We loved this house! It was so clean and welcoming! The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We loved the hot tub, fireplace, and view! Elk and deer came right up to the house! I would recommend this for any family. The fenced yard and wrap around porch was perfect for our little corgi. We will definitely be back!

Place was very nice. It was only a 10 minute commute to Midtown Ruidoso. Beautiful location with a lot of wildlife running around. Cabin has literally everything that you will ever need. I even saw a baby high-chair. Lots of room inside. Heater worked great, hot water came fast and beds were comfortable.
When we pulled up in the drive-way upon arrival there were 3 deer laying in the front yard. On the last day we saw the wild horses grazing near the cabin.
Host was a great communicator and always responded quickly. We really didn't need much but when we communicated it was fast.
Don't hesitate to rent this cabin if you're sitting on the fence with it. It's as described.

Everything was super clean & in order. We had everything we needed. The property manager was friendly, communicative & helpful. We were so happy to find a decently priced location that is pet friendly & our 2 dogs enjoyed the stay. With the full fence they were able to roam. Be careful if you have smaller dogs, our slender Boston was able to squeeze through the entrance gate, but no issues with the fenced part. The fireplace was nice, the hot tub was amazing under the stars, and we even saw deer right in the yard. Loved it!

The house and fenced yard were great. But the neighborhood was noisy and the house is right on the street. and there was a sewer smell as we sat on the front porch

Very clean, super easy booking and great communication throughout!

This was perfect for our family. One queen bed bedroom downstairs was great to keep my dad from going up and down stairs. We used all the space upstairs as well. Beautiful view out the west window. The porch was great to drink coffee in the morning. Fenced yard keep our doggo contained. The hot tub also has a great view and worked great. The place is not too far from town. My sister took her family hiking at Monjeau Lookout and highly recommends it. Glad we found a place to fit all our needs!

We had an excellent family vacation at this cabin the week after Christmas. 6 of us fit comfortably in the cabin. Great location to be able to go out and explore.

Amber is just amazing! Very communitive and even left us a welcoming basket with doggo treats for the puppers which they loved by the way. The home is so cozy and had everything you would need. I got to check off a bucket list item of drinking coffee with a mountain view. The view is absolutely beautiful from the bedroom balcony. The only down side is it didn't snow while we were there.

This is the perfect property for a nice relaxing get-a-way. Especially if you want to sit on the porch and read all day. If you want to get out and about the property is close to just about everything. The house is cozy and perfect for family to gather and visit. We highly recommend this property and will likely book again for future trips to the Ruidoso area.

This home had everything we needed for us and our two dogs to stay for a week. The house is well stocked with kitchen items and the hot tub worked great. The fenced backyard was perfect for our pups.

Spent a week a this wonderful cabin. 5 stars for enclosed porch and fenced yard. Very difficult to find nice cabins with fenced yard. The pups felt like they were on vacation.
Great location, well stocked, and nice views. Nice to see the wild horses in the yard. Thanks Amber. We will be back.

My husband and I stayed here for a week our dog in August. Really loved the enclosed back yard and secure wrap around porch for the dog. Great little balcony upstairs to get higher, but we spent most of our time on the front porch, drinking coffee/wine and relaxing. The one thing I could have used was an electrical outlet on the front porch because my phone kept dying from playing Pandora and scrolling! The kitchen was well stocked and had the cooking items we needed. Be aware there is no dishwasher so I suggest paper plates unless you want to do a lot of hand washing. We love Alto to get away from Ruidoso traffic and to get near our new fav dog friendly winery, Enchanted Vine! We saw several deer around the house. Great place, thanks Amber!

This cabin had everything we needed! The closed in deck and fenced back yard was so great for my husband and me and our two pups!! The owner was so communicative and made sure we had all the information we needed to make our trip smooth. We enjoyed the hot tub, even in the summer time. This cabin is close enough to town but far enough away to fill out of the way. We had a great stay here.

Beautiful Home; Gorgeous Views
Home is well-kept and well-apportioned, with everything you need for your stay, including all that you will need for meal prep and cooking. Furnishings are comfortable and the WiFi and Smart TVs were more than enough for those off hours when you get back from sightseeing/shopping. And to walk in to a pet friendly welcome basket (people snacks and doggie snacks)
The exterior of the home is just what we look for. A nice, fenced yard for letting pets explore freely, am wonderful 3/4 wraparound with plenty of scenery and safety gates to keep the pets on the porch, a sweet upstairs balcony for long range views, and a very nice hot tub for relaxing those tired bodies from hours of high-altitude souveniring. NOTE: We’ve been to SOOO many rentals with hot tubs where half the jets don’t work or the lights don’t work or something doesn’t work. EVERYTHING WORKS!!!
Adding to all of this, the property is located in the enchanting high-desert region of the Lincoln National Forest, with beautiful scenic drives, historic towns like Lincoln (Billy the Kid), and wondrous geological formations like White Sands and the Valley of Fires.
Definitely one of our top ten rentals.

Peace and quiet and cooler weather
Short trip to get away from the heat and get in a couple of training rides on my bicycle in the mountain air. Ruidoso/Alto is always our destination. Very quaint place. Reminded me of my Grandfather’s cabin growing up.

Great Cabin Getaway!
My family thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Alto/Ruidoso. This cabin had a great location - close enough to everything, but tucked away from the road far enough to be quiet.
We spent time at Ruidoso Winter Park (a few minutes away) and White Sands (1.5 hours away, but worth the trip). Get to both early to avoid crowds. White Sands is worth a day trip!
In our commutes around the neighborhood, we saw wild horses, elk, and many deer. All within blocks of the property!
After a fun day, we took full advantage of the hot tub, it was a big hit!
Overall great place, we recommend it!

Charming and Convenient Location
We enjoyed everything about this location!
It’s convenient to Ruidoso, Capitan, Lincoln, Cloudcroft, and White Sands, but remote enough for a great family gathering!
The cabin is clean and well equipped, and the host is fabulous! This was everything we asked for and more!

Alto Getaway
Nice Cabin with plenty of room to sleep 8 - 10 comfortably! Pet friendly, with a big fenced in yard for our pup to run around in. In a quiet piece of Alto, but a stone's throw from Ruidoso. I highly recommend it; it's a great value!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin near Ruidoso, NM. It's in a great location with a beautiful new from the front deck. We say mule deers, a bobcat, a herd of elk, and heard wild turkeys. It's a short drive to Ruidoso and the tourist experience, but far enough away from it for peace & quiet. We would stay here again.

Family Friendly and Absolutely Beautiful
Our stay was nothing short of amazing!! The property managers made it easy, the communication was awesome and they even let us check in early and check out late!! Because we had a 5 1/2 hour drive back home, this accommodation really helped. The home was beautiful and well taken care of. We will definitely recommend and stay again!!
