My family and I just spend the past week here. We enjoyed our stay the houses location was nice it was on a channel of the lake our kids enjoyed using the paddle boards. The house had plenty of seating in the living room for the whole family to have a movie night. When we went to use the dishwasher we had to run it a couple times before using cause it had an awful smell coming from it. Also the hot tub was dirty. But overall we enjoyed our stay and will probably stay again in the future.

Great property--lots of room, nice kitchen supplies, nice yard and hot tub. Kids love to fish, this location is ideal.
We love this property,

Boat accessible, quiet spot for a family to get together and disconnect!

The house was very clean, great location. We love the paddle boards and yard games.

Very peaceful & quiet.Inside cleanliness was impecable.outside needs a good powerwash.long term cobwebs, dead bugs on outside of windows & around lights.fantastic hot tub.

This could be a wonderful place but it needs some TLC. Location and size of house is great. The decks are nice and offer a beautiful view but the amount of spider webs on all the furniture outside made them less appealing. The windows were really dirty and also had lots of cobweb in the screens. The hot area could use a good cleaning as well. Inside our biggest dislike was the carpet in the dining and living area. Seeing all those stains automatically made us rethink our decision for picking this place.
I personally will not be staying here again but this place is spacious, and is a waterfront. A good pressure wash on the decks and doing something about that carper would be helpful for making this place nicer.

We had a lovely time at the Granite Shoals house. There were a couple of things that stand out for me:
1. The carpet is worn and very stained. It makes the home appear unclean, even though it was very clean.
2. Please ask for extra info on the available space for your boat, should you bring yours. There’s a 15’ish space. Our boat is 24’. We made it work, but other boats might not fit. There are plenty of lake toys available.
3. The primary bath sink drains very slowly.
4. As owner/renters, we enjoy interacting with our renters, through guestbooks or by signing boat paddles. There was zero owner interaction and it felt like a big disconnect. I understand that they use a management company, but it felt weird.
5. They set up families for lots of fun!! There are games, toys for the lake, canoes, kayaks, etc. The downstairs patio is probably amazing in the spring and fall!!
Thanks for having us!!

Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows. Drawback, the interior stairs, the steps themselves are more narrow than normal. My 78 yr old mnl slipped and daughter slipped. Light fixtures in kitchen & dining room full of cobwebs. Nice house overall though.

Overall we had a great time at this property.
There are a few things that we would have liked to see such as the yard with better maintenance and a cleaner environment overall. The grass desperately needed to be cut and there were several tree's as well that need trimming. The carpet inside the house is significantly stained. I understand with it being a rental property that you wouldn't want the nicest of floors as so many people come in and out but there were an excessive amount of spots in the upstairs living area. We did struggle a bit with having room in the kitchen to place different things that we brought with us as the owners have several locked cabinets. The inside stairs going down are very small and my daughter, who was 20 weeks pregnant at the time, did fall immediately after getting to the property and taking her belongings downstairs. Lastly, in the bunk bed room it was very challenging to get good air flow as the room is small and literally stuffed with beds. I imagine thats an issue with any bunk bed room but maybe re-designing the bed layout might help to prevent such stuffiness. Thank goodness another family member was coming up after and was able to bring a circulating fan for that room.
With those few things aside it was a great spot on a little canal, had plenty of seating at both the kitchen table and in the living room and had a cute lake feel. It's not the most put together of homes when you really start looking at the surrounding properties but not bad for a weekend stay for multiple people.

Enjoyed the quiet, the water activities, the games, the hot tub, walking the neighborhood and seeing deer, and being with family all in one place with room to remote work , sleep and play.

The home was well set up to host guests. We had a great time during our stay.

We loved our stay and enjoyed being right on the lake. We had some trouble getting into the door - the property manager was very quick to respond and got us in without any more delay. The kitchen is a bit sparse on cooking utensils (for what I am used to) so if you plan to do a lot then bring what you need. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are nice and dark if you want to sleep in (and can). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

A/C worked great, everything was well layed out and very clean.

This place was very comfortable for our group of 7 and overall we were satisfied but there were a few glitches . There were only 2dish towels and 4 coffee cups but they responded immediately and had some dropped off! The carpet is in need of cleaning as are the insides of the kitchen cabinets- dirt/food particles. There is really no place to store your food in the kitchen. There is a cabinet but it is locked for owners use? The kitchen is set up more like a camp rather than a rental with a hodgepodge of items strewn about. No decent glasses or wine glasses but two options for coffee pots drip and Kuerig. The patios and use of the canoes were nice but the patios need cleaning.

Very nice, fully loaded with everything we needed

Had some trouble getting the front door code, which delayed us getting in by 45 minutes standing outside in 100 degree weather. Loved the amount of comfortable seating in the living room. Plenty of water toys and lifejackets. Was a nice touch to have beach towels to use also. Definately not a place to be loud or have a party, but very family friendly, which was great for us!

So nice to enjoy the lake with our family. Perfect setting for a relaxing get away to reconnect with family and make memories. Great location that gives you some calmness in the cove for enjoying the water activities without all the many boats zooming by and creating waves. Would love to book again.

If you're looking for a peaceful place to relax, add this gem to your list! The allurement is the downtown stairs outdoor space with plenty of seating, a porch swing, a hammock, a grill, and a hot tub with a view of the tv. And down by the boat dock, there is seating around a fire pit; even though a burn ban was in place, it was great to sit back and stargaze. You'll have access to SUP boards, a canoe, and a kayak.
The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The dining room table was big enough for card games. And the living room has plenty of sofas and chairs to gather for movie night.
I was working from 'home' on day four, and the internet went out. I was in a panic! The property manager was super helpful, keeping me informed as a fiber optic line was cut, and most of the area was without service. Jennifer is the best!

Beautiful!
Lovely location on the lake with all the amenities you could ask for, including a canoe, a kayak, two paddle boards for kids and one for adults. Big oak trees provide great shade and the perfect place to watch squirrels and listen to birds. Updated kitchen and open floor plan made for great family get together.

Disappointed
The home was beautiful but the kitchen was super tiny. The main disappointment was the view. The trees were overgrown and there was 0 view of the lake. The only way to even see the lake was to sit completely sideways and look across the neighbor's yard past their boat shed or to go down and sit right next to the water.

I grew up in the area and wanted a place to bring my family for a visit. The house was as promised and had everything we needed. The amenities out back are superb! Can’t wait to stay here again.

Went on a weekend with six of us and had a great time. The house is airy and light with very comfy seating in the living room, a well-stocked kitchen and beautiful view of an inlet off the Colorado River. There are upstairs and downstairs decks. There were kayaks, canoes and a paddle boat. The beds were all very comfortable. Would love to go back again.
