Villa Moana Maui (vmmaui) is a $4.7 million luxury home tucked away on a quiet street, right on the beach, but is just blocks from downtown Kihei, allowing you to walk in moments to great restaurants, coffee shops, the gym or yoga studio, a craft cocktail bar or hip local shopping boutiques.
Enjoy staying on a quiet road, somewhat hidden from the easily accessible Kihei town and serenely situated directly on the beach. Fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves, wake up to a symphony of birds, open the expansive sliding glass walls to bring the outside in, enjoy a glass of wine on the large lanai while watching humpback whales splash and play in the ocean.
Entertain friends or host your entire family. Have private spaces as well as large open spaces to gather together. Every amenity is supplied and included complimentary. You will never pay for parking, high-speed internet, movies, laundry, or beach equipment.
This large luxury villa has with 8 bedrooms with 9 beds, a queen sleeper sofa and 6.5 bathrooms. The entire villa will sleep a total of 16 adults in beds; plus we can add a roll-a-way bed (for that teen that refuses to sleep with their sibling any longer) and one or two cribs/playpens if needed. With children as part of the group, we can fit up to 18 guests total. For larger groups we can partner with a nearby licensed luxury rentals to add more bedrooms just steps away.
Blazing fast dedicated internet at 300mbps is all yours; there’s no hotel full of guests to slow down your connection. Wi-Fi is offered throughout the property via a multi-point mesh network.
We’ve made heavenly beds to match our heavenly location. Crisp percale linens cover new luxury firm mattresses with a large assortment of pillows to suite your preference; (down/feather/memory foam/gel/hypo-allergenic). All our linens are ironed, so every sheet and pillowcase is crisp and smooth. It makes for an amazing bed. Each bed has a cotton waffle-weave light blanket topped with a separate mid-weight quilt. Each bedroom has control over its own whisper-quiet air-conditioning.
Our fabulous kitchen has been personally equipped by the owner; a gourmet chef who loves to entertain. High-end German knives and flatware match the professional series cook-top, appliances and all-clad cookware. There is service for 40 in stock.
All the tools to create a craft cocktail are at your fingertips and all the tools to create and serve a multi-course dinner are at the ready. Private chef services are easily available.

This home was amazing! FULLY stocked with towels, and then more towels! Beach towels? Beach Toys? Games (board games)? Pots, pans, dishes? ALL COVERED.
When we had a minor issue (needed a few more blankets) or if a specific item was not available (they purchased us a waffle maker!), Wyatt and Scott were responsive and fully engaged.
We utilized the complimentary concierge services. The grocery orders we placed were purchased in advance and stocked for us. We also requested a private chef and had a meal prepared for one night of our stay.
This is, by far, the most friendly, communicative, and supportive rental on vrbo. Wyatt and Scott bring the true spirit of aloha! home :)

Villa Moana is a beautiful setting with some of the greatest views you will see in a vacation rental. We host our family somewhere in the US every year. This property is without a doubt one of best we’ve experienced. We had the entire property. It was clean and very well stocked. Wyatt was very responsive. I highly recommend it.

We had a family reunion with 17 of us, including babies, surprising my husband for his 70th birthday. We sort of accidentally found this house in Kihei, and it made all the difference in our trip. The large grassy back yard, the sea turtles at sunset, the nearby coffee shops, the well-supplied kitchen, and the lovely authentic town of Kihei all made this our best trip ever. It is convenient to harbours, a pineapple farm, the Te Au Moana luau, and the road to Hana as well as other hikes.
We used and needed all 3 spaces in the home, and it had everything we needed. There was room for parking all 4 rental cars. Thank you, Mr. Sharpley!

Our family of 20 were able to stay the whole week together to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.
It was perfect. Time to relax, time to play on the beach, time to explore the cute town of Kihea.
The house was beautiful and very conducive to both big fun gatherings and also private spaces.
There were lots of fun yard games and the chairs for the beach were very nice with "backpack straps".
Wyatt helped us in so many ways and was so attentive to our needs and questions. Couldn't ask for better!!!
Note to future visitors! Go out early when the wind is calm for your best beach time- afternoons can get very windy in June. The coral reef is great but plan to use paddleboards or inflatables to rest on since the coral is best viewed quite a ways off the beach where the water gets deep. So awesome to have such a beautiful beach and a coral reef to explore! And of course the turtles every evening were magical- one evening we saw 25!!!

We really loved our stay in Villa Moana. We had a group of 15 people, with ages ranging from 9 to 82, and the house and property were perfect for all of us. We were all able to be together, but also have our own space. Anything that we needed or wanted was at the house, ready for us, and in great condition! Wyatt went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect vacation. He was very communicative and helpful, especially with coordination before our stay.
We loved our location on Maui, the ocean views were beautiful. The family of chickens that wandered the property and the turtles that nested on the beach every night were also a fun bonus!

If I could give our stay more than 5 stars, I certainly would. This property has every modern convenience plus more! The location was beautiful with the water right behind the house, nightly turtle sightings, all the beach supplies you would need, and the peace and tranquility that comes with staying in Maui. Wyatt was a great communicator before, during, and after our stay. We would definitely consider renting again if staying on this side of the island.

Our stay was fantastic we did get nervous with the fires a couple weeks prior to our stay but Candace with the concierge service did an excellent job scheduling everything we wanted to do! With our large family the house allowed everyone to have there own space. The views were absolutely wonderful. The beach did have a lot of coral but the kids loved the sea turtles coming up every night. Wyatt was prompt answering all of our questions and accommodating anything we needed even on the weekend and holiday. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday gift from my children.

Wow, words cannot describe this Maui paradise. I booked this place for a post Covid family vacation. Our three grown sons and their families. Thirteen total. Plenty of room for our family of 13. The place was totally amazing with the best sticker kitchen we have had, the amazing sunsets, amazing sea turtles on the beach every night and amazing bonus goodies and flowers. The location was amazing. It was central to all sides of the island. We did a lot in one week from surf lessons, snorkeling, private hula lessons at tye house, old Lahaina luau, rain forest and vocal tour, sand castles, swimming, and lots of games. This is an amazing paradise largely because of Wyatt. He was very responsive, accommodating and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed We will surely be back. Thank you for helping us create some very special cherished memories

We just had an amazing stay at Villa Moana on Maui!
We were welcomed with a beautiful flower arrangement and two baskets of Hawaiian goodies.
We arrived to an absolutely beautiful, very clean home with the most amazing view. House comes with its own beach!
I have never seen a VRBO so complete with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen had every appliance you could want and more including a wonderful array of spices.
There were 16 of us, and we fit perfectly and comfortably.
We loved having everything from beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, life jackets and even lots of sand toys. There was a big yard that my 8 grandkids played kick ball, croquet and baseball. Even the adults got involved!
We all especially loved the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles who came up each night to rest on the beach only to leave at 5:15 am the next morning. We all enjoyed this daily. What a thrill!
Wyatt has paid every attention and detail into making this an exceptional VRBO. He was prompt in answering any questions we had before our trip, and made sure we knew he was there for us for anything that came up.
We definitely recommend this home on your visit to Maui.

This was the most incredible house to stay in for our big family vacation. Not one detail was missed in what was provided for our comfort and convenience. The quality of the layout, furnishings and what was provided was just excellent. The property manager and team made sure of our comfort. The welcome package was a big plus. This place is amazing. There were ten of us and I rented the entire unit. I loved being in an actual neighborhood vs a resort area. We watched whales breaching and turtles from the backyard. The house was very well stocked. Anything we could think of was already there. Wyatt was helpful answering any questions we had. When I come back to Maui I will definitely try and stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Moana. Every need has been taken into consideration, LOTS of towels (a must in Hawaii), spa robes, high quality bath products, cleaning supplies, beach equipment, etc. etc. etc. It is by far the nicest rental we have ever stayed in. We visited as a large family group for my father's 80th birthday, and it was wonderful. We did early morning paddle boarding, family yoga on the lawn, snorkeling, enjoyed lawn games in the beautiful yard, took long walks on the beach, even got a little tennis in at the nearby park. It is in a very convenient location - close to stores and restaurants. Wyatt was amazing and incredibly responsive to anything we needed and we so appreciated the attention to detail in the house. It was a perfect place - everyone had space to relax and have quiet time (reading, remote work etc) but there were perfect gathering places for our large group to play games, share meals, play music together and make memories. We hope to be back when mom turns 80 in a couple of years! Our 20 something kids are already talking about it! Mahalo and much aloha to Wyatt for making it dad's "most memorable birthday yet!"!

The location was perfect for us ... on the beach and yet quiet. The house was supplied with everything that we needed; and ev everyone had their own separate space. We could not have asked for a more beautiful place for the family to gather.

The property and location were perfect for our gathering, as we had grandparents and two families with one young adult and 4 teenagers between them. The grandparents stayed in the studio suite while one family occupied the upper unit and the other the lower one.
Everyone had their own room. This allowed each person to have his or her own space, but also allowed the family to spend great quality time together. We enjoyed the games, access to the beach and turtle watching, and being close to shops, restaurants, and other amenities.
Wyatt is the perfect host. We can’t say enough about him. He was most gracious, provided virtually everything needed to make for a great stay, and was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The property itself is very clean and the ambience most certainly will put you in a relaxed state of mind.
Overall, our family was able to create fantastic memories and forever will cherish our time at Villa Moana. Thank you Wyatt for your unparalleled hospitality. Our family is most grateful.

Wyatt was incredible during the whole process from booking to check-in. He was extremely open on communication and ensured our stay was incredible - he was extremely helpful and flexible when it came to our check-in and check-out since we had our infant son with us that couldn't miss his nap times. The villa itself is beautiful, the views are stunning to wake up to every morning. The access to the beach to see sea turtles every night was so much fun, the kids absolutely loved it. The villa has everything you need and with separate areas it really helped with insulating sound for when our baby had to sleep. Overall it was a very memorable experience and we'd definitely stay here again next time we're in Maui. Thank you Wyatt!

Villa Moana was the perfect house for our family vacation! We loved the house setup & the house was very clean. It’s on a quiet street but we loved the location. Easy access to beaches, restaurants, coffee shops & other parts of Maui. Wyatt & his team were very accommodating!

BEAUTIFUL HOME WITH BEACH AND SUNSET VIEWS
This home was beautiful and ideal for our family of 17 (11 adults and 6 children, ages 1 to 7). We had plenty of space to be together and plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for privacy.
Our stay was perfect! The house is as described. Plenty of room and clean. Sunsets from the upstairs lanai were spectacular. Wyatt was quick to respond to any request. Everything we wanted was there – extensive kitchen equipment, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling stuff, beach towels, etc.
We will definitely stay here again!!!

Do you want to see and hear the waves lapping at the shore from your generous lanai? You got it. This was a special “splurge” accommodation for my extended family, and it delivered in every way. Starting with clear and responsive communication with our manager (Wyatt), and supportive feedback from the included concierge service-it just got better and better. We will treasure our family memories of gathering around the expansive dining table on the lanai with 180 degree ocean and sunset views. The pictures on the listing are beautiful and accurate, but somehow also don’t capture the magic and majesty of the property! Too many benefits to mention, but included: beach and snorkel gear, a well appointed kitchen (and glassware for a serious party!), flexible living spaces for mixed travel groups (we had the kids and grandparents downstairs, as they all requested), secure parking, lawn games and lounge chairs, a game cupboard that made this board-game fanatic proud, close proximity to grocery stores and yummy restaurants. Let me be clear-we adored this house and tried not to ever leave it because it was so incredible, but the beach in front is best for viewing, due to rocky bottom and sea urchins (hey, they were here first!) we’d recommend a little walk up or down the beach for swimming . This beautiful oceanfront location is not immune to the current challenges of unsheltered people on nearby public beaches (as is the case all over Hawaii). It wasn’t a problem for us, but the more discerning high-end traveler (which we were certainly not) should know this is a residential neighborhood with mixed housing and not a bright and shiny resort area. I’ll take the privacy and location over a resort every time, personally. But in summary, Villa Moana is the stuff of dreams, and if it were in the budget I would be here every. Single. Year. Maybe more. If you’ve lasted this long reading my review, you should book it—you won’t regret it. In fact, you’ll remember this vacation all of your days like me and 14 family members who are sun kissed and smiling right now.

Family Getaway
We had a pretty big family group that flew into Maui for my Dad's surprise 70th birthday. From the moment we booked online this beautiful home everything was smooth sailing. When we arrived to the house Scott was there ready to welcome us. He gave me a tour of the whole property and I kid you not they thought of everything!! We loved the home, we loved the property. We couldn't have picked a better place for our family to stay. Scott and Wyatt went above and beyond our expectations. The only thing that kind of put a damper on our stay was their neighbor. They have a 9pm quiet time and when they say quiet time they mean NO NOISE outside. They have this beautiful deck upstairs that we all loved and the breeze from the ocean was amazing...it was the best setting for our family to visited and catch up. But as soon as 8:45pm came around we were ushering people in the house so that we can close the sliding doors before the neighbor called the cops (which he did on us our first night). Our family doesn't party (alcohol, drugs, etc) we just love to talk, laugh, and sing. We had toddler's/babies and of course they were running around screaming and crying. We did that after 9pm on the deck our first night and the neighbor called the cops and we were asked to check out the next day. Luckily after begging Wyatt and promising him that it won't happen again...he let us continue our stay. After that first night and all that happened we really felt like we had to walk on egg shells so that we wouldn't get kicked out. So quiet time after 9am really means....NO NOISE NO NOTHING outside after 9pm. Other then the neighbor and the no noise after 9pm....Villa Moana Maui is definitely a piece of heaven on earth.

We brought our 5 kids, their spouses and 4 grandchildren...all asked to stay another week and a return trip. House had anything you could possibly need and more. The view could not have been better and the walk to the beach to see the sea turtles each morning and evening was phenomenal. The owners and concierge handled any and all questions immediately and could not have been more accommodating if they tried. Definitely would recommend and if we return to Maui it will be to this house! Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!

Perfection in Paradise
Within minutes of arriving, from the lanai we could see whales breaching! The house was ideal in every way! Absolutely the best stocked house we've ever stayed in! Even outdoor activity items are provided--fins, snorkels, masks, boogie boards, beach chairs, many beach toys. My grandchildren were thrilled seeing the very large turtles come up to the shore every night! We stayed in Kaanapali last time. The weather is sunnier and warmer here in Kihei in the winter months which we really appreciated.

Amazing! Attention to every detail.. Location Location Location!
WOW - THE VIEWS, THE LOCATION, THE HOUSE! From the moment we arrived every detail was taken care of, form the welcome baskets, to the guided house tour with Scott, to the breathtaking views..... what a fantastic way for our group to celebrate my 50th Birthday! The location on the beach, with all the equipment to use on the beach, to the turtles that visited each night, it was all AMAZING! The house layout, kitchen and bathrooms had everything you could ever need! Renting the whole house was just perfect for our group, we were together but had space and privacy!
This will be a place we will certainly return too! Wyatt was so easy to work with from booking to checkout, the Concierge to help with all our plans and Scott to help while we were there - this was a VIP experience - this is a must stay destination on anyone's Bucket List!!

Perfect in every way!!!
I am not even sure where to begin. Everything was perfect. I mean everything. Scott and Wyatt were amazing hosts. The villa is beautiful, amazingly equipped, and perfectly located. The sunsets from the deck are to die for. We had 18 guests. 12 adults and 6 kids. It was perfect for all of us. Scott was very helpful with finding activities, shopping, hikes, beaches, etc. He was very responsive. I wish we could stay for another week. We will be back with no question. Thanks for the amazing memories.

A gem of a place
This place was incredible. Everything was perfect. The location right next to the beach, the beautifully finished house and amenities and the conceirge service from the staff. It was more like staying at a friend's place (and one with excellent taste) than your typical VRBO rental.
Wyatt and Scott were also incredible hosts who thought of every last detail. They 100% delivered on everything we asked for and went well beyond the ordinary. For example, we had some board game fans in our group. I mentioned this to Wyatt and the next day there were 10 board games that arrived, which were perfect for the late evenings.
I hope we are all so lucky as to stay here again. This was the best HomeAway property I've experienced in more than a decade of using the service.

Fantastic property, amazing service
We rented the whole villa for an adult party of 13 for my 40th birthday. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the property itself... the amenities, the location, the views from every room — simply spectacular. The game changer, though, is the service. The owners are very communicative & will go WAY out of their way to make sure your stay is the best rental experience of your life.
As a vacation rental veteran, I can assure you that you won’t find better in Maui (or probably anywhere). Thanks, guys!!
