Laura was helpful and responsive. Her property is quiet and right on the lake. Our favorite part was the screened in porch. It overlooks the lake and you can sit in the rockers and listen to the loons while a breeze blows in. Kitchen is great and has everything you need.

We loved the property having a dock so the kids could swim and fish. Access to the water was fine for swimming or launching a kayak. Also, having the fire pit so close to the water was especially appreciated as we watched the sun set over the water nearly every evening.
There was ample room for the family, and my kids really enjoyed playing with your three boys/girl during our stay! The bedrooms and kitchen were adequately furnished with many extras in case they were needed. A large propane grill rounded out the furnishings, which, again, were very appreciated.
Finally, I can’t tell you how impressed I am with the owner’s communication - exceptionally quick, detailed, and so patient with my many questions.
We’ve created many fond memories this summer with our stay on Crystal Lake - even spying a bald eagle over the lake! Thanks so very much!

Wonderful family vacation. Beautiful lake. Check in was easy. Went out on the lake in the canoe and kayaks that were provided. Sat on the dock. Made s'mores sitting around the fire pit. Spent most mornings sitting on the screened in porch looking out at the water listening to the loons. Very peaceful. We enjoyed our vacation very much!

My family and I along with another couple had a great 3 night stay. This was just the place we were looking for. Very affordable, right on the water and nice and relaxing. The host was excellent and very responsive to communicate with. The kayaks and canoe were a bonus for the kids! Perfect quiet spot to relax which is just what we wanted. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The Crystal Lake camp was just what we wanted for our family reunion. The ten of us adults found all systems working, all cooking needs covered, enjoyed the updated conveniences and traditional decor of an older property. The waterside firepit was the biggest hit. We'd go back without hesitation.

The location was great, and we had a fabulous time! The house was clean and set back from the road, so it was quiet and without any traffic. The private beach was perfect for our small children and us. The kids loved it, and the swimming was great! The lake was very clean, and the hosts, Laura and Scott, were friendly and accommodating. We recommend this property for a family or quiet vacation!

Couldn’t have had a better time! Laura and Scott were fantastic host. The cabin is modern, very clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake and the sunsets were a dream. Best family vacation so far especially since the pup was able to join! Hope to book again next summer.

Perfect location. Perfect weather. Perfect Stay.
Laura was great, there to answer any questions quickly but not to bother us while we were there. Everything you need for a wonderful, relaxing lake vacation. Even the neighbors were great. Would stay again 100%!!!

Crystal Lake, ME camp
Communications with property owner was great. Basement was not used because unfinished side was musty. Owner made attempts to reduce moisture but smell is still present. Outdoors fuel tank near property smell emits into backyard slightly

June 25-July 2 Review
We normally vacation farther north in Sullivan, Maine every August but decided to find a spot closer to Portland this year since our daughter and her family live there. We coordinated our trip with our granddaughter’s first birthday and we actually hosted a gathering of about 14 people out by the lake. Ellie’s Birthday Party was a success.
We had originally intended to being our dogs but when we realized his close we would be to other neighboring properties we made other arrangements for them to stay home.
Overall we had a pleasant week with good weather. We enjoyed the main level of the camp with its updated kitchen and bath, LVP flooring, and the fresh towels and newer pots and pans.
However, We were disappointed with the condition of the lower level. Some of our guests have respiratory issues and we needed to have my mother in law sleep downstairs. She actually had to wipe down the table and chairs, beds, and other furniture in the basement which has a film of mildew on it. We plugged in the dehumidifier and emptied it at least once a day. And we also needed to get DampRid packets to hang downstairs. By the middle of the week it was tolerable downstairs. The leaking oil tank under the screened in porch was a turn off as well. And the condition of the property to the right as we came in the driveway was not very appealing. The work the owners have done on the main level is very nice. We had plenty of towels and communication with Laura was terrific.
I don’t know that we would book this particular camp again but we made the most of our week together. Thank you for allowing us to use your property.

Great Lake getaway
We stayed at the cabin over Memorial Day weekend while participating in the Pineland Farms trail running festival. It was a great to have such a relaxing place to come back to after a long day of running. The cabin had all of the essentials and was very comfortable. It was very quiet even though the neighbors are close. Great Lake for paddling. Always awesome to find a dog friendly stay!

Beautiful Lake House
We booked this property for the weekend and not only were we lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny weekend but we also got to stay at this beautiful property. Laura was a great host! I communicated with Laura a lot before the trip and she was always happy to answer our questions promptly. She also provided clean linens for all the beds, lots of towels, and basic essentials for the kitchen. We very much enjoyed the canoe and firepit on the property. There is tons of comfortable sleeping space, parking and hangout areas throughout the house. We had never been to Crystal Lake before but we will definitely come back. The water was so warm and enjoyable.
