The bathroom was filthy, there was hair in the shower and the bathrooms smelt terrible.
The floors were dirty and hadn't been cleaned, under the beds hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned.
The lights above the bed were broken and hanging off the wall by the cord.
The windows weren't able to be left open at night as they could be pulled open from the outside as there were no safety or security latches on them.
We had children with us and i had to wipe down all the surfaces with disinfectant Wipes and we put them Strait to bed as I didn't want them playing in such an unclean, unhygenic and dangerous environment. We couldn't get out of there fast enough and ended up leaving at 5am!

Location, close to the river for fishing
- fridge wasn’t cleaned properly from the previous guest and had dirty dishes inside
- mould on the tiles in shower
- lack of pillows
- aircon didn’t work properly
- room was far from clean, and there was blood on the sheet we were sleeping on making it appear like it hadn’t been replaced

The welcome by Nathan, the location and the Bistro
The shower nozzle was difficult to change the water flow

It was clean, spacious, complete with amenities, close to beach, IGA, Dominos, and a Catholic church (bonus)! The kids enjoyed the pool.
The washing machine was filled with worn out, washed rugs which may have been forgotten by cleaners to take out. I did one load thereafter which were full of white lints.

EXCELLENT LOCATION!!!!!!!!
Maybe to serve a light breakfast.

Perfect location in the heart of Grafton. Happy and helpful staff. Super clean room
Bed was on casters, and would roll around the room if you weren't careful haha. Aircon was a bit noisy. Otherwise great value for money accommodation.

Great location. Beautiful views of river. Spacious old world motel rooms. Easy walk around city center.
Drunks & yobbo's, smokers. Ancient ensuite. Parking area is not fenced or secure.

great old hotel, reminds me of my childhood
walls paper thin, bring earplugs
8.0 / 10.0
Great location, beautiful views from the family room. So easy to walk across the car park to the hotel and bistro, easy walk into town, easy parking. Heating was great, well equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle and plates, tea and sugar etc (No biscuits), extra pillows and blankets, good shower. Awesome staff.
A few little repairs would help (lights and back sliding door). It is an older property though worth it for views and location.

Location was great. Food and bar staff were very good
The Motel advertises Wifi but it simply doesn't work and as I was in Grafton on business it was extremely disappointing

Great place to stay right on the river, it is out dated but still very comfortable and had everything we needed. Didn't eat there but have heard the food is very good.

The hotel and location is very good - very popular on. Saturday night with the locals. The dining area overlooking the river is excellent.
The rooms are just for somewhere to sleep. Paid a bit more for a room with a balcony, but it was just a standard room.
Grafton is not really a destination for travellers and the limited accommodation is a bit expensive for what you get.

Photo's on website were not what the room looked like.
The room was a lot older and has not been renovated for some time.

old. dated. uncomfortable beds
5.0 / 10.0
The location was great, right on the river on the outskirts of the town centre. Walking distance to cafes and shops
The place was a little run down, some light switches were a bit dodgy, the water pressure wasn't consistent, and there was a bit of dirt and grime.
