About this apartment rental
Very comfortable, private studio just three blocks to downtown Louisville downtown restaurants and parks. Peaceful and quiet location ideal for one person or a couple. There is a great outside patio to hang out with a mountain view in a state that has over 300 days of sunshine a year.
Please follow along with the pictures to go from finding the front of the house to park at the end of the alley to the south on Hutchinson near the old buildings. Then make your way down the alley to the back gate.
There is a great outside patio to eat breakfast or hang out, full bath, refrigerator, microwave, utensils, plates, cups, tea pot and a coffee pot. There are many amazing restaurants very close by for pick up and delivery but there is not a kitchen in the unit.
Louisville consistently makes many top places to live lists in the USA for good reason. It is ranked year after year #1 or as a top 5 city by sites like CNN, Livibility and Money.
Louisville places a great emphasis on providing amenities that support the healthy, outdoor lifestyle that Colorado is so famous for nationally. Louisville has extensive bike and walk paths that provide exercise opportunities in open space.
What attracts many people to Louisville is the small-town charm. It's one of the few towns in Colorado that still has a Main Street (3 blocks away) lined with historic architecture, a wide variety of small businesses, shops, locally-owned restaurants and many gems like Moxie Bakery which has been twice nominated for the prestigious James Beard Award.
Boulder County is an outdoor paradise with an abundance of parks and open spaces, such as the new Louisville Community Park and its adjacent trails, the par-72 Coal Creek Golf Course and the 1,700-plus acres of city-owned open space.
Louisville is surrounded by convenience. Residents have quick and easy access to collegiate and professional sporting events, arts, music, theater, festivals, mountains and a host of culturally diverse activities. Though we are just 20 miles from all of the action in Denver and just six miles from the hip college mecca of Boulder, people here talk about their hometown like it's a refuge, not a suburb.
This being the most prime location in Front Range Colorado, great skiing, hiking and rock climbing are no more than an hour's drive west.
Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most beautiful places on earth and it is just an hour drive from Louisville.
Winter in Rocky Mountain National Park is truly a winter wonderland. Picture the most beautiful place you can imagine, and fill it with snow-covered mountain peaks, glistening snow on the valley floor, frozen waterfalls, and snow-dusted wildlife at dusk; that is a tiny glimpse of the Rockies in winter. It is a magical time of year.
One of the biggest benefits of visiting Rocky Mountain in the winter is the lack of crowds. Visitation in December, January, February and March combined is half of the visitation in July alone. You have so many opportunities to experience tranquility during this rejuvenating time of year, and you’ll be able to explore the park in ways that most only dream of.
Since most of the trails are covered in snow during the winter, this is a great opportunity to try a new hobby: snowshoeing! Tours and day snowshoe adventures are available throughout the winter. These tours take you to alpine lakes, where you’ll gaze at majestic snow-covered peaks in the distance. Appropriate gear, snowshoes, snacks and an expert guide are all provided. Snowshoes are also available for rental in Boulder, Estes Park, and Grand Lake.
Also, just 50 minutes away from Louisville is the the Eldora Nordic Center. Eldora has great downhill skiing plus 40 kilometers of trails for classic and skate style skiing, a full rental service and various instructional opportunities. The Nordic Center offers something for snow lovers of every kind. Enjoy Colorado’s most exciting groomed Nordic terrain and beauty of the great outdoors at your own pace. Adventure guaranteed.
Louisville loves the holiday season and the whole town is a Christmas light wonderland. In addition to the entire town turning out for their own parade of lights, 303 magazine voted the Louisville ice rink one of the top five in Colorado. Louisville with full access to the Colorado front range are a great place to visit in the wintertime.

This place was perfect for my needs. It was clean, comfortable and I felt safe. I will rent this studio again on my next trip to the area.

I stayed in this lovely studio while getting my son moved in to CU Boulder. The unit is exactly as described. The space was perfect for just me. Modern bathroom; extremely comfortable bed, nice selection of morning teas. Very easy walk to downtown with so many wonderful places to eat and drink. Would definitely book again.

I stayed with my husband for a quick stay. The studio space was very clean, the owner Petra was quick to communicate with. The location is great, between Boulder and Golden and Louisville is also a nice town. Easy to walk to the downtown.

I enjoyed spending some time at this property. Totally quiet and peaceful (there is an owl somewhere in the trees) yet only 3 blocks from downtown Louisville. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the huge private deck, sometimes watching the sun come up through the trees. The interior is up-to-date, spacious, and modern. Great shower! The owner provided all the necessary amenities, including a wide selection of coffees and teas. Thank you!

We spent two nights in this lovely apartment in a charming neighborhood. Walking distance to a fun downtown and easy access to Boulder and surrounding areas. The apartment is clean, contemporary, with a very comfy bed and good shower! Thank you Petra for your easy communication as well.

Did not receive a response from the host about a minor question while checking in. Several dirty cups left in the unit, however overall the rest was clean and as pictured. They made sure the steps were cleared of snow after overnight snowfall, which was appreciated.

The place was perfect for our 3 days in Louisville! Very clean and cozy! Would like a reccomendation sheet for restaurants and activities (so much to choose from, a local perspective would be nice). Overall a great place to stay and would highly recommend!

Just as advertised. Great little 1 bed, 1 bathroom, loft above a detached garage. Fridge and microwave if needed. Beautiful garden, nice little deck. Just a couple blocks from downtown Louisville and some great eating. As many have recommended, Moxie Bread Co is super close and offers delicious breakfast. Lots of other places for dinner.
Overall locale is perfect. 15 min from downtown Boulder or Denver (depending on traffic). Lots of parks near by as well gateways into the Rockies.
Directions on how to get in and park are very exact. No issue at all with any of it. Quick easy communication with Hosts.
Definitely recommend for those looking for the same.

Our apartment had everything we needed and was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Great shower. We loved the convenience of walking through this neighborhood to Main Street for meals. Louisville is a lovely community to explore and we appreciated being able to walk rather than depend on our vehicle. The owner is helpful and quickly available via text.

As our first time in Colorado, my husband and I bopped around between Boulder and Denver and we’re very pleased that we chose Louisville and this specific stay as our home base. It was clean, simple, easy to get to and exactly what we needed. Petra was responsive and a wonderful host. Highly recommend!

Host was very nice and welcoming. The place was neat and quiet. Great neighborhood. Would have liked a little more space, but it was good for two nights. Loved moxie for breakfast.

It is a cute spot and I loved the simple clean lines inside. Whiet walls, natural wood ceilings, great use of a small space which could easily become cluttered. There is also a nice deck for sunny days.
I did not meet my hosts but Petra was amazingly responsive and was emailing from overseas. She clearly wanted the best for her guests. her husband helped me through some glitches. Good people.
Extremely clean, well equipped

We loved our stay at Petra’s place! Louisville is quite a charming town and this was the perfect space for the two of us to relax and recharge after busy days of sightseeing and hiking in Boulder. We found the studio to be perfect for a couple - very cozy and romantic. :) The neighborhood is picturesque and we hope to visit again soon!

Very clean private cute spot for one or two.
Great communication… Very clean and owners were very clear on expectations and rules and stayed out of the way… My only complaint is the air conditioning when hot barely suffices for the room. I would hesitate staying there again if it was over 95° but other than that it’s really a wonderful place and the owners are great

Studio apartment with great access to downtown
First, the location is incredible and the check in process was easy. Once we figured out the back gate as opposed to entering through the front rocky entrance, coming and going was easy.
It is worth noting that this is actually a one room studio. Some images of the posting are a bit misleading, as the bed is removed from the space for the image of the couch and vice versa. It is a one room studio, with a foot or so between the bed and the couch.
The outdoor space is also quite nice, albeit not super private.

Nice studio apartment
This over the garage apartment had everything I needed for my visit to Louisville. Very clean and stocked with essentials. They even had coffee and tea, unlike most vrobos. Not having a fill kitchen was no problem. MW and refrigerator were sufficient. They kindly shoveled snow daily for me to walk out to alley to catch my ride. Very quiet which is important to me.
