The house and grounds were great. The house has all the items you need and the game room was a lot of fun. Everything was as advertised. Due to flooding the week before the lake had a lot of debri. Just part of Mother Nature.
Fun place.

This property is just the best! The house was perfect for our group. There are many amenities, and the hosts have thought of everything. The arcade game in the house gameroom was a big hit with my two grandchildren. There's also another gameroom in the garage apartment with so much to do that we couldn't even use all of it. We definitely need to go back.
The best part of the property is its physical location. It's at the end of a peninsula directly across from Goat Island. Going there is a must. (Look up the history of Goat Island. It's interesting.) It has a beautiful dock with kayaks and a paddleboat. We kayaked all over the place and fished from the boats and from the dock. There are other houses nearby, but the location of this house has you looking out over the lake and never even realizing or seeing that there are other houses around. There are so many outdoor places to gather. The hot tub was great.
This is the first house that has met all of our family's diverse desires and needs. We all definitely want to return. I hope we'll be able to book it again next summer.
Don't even hesitate on this one. Book it!

Stunning property
Our family gathered here from Dallas, Austin and New Orleans. The accommodations were worked really well for adults, teens and children. And it was great to have so many gathering spaces indoors and out. The location of the property is outstanding with wonderful views of the lake, evening breezes and lots of privacy. The hot tub was an unexpected bonus!

Family Vacation at Lone Star Peninsula
Hi Vanessa,
We all enjoyed your beautiful retreat! Everything was so convenient. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked and beautifully decorated. The new grill was amazing. Everyone enjoyed making s’mores on the fire pit. My granddaughters had a blast fishing and catching and releasing the fish. In fact, they were the only ones catching the fish. They also used the paddle boat to goat island and were amazed at the goats. Thanks for letting us know about the island. We created a lot of beautiful memories. We will be back. Thanks again for everything!

A Prom Weekend
A couple families decided to get our seniors together and extend Prom night thru the weekend. The property was amazing!! The kitchen was stocked, plenty of rooms and activities, more amenities than expected and everything was super clean! The property manager was so nice and very easy to communicate with. We’re already looking for a time to go back!!
