About this house rental

This wonderful home has 3 bedrooms and an open loft with a day bed that will transform into a king bed. There is a king suite with large walk-in shower and bathroom. There is a queen suite with a shower and bathroom. The third bedroom has a queen bed. There is a full tub/shower bathroom. The living/dining/kitchen area is all open with vaulted ceiling and large ceiling fans. The wrap around porch/deck has a screened in portion overlooking the heated swimming pool. There is an outside shower by the pool with hot water. Please use it to wash off the sand before getting into the pool. There are televisions in every bedroom. There is wireless internet.
The house has direct access to Bowman Beach, the nicest beach area on Sanibel Island. It is short walk to the beach, approximately a 5-minute walk. There is a wagon and a beach cart to haul your beach gear the short walk to the beach. Beach towels are provided. There are some beach items and pool noodles and floats. There are beach chairs and beach toys.
The house is less than 2 miles to Captiva Island and all it has to offer in addition to Sanibel activities.

Tbis property was nice however there was a hole in the screened in porch secured by duct tape....it kept falling..could not enjoy the porch in the evenings r/t bugs biting....it was kind of jungly and overgrown behind the property. The pool was not clean when we arrived...In one of the bedrooms the the sheets smelled like they hadn't been changed...(sweaty

While the pool had been cleaned prior to our arrival, there was wood and other debris in the pool. The pool was finally cleaned 5 days after our arrival. One of the toilets did not work properly. The tank would not fill with water so we had to fill the tank manually prior to each flushing. The host said they will fixed the toilet after our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and yard; unfortunately we stayed during a week that rained a lot, resulting in significant flooding, and even a small amount of roof leakage. Property was wonderful.

Stayed here as our condo on Sanibel is in its final stages of renovation. The house was nice and had many amenities that made our stay "like home". The pool was nice, but lacked shade or a patio umbrella, so we utilized it more in the late afternoon. It's a 5 minute walk to the parking lot of Bowmans beach, then another 5 to the beach. With our kids the walk took 15 minutes from driveway to sand. But Sanibels beaches our worth it! Location is perfect for Captiva dinners and activities.

This house was perfect for our family vacation! It was equipped with everything we needed. We spent many mornings and evenings at the pool and in the screened in porch. Most afternoons we walked over to the beautiful beach (which was only 5 min away). This was a great find for us!

The house was clean and just as described. We were quite happy with the location as it was convenient to both Sanibel and Captiva. Beach access is a short walk away and beach area filled with beautiful shells. Some construction happening next door, however not bothersome. Enjoyed our stay very much. Mucky Duck in Captiva was a delight at sunset.

Beautiful, peaceful property! Walk to the beach was along a beautiful path, easy walking. Heated pool was perfect for relaxing and a fun game of water volleyball. We could not get the hot tub to heat, but the weather was so nice we didn’t really care. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, bath towels and beach towels nice quality. Nice bike and walking trails on the island. We had a wonderful family vacation!

We had two 70 year olds, three 40 year olds and three kids 11, 9 and 6. Everyone could walk to the beach (12 min door to beach through a pretty shell path) and the house has a good beach cart and beach wagon. They also had a ton of good quality beach and bath towels. The beach was AMAZING. We saw dolphins jumping every day. The pool was well heated and the hot tub was perfect. I had a few questions for the manager and she responded within minutes. Overall a really great beach week in a comfortable and clean house! We would go back!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Sanibel and this property was great for us. The owners really have the house well stocked with many amenities and well equipped kitchen. We were glad to see Sanibel staying strong after the terrible hurricane. We were able to enjoy many of Sanibel and Captiva’s pristine beaches. We feel very blessed to have spent a week together at sweet Sanibel as she rebuilds.

This place is great! Well maintained, quiet and simply lovely. We had an absolute blast! As usual Sanibel didn’t disappoint and this great property helped it along. We had a few elderly and disabled with us and the ONLY drawback was the walking distance to the beach. But that was EASILY solved by simply taking the 2 minute drive to the beach! Thanks for letting us experience your property. Hopefully we will meet again in the future!

What an incredible week we had at this beautiful property! It had everything you would need in every room and bathroom...plus the kitchen was stacked with everything. We sat in the screened in porched in the morning and enjoyed our coffee with the fountain drip noise of the sauna onto the pool. We loved how it was centrally located to the island, so we could go toward Captiva or back to the causeway very quickly. Bowman's beach was around the corner, the most perfect beach! We would definitely stay again!

Had a good stay at the house. House was spacious, clean and well located. Was a last minute booking and understand it will take some time for Sanibel to return to normal. All though Bowman Beach is closed, we entered around the barriers and had the beach to ourselves. Some stores and restaurants are starting to open, would recommend driving another 10 minutes for dinner in Captiva. Hope to get back soon.

This house is beautiful and so very well equipped for a family stay. All of our needs were met here. Bowmans beach is about a ten minute walk on a lovely path. The beds were very comfy, plenty of space, linens, kitchen supplies galore and the pool was a very nice extra. We would definitely recommend this home!

This property was in a quiet area with a lovely breeze, not far from beach. we enjoyed riding the bikes to the beach and walking along the path to the beach where we saw manatee’s from the bridge. We loved having the private pool and screened in patio. for our meals. The kitchen was perfect and there were floats, beach toys and a grill. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Sanibel and would highly recommend this property.

This house was awesome! Very clean and well equipped to enjoy Sanibel! The location is great just about 10 min walk to Bowman beach. The wagon, chairs, beach toys, fishing rods, bikes and pool floats/toys made it all the more fun. We had one small issue with the pool and the owner promptly had it remedied the next morning. Overall amazing trip and the house was perfect for my sisters family and ours! Hoping to come back again next year!!

This house is absolutely outstanding! The location within a short walking distance of Bowman Beach was ideal. A spectacular pool and outside entertainment area. The interior of the house was spotless and in perfect condition. This was the perfect getaway for my party of four girlfriends. Having the bicycles and beach chairs available for use was so convenient. Interior decoration is gorgeous and we loved it. This property went above and beyond expectations on all fronts and we can't wait to return! It's a five star experience!

Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Family came in from several different states and all had a great time. Everything needed to enjoy a beach vacation was available - bikes, beach supplies, wagon to go to beach, beach towels, and a private pool and much more. Highly recommend!
