This efficient, cute condo was a gem! Views, views, and wow, views! It had everything we needed. Quiet & close to everything North Shore & not a long drive to every thing else. Sea Lodge beach was so private & beautiful. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Great location, excellent view. Stocked with everything you need. Condo could benefit from some bathroom upgrades, was looking a bit rough, but otherwise the place was great. This is a condo for the able bodied - must climb stairs to get to it.

overall a very beautiful location with great views of the ocean from the living room, bedroom and balcony

You really can't beat the view. It's a cute little place. Perfect for me and my husband. We loved our stay and would come back to this condo again in a heartbeat.

It was a beautiful property but I had some issues with Vacasa. The internet stopped working after the first day and we tried to get assistance from the local Vacasa team but they were no help. Finally have three days of not having internet service we were able to get internet but not with the assistance of the local Vacasa team. It just started working on its own. She said it might be the north area that is out of service but I told her that everyone else's internet on the resort is working so that's not the case. Upon arrival the property was not cleaned. There was food crumbs on the dining room chairs and the floors were not cleaned. Vacasa said the pool will not be in working order and they said they would refund a certain amount for loss of amenities but I had to call them and email them and finally they are saying they will mail me a check for 126. I still have not received a refund for the property not being cleaned. The property was beautiful but the management team at Vacasa made this an unpleasant experience.

Such a great stay. Beautiful views. Bed was amazing. We would totally recommend and return!

This is a wonderful unit - The view is amazing! Unforgettable sunrises. Loved the sound of the waves on the barrier reef and watching the tides roll in and out. We hiked down to Sealodge Beach which was a great way to spend a few hours. The location is excellent, and makes a perfect launching point to visit other beaches and restaurants etc. (if you can bear to leave the view). The windows were abundant and clean. The interior is showing a little wear and could use some paint touch up here and there though overall it's extremely clean and fresh in a 'beach cottage' type of way. The patio table and chairs are more for looks than comfort (though I did appreciate they were bistro height for a better view above the rail)... but honestly those are the only negatives I can come up with. Vacasa was amazingly responsive. We asked if there was a shower mat somewhere (the tub was pretty slippery), and by the time we were back from an outing there was a new mat in a package waiting for us outside our door. Highly recommend this unit, and I'd gladly stay with Vacasa again.

We have stayed in this unit many times and it continues to be our favorite. If you don’t like steps, don’t book it. There are 4 flights and 39 steps. Otherwise it’s perfect for a couple. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The kitchen is miniature. Very little counter space and no cupboards available to stock food. But we stay here a few weeks every year and it has not been a problem. The view is what draws us. Shopping is nearby with a fairly good Foodland. There are restaurants nearby as well. Our favorite beach is Tunnels for snorkeling. We love Haena beach for the huge waves in winter. Not really a swimming beach but perfect for walking, reading, and people watching. Another great beach close by is Anini Beach that is protected by a reef. Lazy days and afternoons are spent here reading and going for a dip in the beautiful blue water. The only complaint I have is the bar table and chairs on the deck. They look good in the pictures but they are really pretty useless. They do not work for me. Dump them. Give me some low chairs that wipe dry after a heavy rain. The deck itself is not in great shape. I’m hoping that will change by next year. Otherwise this is a very comfortable unit that we very much enjoy returning to every year.

The view from this condo was amazing. You have to climb to the third floor but it was really worth it. There is plenty of beach gear, an extremely complete kitchen and nice touches all around. The location is great for exploring the north shore of Kauai and we will definitely book again if we are back in the area. This was our first Vacasa stay and it has set the mark high for all others to be measured against.

Absolutely a beautiful view. Great location. Stocked with everything you need including beach gear. Would definitely stay again!

We loved this rental! Lots of stairs, but worth it! Has everything you need, and was safe and quiet.

Our stay at sealodge g9 was all beyond expectation … and this is from the bottom of my heart . The owner is very nice to reply to my request. Very cozy home with the best view. Our beach day was specracular because everything we might need was provided for us to use . From sunblock to beach chairs, boogie board, beach umbrella. The welcome goodies are bonus too .Theres nothing more we could ask for .

This is our first time visiting Kauai and it has been amazing. Sealodge G9 exceeded our expectations. We ended up getting a later flight, so we missed a day here and got in when it was dark. That was disappointing, but waking up to the sun rising from our bed made up for it. The view and breeze from every room was incredible…breathtaking. The roosters crowed every morning, which I didn’t mind at all, because it prevented us from missing the gorgeous sunrises every morning. We took a little hike to the private beach, which I must warn was a little scary for me on the way there, especially because my hands were full. There is just a section with a narrow path with the rocks and ocean below. I felt better on the way back up. seemed less scary. I wouldn't say it was my personal favorite beach, but it may be worth checking out if you don’t want to drive to a beach. I will definitely make this our home away from home again when visiting Kauai.

Overall, the place itself was fantastic. The view was insanely beautiful and it came with a lot of amenities that were fitting for our stay (washing machine, snorkeling gear, towels, beach chairs, etc.).
But getting to the point of why I removed stars, the start of our stay could’ve gone better. We checked in and shortly after unpacking we heard a knock at our door. It was another couple on their honeymoon who had also booked here the same days… We showed each other our reservation confirmations (us through VRBO and them through another popular rental site) and yep, double booked.
We called the local numbers that were provided to us with no luck of getting in touch with anyone. When we finally got ahold of VRBO customer support they told us that our booking was correct and the other couple needed to take it up with their rental service.
Not only was it incredibly awkward for everyone, but I knew how upset I would be if I was in their shoes. They were sooo bummed and there was nothing we could do. Clearly the owner of the condo had double booked the stay since both of us were charged. Finally, 24 hours later I had someone from the local VRBO team reach out to make sure everything was ok… luckily we weren’t in any danger and nothing serious happened because it took that long to get a hold of someone in the area who could help us. They blamed the other rental service and didn’t take any ownership for the issue. We didn’t get a refund or anything. Over an hour of our time was wasted trying to figure it all out upon our arrival… such a buzzkill on our honeymoon.
The place also didn’t provide enough coffee for the amount of days we were there or any body wash but luckily they brought some to us upon request. Also, I will say that not having AC was tough for us, there is a nice breeze if you have all the windows open but the place can get warm at night. They have standing fans but it wasn’t quite enough for us.
Overall, I would be weary of this place after our experience. The view is insane but it comes with a big price tag as you can see.

Amazing views that go on forever
What an amazing place to stay and base camp out of for North shore surfing and hiking or just stay and chill. The sunrises, the sunsets and everything in between are just fabulous! What’s the down side? It is up three flights of stairs and there’s no A/C. I don’t think A/C is needed because there is almost always a breeze blowing 10-15 miles an hour, but if they do stop there’s a ceiling fan and floor fans. It is so worth it!

Epic views and a fantastic home away from home.
Everything about Sealodge G9 was fantastic. The views were epic and falling asleep to the ocean waves every night was magical. Would absolutely recommend.

My wife and I kept reading reviews of this space that said "the pictures don't do it justice," and they were right! You're as ocean-front as you can get here (beach access not available from your doorstep, you take a short trail down from the parking lot). It's absolutely gorgeous here! We enjoyed many sunrises and the sound of waves breaking throughout our stay. The space is perfect for two, and the high ceilings make it feel much more spacious. Plenty of useful kitchen amenities, and the washer/dryer units were very helpful.
The rental is now managed by Vacasa, and they notified us that we had to be relocated for the first two nights of our stay due to fumigation. We were really displeased to be removed from this Sealodge unit, especially because we had to pack/repack/move luggage and groceries from another temporary rental - but we understand the fumigation of the entire building was likely not of their control. Also, be aware that this unit is 3 sets of stairs up above two other units without any elevator access. You'll have to lug your bags up a lot of steps. Lastly, there is minor neighbor noise due to living proximity. We could hear some footsteps and closing of doors beneath us but could not hear voices of casual chatter through the walls.
We will definitely be staying here again if and when we return to Princeville!

This place is wonderful. We were worried about no AC, especially coming from negative temps, but the breeze from the ocean is truly all you need here. Kitchen is great, view is amazing, we wished we could've stayed longer.

Awesome Condo
We have stayed in G9 before and love this unit. The views are awesome. The unit was extremely clean and well furnished. Upgrades have been made since our last stay and we love the changes. The bed was very comfortable and the new sofa was welcome. The unit was well equipped. There was a welcome packet of paper towels, coffee pods, and toilet tissue. We usually stop at Walmart for staples like extra garbage bags, sandwich bags, and shampoo. We pick up some spices and salt and pepper. Things go bad quickly in the humid air. We love this unit for the lovely breezes, view, and privacy. It is on the top floor so there are quite a few stairs going up. My husband and I are in our early 70’s and in good health so the stairs are no problem. Every step is worth the incredible views, ocean breeze, and privacy. Five Stars.

We stayed in this condo for 4 nights and it was perfect. After staying on the south end of the island for a few nights, we were nervous of the lack of air conditioning in this unit, but it was absolutely not necessary. The building is situated so it catches the ocean breezes and is very comfortable. The view is incomparable and we spent a lot of hours just sitting in the breeze staring out at the reef. We appreciated the decor and amenities provided, including a few complimentary dishwasher tablets and laundry pods! Those were unexpected and definitely appreciated. The Sealodge Beach was tricky to find, but it was quiet and provided some great snorkeling for us beginners. We would definitely recommend this condo for a couple looking to get away to a quiet spot!
