The location was perfect for ski in/ski out! We loved the cozy home and enjoyed our week with the family! We had plenty space to spread out and perfect place to play beside the condo in the snow with the little ones. We had a couple of items that the local staff helped with quickly, but the home was clean and we were very satisfied!!! Would certainly stay here again.

Great floor plan. Love that all bedrooms have private bath and are in opposite corners. Living spaces well planned out. Great stock of games/puzzles/decks of cards. Well stocked kitchen. Great space overall.
Access to ski trail was a little walk and tricky for our new skiers, but manageable. Would have preferred to have more keys available. We only had two working keys and were denied additional when requested. With 4 adults and different schedules more keys would have been appreciated.
Overall great stay, would recommend and stay again.

overall it's a great value accomodation for a ski vacation. Shuttle is right by the house. You also have option "ski in/out" if you would like to walk a few minutes. It would be nicer if the check in/out guidance can be more clear.

We just returned from a week here. Here are the Pros: It is pretty much as pictured - clean (kudos to housekeeping), beautifully furnished, comfy, spacious, lots of books and games. Parking is convenient. It's an easy walk to the pool, gym and hot tub. It's a 5 minute drive to the main road to Steamboat and 10 or so minutes to town so a great location. Now the Cons: The condo is pictured as very bright. That is only the case if all the blinds are open - most are broken so we had trouble opening them, making it dark. We finally figured out some, but couldn't get others to work at all. I called management but they could have cared less, and did nothing. With the amount of money this condo costs, the window blinds should work! Other cons -- the door to the bedroom with the bunk beds is partial glass, so if the person in that room goes to sleep before others, light from the main room partially shines in. Also there is no A/C, which would have been nice on super hot days (the fans there did help); there is really no view from the balcony or while in the hot tub; no netflix or other streaming services (only cable); cheap Mr. Coffee coffeemaker which spewed grounds into every pot of coffee (you can't spend a few dollars to get a better model?); no instructions for anything including the TV (with multiple remotes) and appliances; fireplace heats up the place too much. Overall a good place but needs some improvement - esp. the blinds, coffeemaker and needs instructions!

Pros: First let me say that this is a very spacious condo - fit 5 of us quite easily with a well stocked kitchen. Loved the layout, good design. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is a total plus. Having the ski lockers on bottom level is ideal and having an elevator was a huge bonus. The pool & hot tub are right next door, as well as shuttle service. Nice views of the lower mountain with the gondolas going by and night skiing as well.
Cons: It is not truly a ski in/out - there is a bit of a walk to get to the area with a narrow & windy ski out and a walk uphill to return to condo which can be taxing at days end. This would be quite a challenge for the beginner skier. The gas fireplace, though beautiful, is too powerful for the space even when on low - warms up very quickly so can't enjoy the ambience of having a fire unless you open up the windows/door to patio. One of the kitchen cabinets is on 1 hinge and it became quite annoying very quickly as it interfered with closure of other drawers adjacent to that cabinet. Why hasn't this been fixed??? There was no information given to us re: shuttle service and after texting we were told it was on the back of our door - it was not, but we did finally find it on the front door of the building near the ski lockers. It's a shame that this sort of information isn't readily available at time of check in. This condo is way up the mountain, not walkable to Gondola Square at all so you will always need to take a shuttle (limited times) or have a car. We had to get Ubers back to the condo whenever we wanted to dine out. There were 5 of us, but we were only given 4 key cards which was a bit of a hassle. We were told we could not get an additional card, well why not?? Our ski bag and 1 luggage bag did not make it on our flight. Our airline told us that they would be delivered the next day. Unfortunately Vacasa must not have an office for our luggage to be delivered to during day time hours or doesn't care to provide this service, which was a total hassle. Because of this, we didn't rent ski gear as we had to be present to get delivery of our luggage therefore missing a day of skiing . Bottom line here is that Vacasa needs to up their ante here. They would have happier, less frustrating customers if they only put just a bit more into the hospitality of their business. We have rented many a ski condo in CO and Utah over the years and have never had issues like these with property management

The condo was very nice clean, somewhat easy to get to the slopes and convenient. The only downfall was the lack of shuttle service to and from the town the steamboat square area

Ski in / out access & ski locker was great. The unit is nicely decorated with a great view of the slopes. Recommend!

The condo overlooks the pool where kids play unsupervised all day long. Very loud even with the windows closed. Also, the ski area is experiencing a $200 M renovation causing noisy construction even on a Sunday morning . The unit itself was nice - spacious and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen.

Great location. Close to bottom of ski mountain. Not truly a ski in /ski out place, but a short walk across the parking lot will get you to the run that will take you to the gondola. Property management would get a C- for poor property maintenance (missing cabinet doors, broken transom over one of the bedroom doors, spent bulbs and non-operable fan remote) and difficulty in communication(no one to phone, only texting), as well as inefficient check in check out process.

We enjoyed our stay at Chamonix III. The unit is very spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The ski in/out aspect was fine for us but it could be a little tricky for novice skiers or if you are a bit frail. Its a skinny, slick catwalk down to the run and a walk up a 10 foot hill coming back. Highly recommend having your own car since you have to pick up and drop off keys near the base at the far side of gondola square.

We had a blast and the location was perfect. The ski in ski out was so convenient and you are positioned right next to the pool at hot tub. It came with a ski locker to keep all of our items in that was so convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was clean and comfortable for 6 adults. The listing says it sleeps 8, however, 8 adults would feel crowded. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to fix meals if you so choose. The views from the back patio were really nice. You have views of the runs and also night skiing which we thought was cool. The ski in/ski out is a little deceiving as you have a little bit of a walk through a parking lot and when wearing ski boots, that is not real easy. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because the communication with VACASA was less than pleasing. We had issues figuring out the TV situation (there were at least 5 remotes and none were labeled and no instructions in the unit) and the ceiling fan in the living area would not work. We tried calling the number that we had to SEARCH for and it was not the correct number for our unit. After reporting 3 times, we were finally transferred numerous times and given several numbers to try and FINALLY we were connected with someone who contacted a maintenance person who contacted us. Once we were contacted by the maintenance person, he was very helpful. But the process to get to that point was extremely frustrating! VACASA's app was not very helpful either. There was NO information given to us as to how to get to the ski in/ski out area. Once again, we had to SEARCH the unit and finally found a book that had the information we were looking for. The unit itself was great but VACASA's communication - just finding the place - was below par.

The home decor is dated and some lamps didn’t work but generally speaking this place has everything you would want in a ski vacation home: ski in/ski out, right by hot tubs, shuttle service, and a great view!

We had a family of 6 stay for 8 days over spring break. We were originally scheduled for a 6 day stay, but needed to arrive early due to weather affecting travel schedules. Brad was very accommodating in letting us into the property 2 days earlier than originally scheduled. The unit is very nice - the photos accurately depict the condo. For a group of 6 people, it was great to have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen and washer/dryer also added to the experience. We utilized the ski in - ski out access all 6 days that we skied, including during lunch most days. The ski in aspect involves a bit of an uphill walk, but is still generally convenient. The only downside of our stay was that the hot tub was closed for the duration and the pool heater was not working one day. Otherwise, all good.

Everything was great other than not being told the hot tub was goingcto be closed, wasnt real happy about getting asked if I was goingcto leave early either, I didnt ask to come in early and 10 am is a pretty early time as it is, but the accommodations were very nice, and as advertised. I would rent it again, hope this helps. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Beautiful, spotlessly clean and spacious condo. It was perfect for our party of 5 adult skiers. The ski in, ski out access meant everyone could ski as little or as much as they wanted.
