It was a very comfortable place to stay and was pet friendly. Hiking trails were close and many places were within walking distance, including a Finnish sauna.

Mona and team were awesome to deal with. The place was excellent!

Perfectly appointed accommodations in a quiet but well-located neighborhood. We walked to the Redwoods Park, to the “green trail,” and to Arcata Square. The unit was clean, comfortable and well-designed.

Nothing fancy, but worked. Couch in living space very hard so has to go buy blow up mattress to make it usable. Left notes for host with a few small additions like black out curtains could have been great. No outdoor space for dogs. I probably would rent again. No big issues.

Clean! Comfortable! Great amenities like cream for coffee!

We had a great stay and our host, Mona, responded quickly to all of my questions.

We loved staying in this cute I bedroom retreat.
Location was great, close walking to town Plaza, shops & restaurants.
Not far from 101 by far enough not to hear the traffic noise. Beautiful wide open sky view for star gazing at night.
Very cozy by the firepit nestled in the sweet patio space.
Friendly hosts, very clean, plenty of amenities, but uncluttered so you can bring your own favorite supplies & snacks.
We will definatly be back.

I came to Arcata with my two dogs to visit my college freshman. Mona’s house was perfect for us. What I really noticed was how clean everything was. The location was a couple blocks from the town square with lots of food options.

Walking distance to the college, the square, and many good restaurants. It’s on an alley which I wasn’t expecting, bit it felt safe and cozy.

This is a cozy place for two people and a pet. My wife and I spent a week here and, although we didn't spend a lot time in the suite - there's so much to do in Arcata - the time we spent there was peaceful and comfortable. I was able to work remote in the day with excellent internet connectivity and it's a very short walk to the plaza in the evening.

The Sinatra Suite was amazing. Clean and quiet. My hosts were amazing, too.

I used to live in the area several years ago and wanted to show my kid around the amazing trees/forests, beaches, architecture, and arts/culture. This was a cute little place that allowed us a central home base for all we wanted to do in Arcata, Humbolt Co., and the state park. This place is close (a few blocks) to Arcata Plaza and surrounding shops/restaurants but also had the comforts of home so we could bring our own food & cook as well. The hosts were quick to respond and pleasant. Our stay was quite enjoyable and relaxing.

Did have some difficulty locating property
5.0
The owner of the property was very responsive when we were coming in and the apartment was perfect for our few day stay. It allowed us to easily access town, the university, and the forest, but was a few streets over from the main portion of down town, in the residential neighborhoods which was just what we wanted. The lodging is a converted garage with a small side yard and no view, which is perfect for a landing pad, but is not for someone who likes to go to a location and not leave to go elsewhere. Everything is in close walking distance except the beach however. .

This property was close to downtown and was clean and quiet. The shower was good. Both the bed and the pull out couch were comfortable to sleep on. However, none of the furniture would be comfortable to sit on for extended periods. I brought comfortable outside chairs with me. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stay at Sinatra Suite convenient to national park
My grandson, my dog and I had a great stay at the Sinatra Suite. The space worked out perfectly for us. I slept in the bedroom and my grandson slept on the fold-out couch. The kitchen is well equipped. I liked parking in the alley. The neighborhood is really nice. We took my dog for several walks in the area. There's a nice farmer's market on Saturdays. The plaza area has some fun shops. There's a real nice clothing resale shop down the street, I can never resist a resale shop. Grocery stores are nearby. We spent most of our time at the Redwoods National and State parks. The closest was about a half hour drive.

Perfect Spot
Sinatras Suite was the perfect location for exploring Arcata. We rode bikes to Arcata and we could walk everywhere easily. Parking was no issue. Very clean and well equipped! Looking forward to a return visit!

Close to Restaurants
Property is close to Restaurants which was nice. The people in the front house were really loud and having a get together right outside the bedroom window and enjoying their fire pit that sits right outside the bathroom window. So that was a bit awkward. Normally I wouldn't care but we were exhausted from our explorations of the Redwoods so we were trying to sleep. There was a lot of bugs in the house but they didn't bother us.

Wonderful Arcata graduation weekend!
Came up for 3 nights for my sons college graduation and it was perfect! Super close to campus, the town and my son’s house. Highly recommend! We will return!

Arcata adventure
Property as advertised. The space heater helped as it was cold inside. A chair and reading lamp would enhance the experience. Quiet and close to everything. Nice place

Very clean and comfortable close to the plaza ....Close to wonderful restaurants.
We had a wonderful time in Arcata. Our host was always available and responded well to any emails. Our cottage was clean and comfortable..The kitchen was very nice for a smaller property.

Short Stay in Arcata
Nice place to stay for a night or 2 for two people and a dog. One of us slept in the bedroom and the other slept on the futon bed which made the living area a little tight. Both beds were comfortable. Kitchen was serviceable but could have used a larger microwaveable bowl, a serrated knife and larger frying pan. Easy access to the Community Redwood Forest across the freeway and the town square where we happened upon a farmers market. We enjoyed shopping at the nearby coop/“Wholefoods”type store. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Moms weekend with our HSU students
We had a lovely visit to Arcata and your little cottage was perfect for us.
We utilized every inch of the property and enjoyed the patio area and fire pit.
A few outdoor throw pillows would be great out there, the vine wall is quite pokey.
The only other suggestion I have is a little sign re: coffee maker. Only put in the amount of water you need for each serving, and be patient, it will do its thing, don’t keep opening and closing it.

Perfect !
We stayed at the downtown Arcata Sinatra Suite for our son's commencement weekend from HSU. The property was ideally located and literally a half block away from the best Pizza in town! Make sure to try the Hot Goat pizza! The suite was modern, clean, bright and had a very comfortable bed and accommodations. We stayed in chilly December and truly enjoyed sitting beneath the stars as a family and enjoyed the fire pit with some hot chocolates. Inside we had space heaters that kept us toasty.
Mona was a great host and very responsive to our emails throughout our stay and the check in/check out process was smooth and easy.
The location for downtown access in Arcata was excellent, everything you need is just a walk or bike ride away. Grocery, delicious restaurants and a morning ride or walk to the marshes or redwoods was very easy. We definitely will stay again.
