About this house rental
Quiet lakefront home nestled away in Drowning Creek Cove. A newly remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath manufactured home with a private covered boat dock and two wave runner pads. There’s a large screened in porch and open deck with grill.
Whether it’s a family getaway or fishing trip, your next adventure awaits at Arrowhead Hideaway. It’s a short boat ride to Dripping Springs and Duck Creek. Come relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
Our Hideaway is lakeside. To get to it, you will have to drive through 1 mile of wooded area with some areas of rough terrain. The driveway down to the lake house is short but steep, so all wheel drive vehicles are needed. we do have a parking area on top.
We ask when bringing a boat, it is launched at the boat ramp before coming to the property to check in. The boat trailer can be parked in a parking area we have above the lake house.

Great place, lots of stairs down to boat dock, but a little leg burn can be a good thing.

Stayed for the second time. Addition of swimming dock is terrific. House was perfect for our stay with the grandchildren, aged 18 months and 4 years. A great time to be had for all. House has everything you need for a comfortable stay! Boat dock right at property. Our favorite place for family stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and just as described. We enjoyed swimming off the dock and hanging out in the screened in porch. The check-in and check-out processes were simple. We will definitely use this cabin again if we come back to Grand Lake.

The lake house was as described. As mentioned, the driveway is steep, only our all-wheel drives could climb the hill. The dock was very nice and fishing was great. We caught perch, catfish, carp and drum all from the dock; white and largemouth bass in the cove.

Arrowhead Hideaway is beautiful hidden gem, tucked against gorgeous views in Drowning Creek. The house is very neatly set up with everything we needed for our stay. The patio with its sofa, refrigerator, and table, as well as the boathouse were our favorite places to be! We saw Blue Crane eggs along the rocky shorelines as we kayaked and watched a variety of fish swimming in the clear waters! We cannot wait to book our next trip to Arrowhead Hideaway!

Such a beautiful view! Perfect for us -6 adults, an infant and 3 year old. Great place with everything you need. If you do need something, the hosts bring it straight over. Tremendously caring and next door. We never had an issue with them being next door! Can’t wait to stay again!

Overall, this property was a nice, relaxing stay. We had easy access to the dock and lake and the house had all the right amenities. THE ONLY ISSUE was that the owners of the property live right next door, about 10 ft away. We were expecting it to be a single cabin/house in a quiet spot so this was a bit of a surprise but it was no bother and we had a good time.

This house is perfect for a lake getaway! The dock for our boat was the best part!

It is in the woods, it is high on a hill, The View is Great and Lake Vibe decor a nice touch... 2 thumbs up on the nice outdoor deck. The boat slip was great for our 22' Scarab. Just know that views come with a price. Steep drive and a good number of steps down and than back up from the dock. Lakemont Marina is directly across from the dock, and the ramp was nice. The whole Marina is in a rebuilding phase but no crowds...so that was a plus. We parked the boat there. Went to the cabin which is a good 20 minute trip or so one way. Settled in than went back got the boat in the water. Left the truck and trailer right there by the ramp all weekend. Locals were great too and kept an extra eye on our truck and trailer too, we could see it from the cabin too. Anyways our boat became our main source of transport so it was just as I always dreamed a lake trip to be....all the time on the water, the shops and restaurants and of course the cliff diving just the next cove over at dripping springs. If you are adventurous...This the place for you.

Quiet, mostly secluded excellent stay
There were five of us ladies ages 47 and up. The home was absolutely perfect! Everything we needed other than our food was at our fingertips. Every room was exactly as described, clean and so cute. Furnishings were nice and comfortable. Covered, screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee. The extra fridge was well appreciated. We also took advantage of the deck in the evenings, talking and enjoying the view. Our stay was during the week, so the lake was pretty quiet. Lots of stairs to get to the dock, but that is to be expected. Us old ladies didn't jump off the dock, but we did drive down to the dam and swam all day. It was such a nice stay.

We Reeled in a Good Stay
We all had a fantastic time, and we didn't want to leave. The back porch is screened in and has a great view. The couch back there made for a perfect napping spot in the late morning/early afternoon. Caught some hybrid striped bass and catfish off the dock. And the owners were friendly and very communicative!
