We liked the location and availability.
We weren’t given much information when we checked in. Though it was raining, not much information was given regarding the amenities either. The pools with cover were decent though all over pools were very dirty.
The communal kitchen had a table with old chairs and beat up sofas with some type of covers.

Nothing is good in this place
The facility does not have thermal waters, it has a pool with green water and a number of fountain like spaces with warm water that is not circulating with natural thermal waters. The attendant offered to open a faucet to get one of these concrete fountains full with water that is deposited in a tank. The entire facility has canals fill with felty water and ducks walking in the murky and muddy still water. The rooms are humid and with mildew. This is not a spring water place. they are deceiving the people.

The surroundings are very nice, the hotel is embeded within wonderful nature, the location is exceptional.
Good size room
Away from main road, but still within walking distance.
Terrible criteria from the management in regards to noise control:
- Loud roof banging with the wind at night.
- Carpenter work right next to my room, on weekends at 6.30am (cutting wood).
- Electrical work on Saturday evening (routine work).
- Neighboring room partying late at night.
Other things
- No electric outlets next to bed
- Ligth swith away from bed
- Very small TV
3.5
Community kitchen a nice idea, but not well cared for and no published and posted rules on use…
Dirty towels provided as clean. Totally no one who spoke English running the place. Springs were not flowing but required staff, when they could be found, to fill the pools. Overrun with small children which gives me pause considering what I consider poor hygiene maintenance. pools not more than 129 degrees immediately after initial fill.
Room #6 was not properly cleaned. pubic or body hairs in the shower, dirty towels (hopefully by mistake) provided, total lack of proper lighting, clumsy entry design, no decoration of any kind en-suite. Staff had no functional English skills and were quite sullen. Was inexpensive but barely worth the charge.

The rooms were very big and clean. We also liked the general area with the kitchen and the termal bath. The hotel is nicely situated, near the town and near some of the hikes you can so in el valle. Also, the price was in the range we normally paid in Panama for a double room.
We read in the other comments, that the pools are under construction. I think when the area is finished, it will be very nice for future guests. For now, the hotel should inform the guests that they are under construction to not disappoint them and to avoid the bad reviews. For us it was okay, since we expected it like that.

Soaking in the thermal pool in the morning was great. The grounds were big and spacious and peaceful. We could walk to town, or very close, around the corner was a small store for snacks.
My sister loved the covered kitchen and outdoor eating/sitting area for breakfast in the morning.
We were there in the slow season so they were doing alot of construction for expansion. The work was not a problem but they had all there concentration there, so the pool was not totally full or clean so we could not use it.

quiet and clean. great for family trips.
the kitchen could be a bit better and food options are very limited.

- love the thermal baths
- it's work In progress

The rooms were air conditioned and the thermal springs were comfortable for the family. The bikes were available for use although we didn't have enough time to take advantage of the option. The location is easy to find as there are several signs along the route to point you in the right direction. There is a spot to grill out with food from the local Rey Supermarket.
The grounds were not in good condition. The pond was stagnant and full of leaves and insects so I would not want to use the kayak for fear of medical emergency caused by bacteria. The climbing area was roped off. The pool with slides was dirty with fish in it. The hotel has construction crews building a new addition so it detracts from the beautiful mountain scenery. There was no credit card payment option only cash.

The resort is still under construction!
the rooms have no window!
the resort is more like a hostel than a Spa

Decent, clean room. Reasonably priced.
No breakfast. Padlock on the gate on arrival.
