Disappointing

Location

We stayed in room 4 ( double room with shared bathroom). There was black mold on the walls, green mold on the bamboocloset. All our clothes were full of this mold when we left. We also had several insectbites after leaving. One of the staffmembers was very unfriendly because we arrived at 1:30am eventhough they approved this on booking. He gaves us various comments about this during our stay. We didn't get any explanation about anything (breakfast, how to sign up for activities, getting in and out of the hostel).. The breakfast was supposed to be included. When we arrived they said breakfast isn't included and it's a fault of booking. They could've let us know at the moment we booked the room. There were also no towels as mentioned on booking. It's a shame because we were really looking foward to our stay here. We usually love staying at hostels.

Nice place with friendly people

The host, Mohammed, was very friendly. The communal areas are nice to hang out in, there is a rooftop terrace and an area inside.

The room was basic but had everything we needed.

Highly recommend, great staff, good conditions, location is acceptable

The common area is very comfortable and nice to be. Terrace is awesome. Staff super accommodating

Nice quick stop in Taghazout

Great hostel, the staff was very welcoming. In the higher part of Taghazout, walking distance from everything.

Poor breakfast, bathroom quite inconvenient in the double room as there is no separation with the toilet and the shower

Love this place a little gem!

A beautiful little find. Me and my partner needed a bit of winter sun and to catch some waves, and Taghazout didn't disappoint! The hostel is perfectly situated and has a 5 minute walk to the beach and many food places and stalls for everything you need. You can hire boards and wetsuits on way down to the beach, many to choose from. 2 pharmacies literally a minute away! The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you! Such polite and helpful young men. Really work hard to make the place a special one to stay! The bed was really comfortable and huge! Lovely big showers and the rooftop is pretty special! The only thing I would say is that we felt very old staying there as its very young person oriented. Me and my partner still think we are in our 20's, However, we were left alone as we wanted "us time" and made very welcome when we did mingle and asked any questions. Very clean for a hostel. Lovely rooms and places to chill. We will definitely be staying again! We absolutely loved the place. Thank you 😊

Propreté et douche fonctionne impeccable

Chambre sans vitre à la fenêtre donc assez bruillant. Et lumière extérieure qui se declenche à chaque passage dans l'escalier laissant entrer la lumière dans la chambre.

good rooftop and close to the beach

no breakfast included as advertised, most of the water tap were broken toilets and showers stunk the room we were given had no window no nothing at 35 C degree

get to know other surfers in the town!

very friendly stuff always happy to help! tasty breakfasts. the atmosphere was super chill!

if you are looking for cheap hostel to know other surfers is the perfect spot. less recommended for the romantic trip :)

The hostel is very nice. The people working there are nice as well, I had a good time there.

I had an early flight that I missed as their taxi driver didn't show up, and there are no other taxi that early.

Great rooftop views and amazing breakfast

The room was not ready even when 2,5 hours already passed after the check-in. The room was dark small 'casket' - no windows. There was always noise from the other rooms, but I get it, it's a hostel. The room smelled like chlor because of the cleaning solutions. The staff told us wrong hours of breakfast so I missed my breakfast the first morning.

Lovely place to stay during your surf trip!

We've met amazing people during our stay at Happy Surf Hostel. The hosts are also very friendly, each morning they will prepare a typical Moroccan breakfast. The beds are also really comfy!

Rooms can be a bit noisy, but get yourself a pair of earplugs and you will sleep like a baby!

Super chill hostel, great terrace and communal areas, breakfast together with everyone is nice, staff are excellent and friendly, cute cats to play with,

This hostel was SO noisy, the doors make so much noise, and everything echoes up the concrete staircase. We stayed in a private room which had a window with no actual window, just a hole, onto the bathroom area so no sound barrier both ways so absolutely no privacy. Also stayed in the dorm and just as noisy.

Typical surf hostel in Tagazhout with mediocre facilities.

The breakfast was inclusive and was very good to fill up on. The hostel, like many hostels in Tagazhout, follows the same structure where the terrace is the main area to socialize with other guests, and this particular terrace was spacious and comfortable.

The booking was handled extremely poorly as the staff overbooked our stay and had to scramble to find us two beds available. Also it was difficult to contact the staff throughout the day for any questions as they went AWOL from the facility. Also did not like how they tried to charge money for having a towel for the shower.

Great surfhouse in tagazhout!

Everything is perfect, cleanest place ever. Breakfast is really nice, and from the terrace you can see Panorama surf spot. But the best things are the guys working there every day to make sure everything is perfect, I didn't plan to stay that long and they made extra room for me, in the typical Moroccan spirit. See you really soon, my friends ♥️

A friendly surf orientated hostel with great staff and a big welcome.

Breakfast had coffee, juice, fruit, fresh baguette, jam, honey and a fresh omelette.

Surf and relax

Rida and Muhammed were amazing hosts! The common room, where you also share your breakfast with the other guests, and the terrace are super comfortable. They also have lovely cats and give great advice for surf shops and trips in and around Taghazout.

The bathroom and entrance smell a bit damp, but we were barely in our room.
