After driving 600 miles, we arrived at the cottage early evening. Fergus and team had set up everything, the lights were on, there were snacks and fruit, which was lovely. The cottage is small, but so well decorated and appointed. For the two of us and our dogs, it was the perfect setup.
Fergus was available and attentive. We loved our two nights and highly recommend the place.

The cottage was exactly as described in the listing, if not better. It was extremely clean and comfortable with a variety of amenities on top of being pet friendly. The hosts were very friendly, responsive and accommodating. We would highly recommend to others looking for a getaway in Westchester county!

Nice little cabin in rural NY. Wonderful, attentive hosts. This cottage has the basics: reasonably comfortable bed, kitchenette (mini fridge, hot plate, air fryer, etc), wifi and TV with many apps. We were there on a very cold night and the 2 space heaters weren't really sufficient (about 60 degrees). Then it warmed into the high 30s and we were warm and cozy. Shower is weak. Bathroom is tiny. Futon couch/bed is awkward to sit on. But if you're not a fussy traveler and are using the cottage mostly as a place to sleep (as we were), it's a charming little place to stay.

The cottage and location couldnt have been better. Close proximity to family. Clean, light, decorated nicely and very communicative and attentive owners. Will definitely be coming back!

My family had a great weekend staying at the cabin. Although it was close to the house, we felt like we had complete privacy and it was nice to have the outdoor space as well. The hosts gave us great recommendations in the area and we even were greeted with delicious muffins and other treats. We would highly recommend this cabin and cannot say enough good things about our stay!

Great location, cute mini home, but kitchen appliances were small and insufficient. Day bed in living room was difficult to use as a sofa. Air conditioning was weak for a hot summer.

During a difficult time when my wife and I drove up for a funeral, we were fortunate to find this hidden gem. Nestled away from the main house, the cottage offered us the much-needed privacy and tranquility we were seeking. It was immaculately clean and exquisitely decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly put us at ease.
The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort during our stay. From the thoughtful provision of coffee and snacks to the attentive and caring demeanor, they truly made us feel like honored guests. Despite our limited time, we could sense the charm of the surrounding town, with enticing restaurants just a stone’s throw away. Although we couldn’t fully explore due to the busyness of the occasion, we left with a longing to return and uncover all the hidden treasures this place has to offer.
Should our paths lead us back to this area, we wouldn’t hesitate to choose this delightful cottage once more. Its serene ambiance, coupled with the exceptional hospitality we experienced, makes it an absolute standout.

We had a great time. The host was amazing. Pretty good taste with decoration. Only observation would be that the kitchen is not fully equipped as we were hoping for. There were no cooking knifes or spatulas. Also no drying rack for dishes (which would be very convenient) since there is no dishwasher. Judging from the pictures we also thought there would be a much bigger outdoors/private space or a backyard for the baby to play. Missing fire pit for that “cabin feel”.

We had a wonderful stay. Owners are very nice, accessible, and helpful ... but they stay out of the way unless you contact them. This cottage/cabin was just perfect for our needs. The design/decor is really nice.

Cute cottage, coffee, snacks were a nice surprise. Only downfall was no window coverings in front room, circuits blew when trying to use air fryer and hot plate, beds, couch were really soft.

A beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean cottage. The hosts are very nice and respond quickly to any questions. My grandsons were also impressed with the accommodations and one of them didn't want to leave on our last day.

The little cottage was charming, and the hosts could not have been more helpful and welcoming! Nearby parks and cute towns for lunch and dinner made it perfect.

A Slice of Heaven
This small, but perfectly lovely accommodation feels like it is in the woods. The air is clean, the trees beautiful. A picnic table beckons you to take your meals outside. The bed is very comfortable, and the host is a honey with 3 wonderful children that you can see (not hear) climbing trees and exploring the natural terrain. One small suggestion: A dish rak to protect the beautiful wooden counters from wet dishes!
