Camp was very clean, roomy, great amenities. 3 kayaks, 2 paddle boards were ready for use. Fishing on the dock was good. Right on the dock lots of blue gills, make sure you bring some worms. Fire wood at tractor supply 10 minutes away. Corn hole along with some games, playing cards also available on site. Great place can’t wait to book again.

I can’t say enough good things about this property, host Chris, and all that was offered/provided. It was picture perfect and we would stay again in a heart beat.
Thank you for welcoming us into your property and allowing us to enjoy it

We hosted a few members of our bridal party here for the weekend and it was the perfect location! Close to town for travel to and from the wedding venue, but offered a beautiful and relaxing place to stay for the rest of the weekend. The sunset view from paddle boards on the lake can’t be beat! Attentive and friendly hosts. Would absolutely return in the future!

The main reason we stayed at this cottage is because it had the bedrooms to accommodate the amount of family members we had coming from CT, SC and Canada. My husband and I stayed in the bunkhouse and let the younger generations have the main house so they were able to visit later into the night without feeling that they were bothering us. The bunkhouse was comfortable but is still in a state of updating as there is a 1/2 bath but there was no light in there nor was there any hot water. We were only there a few days so it wasn't that big of a deal. The rest of the family was very pleased with accommodations as well as the wonderful view of the lake. We made use of the firepit one evening so that was really nice. We had hoped to have time to use the outdoor kitchen area but ended up not having enough time but it appeared to be equipped with anything you might need.
The communication with the host, Chris was fantastic. I felt bad bothering him but the few time I had to reach out he was always quick to respond.

We chose this property for several reasons
1) It is near our daughter's house and we traveled there for her wedding.
2) It is on a lake!
3) It allows up to 12 guests and we needed that
4) I didn't really shop price but I think it was reasonably priced for 12 people and being lakefront.
We met with Chris, the owner, in person when we checked in and he explained everything and was very nice to deal with. The cabin comes with 2 paddle boards, 3 kayaks, a dock that the kids can dive off of into the lake, etc. Very lake-friendly. Calm quiet neighborhood. Very nice neighbor to the left of the property who has some very nice large dogs. Don't let them scare you. They are super friendly. In the afternoon after the post-clean-up of the wedding, we invited the hot and sweaty group over for a swim. The neighbor to the right (looking towards the lake) was not happy with the number of cars parked on his part of the property. In the end, however, we shook hands and all was fine. Just be aware that he won't be happy if you or your guests park on his property. Chris very nicely let us know that the neighbor wasn't happy and that we shouldn't have had cars parked where we did. In the end, all was fine. The property has a nice outdoor kitchen and grill, a fire pit, etc. Very comfortable. Part of the sleeping quarters is a separate "bunkhouse" with a private 1/2 bath. Only one shower for 12 people was a bit of a surprise but it was fine. We would definitely stay there next time! Thanks Chris!

The location of the property was just beautiful we had the lake in the backyard and a river in the front yard. If you’re looking to get off the grid and have some peace and quiet in a beautiful area this is the place for you there was so much house we didn’t even use at all.

We enjoyed our long weekend stay. It’s a beautiful spot and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed cooking all our meals on the Blackstone and relaxing by the fire. We appreciated the available firewood and paddle boards and kayaks. We are looking forward to returning!

We enjoyed our stay here. The view was amazing. However we were disappointed that the 2 bathrooms were in different buildings and the stairs to the loft were challenging for older adults.

The location on the lake was beautiful. They upstairs bedroom access was a very steep ladder which made it a bit difficult to get luggage up and coming down in the night was tricky

The house and property were just beautiful! We swam, fished, canoed, used the kayaks & paddle boards. The outdoor cooking area and bar were perfect! The neighbors were so kind and even invited us to their property to view the most gorgeous sunset! We had adults, teens and a pre-teen with us and we all had a blast! Thanks so much for helping us create some fun lakeside memories!

We truly enjoyed our week at this property. It was very clean and had everything we needed and more. Twelve (8 adults and 4 kids) of us stayed here and there was plenty of room for all of us. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a nice quiet, peaceful and relaxing spot on the lake.

This is our 2nd stay and as usual, it's hard to beat! We have stayed at several camps on Sebec Lake but our family loves this one! Our kids learned to paddleboard this year which was so easy to teach them off the beach. Fishing and sunsets are beautiful from the end of the dock! The outdoor cooking area is an added bonus and starry nights in front of the campfire are unbeatable. Chris is always accommodating and responds quickly to any questions. We will be back next year for sure.

The sheltered cove was great for young grandkids to swim and learn to kayak! The bunkhouse was great for the grandparents! We hope to come again next year

Incredible, Quiet, Relaxing
Our week long stay at this property was absolutely the best. The property was just as advertised with no surprises or disappointed. Our hosts had both the main house and smaller cabin clean and well stocked with more than just the basics and essentials. The view of the lake from the dining table is spectacular and all beds and bedrooms were comfortable and well stocked with clean blankets, sheets, pillows and pillow cases. This retreat is truly a gem in northwest/central Maine. The outdoor bar and gas stove was an additional amenity that was a perfect extra touch that we all enjoyed thoroughly. We brought our jet boat (which can only be put in at one of the two local marinas) and tied up quickly and easily at the private dock that this property has. 🙂 Sebec Lake is clean and 11 miles long- great boating and swimming which we did plenty of! We highly recommend this property for a week long vacation or staycation.

Nice and peaceful location
This camp is well appointed and it’s a beautiful location. We originally weren’t going to go this far north but was worth it. Chris was easy to work with. I would recommend it. Most stars I’ve seen in a long time.

Nestled in nature
My family and I booked the cabin as part of our New England fall foliage trip. It was located farther out than where we were looking , but I’m so glad we booked it! The cabin is well cared for and filled with love. I felt as though we we’re part of the family enjoying grandma and grandpas cabin. Gorgeous views, access to kayaks and SUP’s, fire pit, grill, cozy patio furniture, puzzles and card games if the weather’s poor, cooking essentials and a streaming capable tv. The beds comfort exceeded our expectations as well. There’s a separate bunk house with a bathroom, which we didn’t use, but think it’s a fantastic addition. We didn’t have any issues here, my only suggestion to others would be to bring groceries or any essentials with you since it’s more remote.

Peaceful with all the necessities....
Well-appointed cabin, in a tranquil setting, with all you need for a family getaway! The property was neat and clean, with a wonderful outdoor area to relax, kayak, paddleboard, fish, or just sit by the campfire and enjoy the wildlife and beautiful views. Thank you Chris & Jodi for sharing your property with us!

Great place to spend a few days in nature
Its hard to imagine a better a lake rental than this one. We really enjoyed our stay here (our young son keeps asking if we can go back). You get to be in nature, but still have all the amenities of electricity, running water, and even wi-fi. One thing to note is that the King Size bed is up a steep step ladder, may or may not be an issue for some folks.

Maine getaway
We loved the location and set up of this property. It was just what we needed for our vacation, quiet spot on a beautiful lake. The property manager was very responsive to our questions and inquiries. We only had one issue with the toilets flushing but issue was resolved same day. The property manager, Chris checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly after issue was resolved. We look forward to returning to this property.

Amazing stay!
We had a fabulous time at this property. There is a relaxed fun vibe to the camp which set the tone for our trip. The house itself and bunkhouse are comfy and homey. All the beds were extremely comfortable and the linens smelled so clean and fresh. You can tell the owners truly love this home for themselves as well as sharing it with others to enjoy. Owners were easy to communicate with at all times. Outdoor bar area is fun for drinks and grilling. We had a blast using the paddle boards and kayak. All the water toys were easily accessible and easy to put away. We are already planning our trip back!
