We stayed with friends and 3 young children between us. Adrian and Jenna were such kind and generous hosts. The house was perfect for our families - lots of space and so convenient for all the amenities Ashburton has to offer, as well as local excursions. We had a great stay!

Really enjoyed our stay! Ample space, location was ideal for a large group. Definitely recommend staying if your looking for period features and history!
Thank you Adrian for making this a memorable experience!

We really enjoyed the accommodation. There were plenty of rooms for entertaining and lots of pots/pans/cutlery/utensils in the kitchen for cooking which many self-catered properties don't have. The bubble bath was lovely and the bath salts from Poland provided were a nice touch. The hosts (Adrian and Jenna) were very helpful and allowed us to check-in early which we appreciated with our 10-month old twins. The only thing we found to be a bit of a pain was the lack of parking outside the accommodation - we had to park in a long-stay car park which was a 5min walk away. This probably isn't a problem for about 95% of guests staying at the accommodation but when unpacking/packing for our twins and one dog it was a bit challenging, and we didn't realise this would be the case until check-in. Other than that, it was a really good stay!

This is a beautiful property fitting with high quality antiques, finishes and equipment. A little quirky so you will find yourself doing lots of steps and occasionally a little lost until you get used to it.
Weather wasnt great for our weekend reuntion of Uni friends but as the house is so big and well equiped it it the ideal spot to find a corner to sit in to read etc.
Adrian was very attentive to us and is a very welcoming and kind host.

We had a Wonderful stay at The Meeting House. It lived up to it's name as we had family staying from France, Zimbabwe and Saudi Arabia - a wonderful reunion after 3years. All meeting again to spend much needed family time amongst the busy arrangements for our son's wedding which was being held locally.
The Meeting House had all we needed, clean brilliantly equipped kitchen that had absolutely everything we needed.
Wonderfully comfortable beds, alongside ample hot water for showers and the favourite jacuzzi bath.
The house held a warmth to it that was so enjoyed by us all - the perfect environment for all the reconnections.
Situated within a couple of minutes walk to wonderful shops/cafes/restaurants and everything you need, or think you may need - it is in the perfect location to ignore the car if you are needing a complete switch off. Dartmoor is just a moment away in the car for those wanting a little more adventure.
We would absolutely recommend The Meeting House, Adrian and Jenna were so welcoming and helpful for our stay - Thank you again :-)
