This sophisticated house for the discerning guest is available for both long and short stays. Built in 2014, the tastefully appointed home provides over 3,000 SF of living space and features 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, office, family room, gas fireplace, media/entertainment room (with pull-out queen bed, this is the 5th bedroom), formal dining room, breakfast nook, deck with grill, backyard, and parking. Stay at this spectacular Arlington home a mere 10 min from Washington DC, the Ballston Metro Station, Arlington Cemetery, and excellent schools.
Spectacular open floor plan features 10 ft ceilings and hardwood flooring on the main level. Gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, 6-burner cooktop, center island, and counter seating opens onto spacious and welcoming sun-filled family room with fireplace. The beautifully decorated formal dining room with seating for 8. Bright corner office and high-speed internet make up the main level. Glass doors open to a deck with a gas grill, outdoor seating for 6, and access to the grassy rear garden with seating and cozy firepit. Upstairs you’ll find a luxurious master suite with king bed and marble bath. Three additional bedrooms and two full baths as well as a well-appointed laundry room with full-size washer dryer make up the level. The carpeted lower-level features 9 ft ceiling and has the comfortable in-home theater with L shaped sofa that converts to a second queen size bed. Open family game room with work out corner, additional full bathroom rounds out the lower level. Glass doors open to backyard with seating around a cozy firepit.

ABOUT THE OWNERS
Gailius and Daniela have lived in this house for over five years while their sons were attending high school. Daniela was born in Argentina, and is of Lithuanian heritage just like her husband, Gailius, who was born in the USA. They have lived abroad and traveled the world, both for work and for pleasure, and find pleasure in collecting small treasures along the way which decorate this beautiful home. They like exploring new places, good food, good music and good company, and hope you get to enjoy everything that this house has to offer.

Great location, beautiful and spacious home, about 15 minutes from all the museum and monuments. I never received my 2 day check in instructions but the host was quick to respond, friendly and super helpful.

This property was exactly as advertised. It was spacious, extremely clean; within walking distance to two parks with playgrounds, a grocery store, several restaurants, a Metro stop and Metro bus stops. The property manager was easy to reach, gracious and helpful.

Our family had a wonderful vacation and our home and location was a big part of it! Each of our kids loved having their own room and the home was wonderful, perfectly located, and significantly enhanced our visit. We had considered staying in a hotel and I'm so glad we did not. The metro stop was closer than I expected and the walk each morning and evening was much more pleasant than expected. We got groceries at the nearby Whole Foods and Trader Joes 2 metro stops away. Each day we were all very happy to go out to visit sites but also very happy to come home to this house. Thank you!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was a very good fit for our family of 7 during our trip to DC for spring break. It offered plenty of room for our 5 kids to spread out after long days seeing the sights of the city. The home is 4 blocks from the metro, making getting into and out of the National Mall convenient and relatively quick. The home is also in a safe neighborhood and relatively close to grocery stores, restaurants and other shops. I would certainly recommend this location to anyone looking for a home to rent.

We had a delightful stay at the property. Clean, comfortable and spacious. We felt at home the moment we arrived and were never want for anything. The location was great and super convenient for eating and getting around on public transportation. We were able to have family over that were living in northern VA and it was so nice to have the room to be the hosts. We would gladly come back. Our hosts were attentive and thoughtful. They clearly wanted us to feel at home in their home. Thank you!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for 3 months in the fall of 2023 and it was the perfect family home in a great location. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs with 3 bathrooms and a laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The primary bathroom soaking tub is amazing. The main level has a huge family room that opens into the kitchen with a table with seating for 6, plus bar seating the counter. The large island is great for cooking and there are double ovens which was so nice to have for making Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen came fully stocked with anything you need including kids cups and plates and pots and pans for any occasion. There is also a dining table with seating for 8. The basement has a full bathroom as well as a great movie room with couches. The house’s location is great for exploring Arlington. We were walking distance to a playground, public library, parks, and the Ballston metro stop. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Rented this house for out of town family members to attend my mother’s funeral at Arlington Cemetery. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was perfect. The house was HUGE with plenty of common areas and bedrooms. The house was pristine, with an amazing kitchen and open floor plan to a super comfortable living room area where we spent the majority of our time together. The location was easily and safely walkable to restaurants and the metro station with short ride to DC. The outdoor deck was spectacular where we enjoyed a family BBQ using the Weber gas grill. We felt as though we were in the trees overlooking the beautiful backyard. The house had everything we could have hoped for in the kitchen, on the outdoor deck, family room, dining room, private office, bedrooms, bathrooms, and the awesome media and game room downstairs - what a bonus! Each bedroom was large and offered plenty of privacy from the others. Another bonus, the homeowner and host, Charlotte, was exceptional and responded immediately to any questions we had. Charlotte was the best host I’ve ever experienced and made our stay so incredibly easy and enjoyable. Thank you, Charlotte, for the BEST rental experience anyone could possibly have. The cost of this rental was worth every penny. All of us who stayed in this house had the same reaction - PERFECT!!

The property was just as described. There was enough room for all of us and it was very clean. The location was great, so close to the Metro, yet in a beautiful, safe, quiet neighbourhood. Charlotte, our property manager was very helpful and responded to any questions that we had with courtesy and kindness. We had a great stay in Arlington at this amazing house! There was even a bonus media room that we didn’t know about and a wonderful fire pit in the back yard. Every detail from essential oils in the main bath to batteries in the kitchen drawers for the remotes was taken care of.

Family enjoyed brisk walk to/from Metro to take in all of the D.C. sites without the hassle of a car. Ballston offered nice dinner options as well. Would recommend for families.

This is a fabulous property in which to stay. Large, spacious and super clean. The master bedroom and closet are HUGE. My husband and I, our adult daughter, and son and his wife and two year old son stayed for a week to visit other family in the area. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Charlotte was extremely accommodating and responsive to all questions before and during the stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful large home, three levels to spread out the family and cousins for a truly great time! Leave your car in the garage after a long road trip, Metro to DC and enjoy the city activity. Order in from We the Pizza (highly recommend) or shop local and get the feel of living in Arlington. Great, quiet neighbors go unnoticed when relaxing in the beautifully landscaped yard. We really felt at home, thank you!
