly encourage you to bring along your four legged friends as we do allow pets (up to 3). Due to increased cleaning costs and added wear on the property, we do charge an additional nightly fee of $20/night/pet with a max of $100/pet. Because VRBO doesn't allow flexibility in pricing and we know that plans can change, this fee is charged two days prior to your stay and is NOT included in the original booking amount. We just like to be as transparent as possible with this fee ahead of time.

We had fun with the family and swam a lot in the lake. They house was large enough for the whole family, but some of the bedrooms were closets. There were the bare essentials: coffee makers didn't work, not enough silverware for 16 people, and kitchen cupboards needed some major repair. The dock also was in need of repair: no water in fish cleaning station, one TV and the refrigerator didn't work and several lights were out. The biggest issues were on our second day the oven door handle came off and the left side of the door came apart. The manager had some one come and we were only temporarily inconvenienced. The trash had not been picked up prior to our stay and was not picked up the entire week. The manager said to leave it in the house and the cleaners would take it since the dumpster was full. The manager tried to accommodate us when needed in a timely manner. It was just not what we expected on our vacation with the family.

We stayed here with our family of 11- great house, plenty of room inside and outside! Austin was easy and fast to communicate with. We loved the location, zero complaints! We would definitely rent this house again in the future.

We greatly enjoyed the location and overall layout of the property. We had plenty of space in the kitchen and living area of the house for our large group. The bedrooms were adequate, some of the rooms were quite small and the beds not all that comfortable, but we did appreciate having separate spaces for everyone. We absolutely loved the deck and dock area. We brought our boat and it was great to have it docked right there. The outside space allowed us to spread out and enjoy watching people in the water from the shade. The biggest draw back was the cleanliness of the house. We found dirty dishes in the cabinets, pop cans and food crumbs under some beds and there was just an overall feel of grime. We also saw a few ants in the kitchen and signs of past rodent and bug issues. We were also underwhelmed with the provision of towels and kitchen items for clean up (only one wash cloth, no hand towels, no scrubbers). That accounts for our overall rating of 3 stars.

The place was as advertised. There appears to be some items that could be improved upon such as the deck and dock could be cleaner, especially the chairs. The inside of the house was very clean and worked well with our family. Overall, a nice place to stay.

This house was perfect for our family reunion. Great location for boating, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. Our group couldn’t have been happier with this property! The little cabin adjacent to the house was perfect for my brother, his wife, and their three kids to have a little space away from the main house. We would definitely recommend this house!

This was a beautiful place right on Lake of the Ozarks. I don't think you can do better at the price when getting a family of 17 together. The place recently transferred owners, but that didn't impact our stay, which was a relief! Definitely recommend if you'll have a boat, or want to spend a lot of time near the water.

Overall the property was okay. House was decent sized to accommodate our group, however the cleanliness of it was lackluster at best. I would recommend getting a different cleaning crew, and owners should visit the property more often to see the what state it is left in. The dock is fun, but could really use some cleaning as well, spider webs everywhere, and that includes on the martini deck and leading down to the dock, as well as the garage bedrooms. Not impressed with how dirty it was upon arrival. Also, the temperature could not be adjusted below 72, and with the outside temps being quite warm as well as the house being big, was pretty uncomfortable at night while sleeping.

Stayed for an extended weekend with a bunch of friends that haven't seen each other in years. It was conveniently located and we loved that it was right on the water. Plenty of space to entertain, caught a few fish and we definitely took the kayaks out a few times! Drive way is pretty steep tho

Roxann always makes sure you are well taken care of!! This house has all your basic needs so you dont have to worry about packing a bunch of stuff. The house had more than enough room so everyone was very comfortable! The lake view was gorgeous and the doc was lots of fun too lots of fishing and watching sports!! :) Thanks again roxann for a lot of fond memories with my family!!!

Large space for family, but basement had foundation leak. When cleaning water, discovered mold under bed. Basement stunk when using lower shower. When using shower off kitchen, the shower mister was gone and water was cold.

This house was exactly what we wanted for a week of vacation during COVID-19. We had the lake to keep the kiddos busy fishing, the house was very very well stocked for probably 30 people actually (we had 15 in our party) and we fit wonderfully and comfortably. Plenty of parking, the guest house was perfect for our oldest son to have his own privacy (22 yrs old), I would recommend this home to anyone who wants a relaxing lake house vacation! We will be returning from KY again for sure!

Loved the location. The cove was long and perfect off the main channel for tubing and jet skiing without lots of boat traffic. The house was set up great for everyone to have their own space or hang out together in the kitchen or living room. Also the dock and deck were great size for our group of 17. Enjoyed ourselves!

Spacious gathering areas from inside and the deck. We ate all our meals outside. We had reliable WiFi for our streaming youth event that provided our youth with great time in worship and teaching. Swimming and lake access was great. We loved and everyone said they would come back again.
