We also provide canola oil, a full spice rack along with salt and pepper for cooking (along with cooking implements).
You will have full and total access to this half house with the side private entrance (right off the driveway) during your stay. Feel free to stream Netflix as much as you like, or cook your favorite meals in our fully equipped kitchen, or enjoy the bistro space on the porch where you came in!
We thank you for choosing to stay with us. We hope you enjoy your stay and the many sites that Irondequoit and Rochester has to offer, if you need anything, please message us and we will do our best to fix, connect or direct you with your questions or concerns. You won't see us, we won't bother you, and we are just a message away. Enjoy your stay! Tamara & Jim
This part of town is quiet. Convenient to many places for food or beverage, like DiBella's Subs (since 1918!), or Ridge Donuts or Rubino's or Pasta Villa or take in a craft brew at Irondequoit Beer Company. Looking for fun or exploration? Seabreeze Amusement Park and Durand Eastman Golf Course and Irondequoit Bay State Marine Park or Seneca Park Zoo is minutes away. Or walk the Rochester Market on Saturday mornings ... there's plenty to explore!
You're literally 30 seconds from the NYS Route 104, which will take you East to Interstate 490 in a hot minute, or West to Interstate 390 in just a few minutes: Either way, you're minutes from anywhere!. Or, you can head Northwest and in about 8 minutes hit the NYS Seaway that runs west along the shoreline of Lake Ontario.
- What Our Guests May NOT Like: The backyard unfortunately is off-limits. Parking is limited to the "left lane" of the driveway (the driveway is wide enough for 3 cars side-by-side). The stairs leading to the 2nd floor are steep-however we have motion sensored lights to light your way (with quick turnoff!). There are separate air conditioner units in each room vs central air conditioning.
- Please note that we reserve the right to cancel reservations for profiles with a rating lower than 4 stars; for guests with new profiles without reviews, these requests will be reviewed manually and will be subject to screening and questioning before a reservation may be confirmed.
Please remember that you're not staying in a hotel: treat the space with respect - if any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but no one from FCRP is living on-site.

Water was very hot

I’ve stayed up in several properties, however this one was the best ever. It was extremely clean, “homey” and beautiful. The hosts provided very clear instructions as to their expectations which made communication clear. I’m short I would choose this house again and again.

We were stopping in Rochester for 2 nights on our way to Chicago. The house was a perfect fit for us and our four kids. There are 2 queen beds in the large upstairs room which was great for our three daughters to share. Very nice hosts, and great and safe location.

The best part of our stay at the house will be the historical significance of the house itself and high quality in communications by the host. It is true there was a learning curve in understanding all the facilities available in the house, but each of us took in good stride and enjoyed our stay.

I lived just around the corner from this property growing up and was back for a visit with family in the area. If you're from Irondequoit (or really Rochester at all) this is a great place to stay. Plenty of space, really cool old style home, clean and great communication. Will stay here in future years if available.

The house worked very well. I would suggest pulling out the hideabed more often - there were lots of crumbs

My first Vrbo after disappointing experiences in nearby hotels. I'm now a convert. The hosts were quick to reply to messages and helpful. The house was charming and clean, and oh-so-convenient. I will definitely return. Thank you!

The property was clean and neat. Everything was easy to access. Met the owner Jim who was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality and opening up your home to us.

The location is wonderful. Minutes from lots of stores.

Rented the property last minute due to a swim meet for our kids. Convenient to have a place to go in between sessions with separate bedrooms/bathrooms for each family. One minor issue when arriving but owners answered quickly and was easily reconciled.

Perfect spot for a large group. Kitchen had everything needed, all the extra paper producers w/all the little extras. Loved how much space was inside, large enough for a wake up yoga with a few of us in the living room! A/C and ceiling fans in every room, house was beautiful inside & out! Wait til you see the gardens and custom metal dragonfly’s all around outside! So quaint! Location was so close to everything too. You won’t be disappointed in this one! Pics online did not do it justice.

road crew greece
We needed a place to stay while working on the road for a month and this property was perfect. Communication was quick and the hosts went out of their way to answer our questions very timely. Plenty of off street parking. Kitchen amenities made cooking easy. With the long stay, they offered to send their cleaning staff over to change the beds. Would have stayed longer, but it was booked, would recommend.

House is a very charming, large house on a corner lot in a quiet, safe neighborhood. My wife and I walked the neighborhood both mornings we were there. Ample off-street parking for several cars. Bedrooms were large and beds were very comfortable. Beautiful bay window in the main family room. Access to second floor maybe challenging for those with disabilities or heavy/bulky baggage. Property is close to downtown Rochester and about 15 minutes from U of R.
