The property was very stylish, clean and comfortable. The hosts, Charlie and Lou were amazing. They went out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfasts, were delicious, especially the homemade cakes and granola, such a treat. Charlie opens the poolside bar at 6 -8pm, he makes delicious cocktails, is very knowledgeable about the good wine he serves and always gives you yummy snacks, his homemade curry pickled courgettes were delicious!! The atmosphere around the bar is alway fun and it’s nice to catch up with the other guests and discuss our days and recommendations. They have a selection of great bikes to hire and have some fab suggestions of various local rides, including cycling through the local rice fields to the old fisherman huts. Would 100% recommend, we will certainly return. Easy walking distance to Comporta village and the stunning beach.

Perfect place to stay for several days in Comporta.

Gorgeously designed and decorated property with everything a traveler needs: a comfy bed, strong wifi, great amenities, coffee, snacks, and a wonderful breakfast. Well located close to many restaurants and shops and only a short car trip to several beaches. Lou and Charlie are gracious, caring hosts with a lot of great recommendations.

It was in such a cute little town in Comporta, walking distance to the main beach and all the little restaurants! It was such a cute spot and owned by the sweetest couple. We felt very safe and clean and LOVED our time here! Everything was so aesthetically cute and we can't wait to one day visit again for longer!

Stylish and comfortable hotel with a great breakfast

Lovely little bed and breakfast which is incredibly stylish and comfortable. The hosts were super friendly and helpful, and we were just a walk away from some restaurants and shops. I loved the breakfast!

A very pleasurable experience.

The young proprietors were very welcoming and ready to help in any way they could. The breakfast was exceptionally good and we particularly appreciated that they supplied sourdough bread for my son who is allergic to yeast. The property was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated throughout.

The only thing I didn’t like was having to leave at the end of the visit, I felt so at home and comfortable at Casa Idalia.

Cosy boutique hotel to relax in Comporta

Lou and Charlie run this very beautiful boutique hotel like place which they renovated and furnished themselves with excellent taste. They are super nice hosts with helpful recommendations and made our stay very pleasant. On reviendra !

Charlie and Lou were amazing host for our first time in Comporta and really made our trip stand out! The decor was A+, the room was very comfortable and they had all the amenities we needed for an enjoyable time. The location was also an A+, we were able to walk to town for dinner. Charlie and Lou had some fantastic recommendations for places to eat, which was perfect for us, they definitely shared in our taste for a great meal. This has been a short trip for us, but definitely one we won't forget, we most certainly will be back! Thank you again for an incredible time!

Great space , nice breakfast , welcoming hosts, good tips for closeby restaurants

Would be nice if bikes could have been included. A little desk in the room for people working would have been nice.

that the bathroom was separated from the bedroom, it was not an en-suite and that was not clear when we booked.
