I was intrigued by the pics in the listing, but was disappointed in everything. There were cobwebs on the walls, ceiling, and bathroom complete with live spiders and centipedes. The gap inbetween the garage door probably didn't help with the bugs, but the amount of things that were overlooked was disgusting. The buildup of dust had to have taken weeks, and I would be embarrassed to let someone in my home if it looked like that let alone rent it out to anyone. Vents were caked with dust and the air conditioning unit was too. There is no way that this place has ever been professionally cleaned ever and it's insulting to charge a $100 cleaning fee.

Pictures are a good representation of this studio, and it provided a comfortable place to stay for a few days with my daughter as we explored the area. Communication was easy. Thanks for a nice stay.

Hi yes the listing completely at the end says the pool area is available from noon to 6pm only but the tittle of the listing puts to much attention to it that you think it’s available at al times .
A lot of broken things in the apartment you need to note everything and take pictures to make sure you are not charged for it . Air condition extremely noisy and hard to sleep with it leaving it on .
Bed not confortable at all. And the place was not very clean a lot of dust everywhere
Location was Great

The space suited our party of 3 nicely. It was clean with all of the usual amenities supplied. You may get some noise from outside, birds and an occasional passing car. It wasn't a big deal. Centrally located for our destinations.

If you need a place to stay for the weekend in Los Angeles I recommend this place. Host was really good with communication. Enjoyed my stay for a few days here.

We had a lovely time staying here. Our host was very friendly and took care of us like family. The pool and deck are great and the guest space is very nice. The goose and chicken are my favorite part. Property is very close to Dodger stadium I just wish the team was in town while we were there. I would definitely stay here again

We had a great time staying here, the place was just like the listing and we were so happy to arrive and have such a cute place for our visit. Pool was amazing, views were great. Hosts were perfect!

Enjoyed a great stay near Dodger stadium while my son and I went to a couple of games. Scenic location above the city and very quiet neighborhood made it a nice place to sleep. Pool and deck area are beautiful and fun.

My husband and I visited LA and stayed at the Hilltop Guest Suite for the weekend. The space was set up and decorated in a cool way, and the location was great (though prepare for a windy drive up the hill).
The property owners live upstairs and while they completely respected our privacy, I will note that their deck is directly above the rental space and voices/dogs can very easily be heard from below. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay! We really appreciated the selection of records and comfortable bed.
Thanks for having us, Ricardo!

This place was very interesting and comfortable! The deck is gorgeous and the view is amazing. There is a taxidermy goose hanging above the bed, which was a bit alarming and I do not recommend if you have a fear of birds. Over all I had a very nice stay!

This property had unusual decor, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. We were unable to use the deck and pool and never met our hosts. The unit had a small refrigerator and freezer and small microwave. However there were no dishes, bowls, cups or utensils and only a small number of paper plates, paper cups and plastic forks and knives. There is no real kitchen, and only a small countertop and two stools. There was a serious housefly infestation. Because this is a converted garage under the house we heard footsteps overhead every night well past midnight.

I loved all of the art inside the place, it was very fun to explore! the goose was freaky in a good way. Amazing view and space by the pool as well!

I recently stayed at this property and had a great experience. The stay was easy and hassle-free, and the neighborhood was really nice. The property itself was incredibly clean and well-maintained, and I couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. Overall, I highly recommend this space!

Came in for an extended weekend to attend the Besame Mucho festival. Hosts were wonderful. Enjoyed staying near everything. Great views for days! Quiet neighborhood close to everything. We didn't have time to enjoy the deck or pool during our stay but other accommodations were fabulous. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We really couldn't have asked for a beter place to stay to enjoy Elton John's final show at Dodger Stadium. Not only is this private garage studio within a short drive, it is full of cool things that scream "LA Music Scene" - LPs, surfboard, tiki bar, collector's posters, rock photography - and you're welcome to access the hip pool deck with incredible views of the hills and beyond. Safe neighborhood. Comfy bed. You can hear some "walking noises" (humans and pets) from the upstairs occupants but it's not excessive and it's nothing that a pair of earplugs at night can't fix. We would definitely return.

Our experience in this place was not good. Not just due to the small things (like never receiving the entry code and finding ourselves in the car parked out front, waiting for the hosts to reply), but the big things: this is a garage. Not exaggerating. It's literally a garage that's been converted into a kind of man-cave. Which is kind of fine except that it means: no natural light at all, heated via a tiny electric space heater and a chest full of blankets, incredibly loud sound when the owner turns on their car, which is parked right on the other side of the "wall," and, worst of all, you can hear EVERYTHING upstairs. The owners were watching TV, laughing, chatting late into the night, which is 100% fine, except that when you're in the garage, right underneath, with no soundproofing that a normal "room" would have between floors, you can hear everything. And whenever they flush their toilet up there...woooosh, it will wake you up for sure. They didn't even have glasses...just plastic cups. Plastic knives and forks. No hangers to be found anywhere, to hang a shirt from. Oh...and last and not not least: the listing shows photos of a pool. Well: guests are allowed to use the pool only between 12 and 6pm (who is visiting LA for a few days and is at their "hotel" between 12 to 6?) AND guests must send a message to the hosts ahead of time, giving them a "heads up," so that they can clean up their stuff. Do you feel welcome and comfortable using the deck and pool? Didn't think so.
Summary: I would pay $50/night to stay here, maybe. Back when I was 24 years old.

We had a great time on this property! The space was clean and gorgeous. Only issue was delayed communication from the property owner and the pool was not cleaned before we arrived. Everything else was wonderful!

Loved every second of the stay at the property, owners are super sweet and respond fast. Perfect place for a first time trip to Los Angeles. Big plus that it was less than 10 minutes away from the dodgers stadium!

Glassell Park Stay MAY 2022
Very clean and nice property, just wish the pool hours were later than listed since it would have been nice to relax poolside right before bed later at night and to enjoy the views at night as well. We enjoyed our stay, except the first night when we heard every footstep and some dogs barking and that was the night we needed best sleep- due to having early USC Graduation to attend on Friday, 13 May 2022. Also, just a suggestion to have some water bottles stocked in the small fridge for guests when they arrive. Other than that, we truly enjoyed ourselves and the theme of the place was very cool/ Old Hollywood style and the vinyl was nice touch as well (although we didn’t use the record player at all) - still a very cool vibe and lovely neighborhood with amazing view from the top.
