Such a beautiful home. Perfect for a small getaway my family and I really enjoyed staying here and the view from the top deck was amazing!! Definitely gonna book again!!

Very calm location

Location was great! Beautiful views from upstairs deck.

Overall property was nice and comfortable and the. scenery was great. Cleanliness we are paying for a clean environment and was surprised to find hair clogging the drain the downstairs bathroom, debris under the carpet which is a trip hazard under the dining room table. Pay good money and it's not cheap to have to clean the hair out of the tub drain to use the tub. Views were amazing, deer in the side yard and nearby. No instructions in your nice booklet for the property how to operate the fireplace but managed to figure it out.

The home was spacious, clean and in a great location. The furnishings were fun, and we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place with plenty of space. The back deck with the views is a huge plus, great for sitting and relaxing and enjoying the view. The cabin is very well setup with all you may need to have a great stay and very close to town and many things to see and do from hiking to shopping.
I do agree with a couple of the other reviews, the bedding could use a bit of a refresh. Two out of three queen beds are good, the third queen mattress, lower right bedroom needs to be retired.
The bunk beds are cool though and appear to be much better mattress wise.
Tons of deer wander the neighborhood.
Very quite and dark at night, great for star gazing from the back porch.

Loved it

Well overall we liked the cabin and location. But all three beds are terrible and needs to be replaced. People who rent cabins or rooms expect to have comfortable sleeping arrangements . Also two spindles were missing on top deck. Any small child or toddler could fall through and it would be catastrophic. And the lock on.the sliding door on the lower deck doesn't work very well and when we checked in it was not locked. But we would love to stay there again with some improvements.

Excellent stay with spectacular view. Only improvement that the owner should consider would be an upgrade to the mattresses and pillows.

Beautiful property! Lots of deer and beautiful scenery!

The porch view

Our family had a great time staying in this cabin, we didn’t want to leave. Everything was clean and cozy. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed watching both the sunset and sunrise from the balcony, as well as the hummingbirds and deer that came daily. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this cabin to anyone who plans to stay in the area. Close enough to town, but still tucked away to give that “in the mountains” feel.

We enjoyed the view. Amazing sunsets. Kitchen was well appointed and the house was nicely decorated. We were able to see wild deer and horses from the deck. We grilled twice on a new grill. Close to downtown shopping. I look forward to our next visit.

Enjoyed our coffee in the morning on back porch and wine at night. Best View Ever of the mountains!! Honestly, the pictures online do not do it justice. Cabin was perfect for our family. TV in bedrooms was a huge plus. Saw lots of wildlife from porch, turkeys, elk, mule deer, horses... Nothing negative to say. Cant wait to go back.

The home is beautiful with an absolutely amazing view! It had everything you needed and filled with gorgeous southwest decor.
The deck has some missing & loose rails/siding that need replacing as could be a potential safety hazard for anyone with small children. Found letter on ground someone else had left warning of side rails missing & of some of the deck furniture issues. Glider was coming apart, outdoor table had sharp exposed rusted edges, plant table was broken. I had to rate communication with property manager but I did not communicate with them.

Overall best place we have ever stayed in Ruidoso

The house was beautiful. Especially the decks. The scenery was especially nice, we saw deer, hummingbird’s and all kinds of birds. The Mountain View’s very special too. I am handicapped so I was looking for a place that didn’t have a lot of stairs to get to the house and a master bedroom on the main floor. This place was perfect. We hope to go back.

Great home is lovely and very comfortable. Would definitely rent again. Only negative is VRBO fees have gotten extremely expensive.

This rental was one of the best we have rented in Ruidoso. The accommodations are excellent, and the balcony is where we spent the majority of our time. The amount of wildlife was awesome. We saw a large number of deer, elk, turkeys, numerous species of birds, and watching the hummingbirds were very relaxing. Location is a short distance to town, hiking trails, grocery stores, but not with a lots of traffic. There were a few maintenance issues which we submitted to the rental company so hopefully they are addressed. We will return to this property in the future.

The house is very nice and roomy with amazing views from the top decks! Got to see hummingbirds and deer.
My only complaint was that the house was very dusty even though it had just been cleaned as it was rented before us. We as renters are charged quite a bit for cleaning fee so I expect the house to be very clean without spider webs and dust. We had an issue with the downstairs shower which they came within the hour to fix but were unable to do so, so they had to come the next day again. They kinda fix it but was still hard to use so we all just had to use the shower in the master bedroom. The kitchen isn’t stocked very well with supplies. Couldn’t sit out in the bottom deck because all the chairs were broken.
