The Heavenly Lakeview Hideaway is a beautiful lake Norman home just 40 minutes from Uptown Charlotte. Perfect for getting together with family and friends where it’s easy to fantasize about dipping a toe into lake life, where dreamy getaways are surrounded by stunning views and sun-sparkled waters.
Plenty of space to get together or apart. This private compound allows you to relax and enjoy the outdoors without a neighbor in sight. Within a 10-minute drive to dining and shopping options for delivery and pick up. Once you get here you really won’t want to leave!

THE KITCHEN:
Food is a huge deal when getting together. With our large kitchen, all you need to bring is your food. Kitchen has:
-2 ovens
-1 convection oven
-Completely stocked with cooking needs, including a huge selection of pots, pans, serving dishes, platters, cookie trays, and more.
-Plenty of cooking knives for the chefs in the family.
-Enough forks/spoons/knives/plates for everyone in the family (the house sleeps 20 people, and we’ve never had anyone run out of utensils).
-2 coffee pots, including coffee and filters. Enjoy an early sunrise with fresh coffee on the front porch in the rocking chairs watching the mirror reflection on the calm lake. (my family favorite).
-Full-sized dishwasher, including dishwasher soap.
-2 Outdoor covered propane grills, complete propane (with extra tanks so you can endlessly grill and not worry about running out).
-Grilling utensils included.
-Outdoor charcoal smoker.
-Includes plenty of paper towels, sponges, wipes, and various other kitchen utensils.

THE BOATHOUSE GAME/PARTY Room:
This is the part of the house people say “WHOA, OMG, WTF!!” when they see it!
The BOATHOUSE GAME/PARTY Room is about 100 feet from the house - close enough to run back and forth between the two, and far enough that you won’t disturb people in the house if you’re playing in the boathouse.
The GAME/PARTY Room has:
-Full-size pool table with balls and cues.
-Ping pong table with plenty of paddles and balls.
-Foosball table.
-Giant windows overlooking the lake with covered patio to serve drinks/food from inside and outside.
-Full-sized kitchen for beverages to cooldown between a friendly competition.
-Full 800 sqft space for games and dancing with sliders to move the game around and space for everyone to horse around on the dance floor.
- Easy to use the sound system. Just plug in your phone or computer or connect to Bluetooth.
-Flat-screen TV. Has all the Netflix and Youtube TV with all the sports and movie channels. Watch your favorite sports game on and play some pool and foosball at the same time!
-There is 1 shared bathroom! Great for when you’re drinking beers with your friends and don’t want to miss the fun!
-The boathouse has WIFI all over so that you don’t miss any chance to update your status to IG, Facebook, or TikTok.
That’s just the upstairs of the boathouse, in the garage of the boathouse there are:
-3 adult paddleboards.

Overall house was good. Rained a couple days / had leaks in living room and doorway from living room to sunroom. Dryer quit working Thursday. Grass needed mowed when we got there and didn’t get mowed for the week. Zee was there to give us a tour at check in- very helpful but a little slow to respond to texts during stay.

We had an awesome week. Zee was a wonderful host and his home is amazing! Can't beat the view! Teens and young adults loved the game room and more than enough lake toys in the garage. Great retreat for a family or friend get away.

We stayed at this property in 2017 for our son's wedding & everyone kept saying how much fun we had & must do again. So we finally did over 4th of July week 2024. House interior updated with new, improved kitchen, some furniture, blackstone grill, new outdoor lounger & chairs and tons more water toys, life jackets & sand toys! We had few issues with house, but Zee was very responsive. Family already talking about when to do our next family reunion!

Great space and location for large family providing an array of summer lake activities for all ages. Main house and game room was clean, but some exterior spaces had not been touched in a while (cob webs, dirty). Generally good communication with property manager though when a/c unit went out in Game room area for 2.5 days in 90+ degree heat there was no response to request for cost adjustment which was disappointing when paying peak season prices and loss of bedroom and key feature. Rental of Jet Ski and Boat at location while convenient proved to be a hassle at times. Overall our family enjoyed the time at the property and would generally recommend for others, but personally would not rent at location again given our communication experience at the end.

We had a fantastic family stay! We loved all of the SUPs, kayaks, and floats. The firepit also was wonderful! Lots of spaces to gather inside and out so that we could all spend time. We also rented the pontoon boat and that added so much fun to the week. Zee was super-responsive before and during our stay. Definitely great for a big group.

From booking to departure everything was on point. Zee is fantastic and was there on check in to give us the grand tour; he was also available throughout our stay. Beautiful property, beautiful location.Highly recommend for groups and family get togethers

We had 16 men in our group and we had a great time. The house worked very well for our group and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The firepit provided a nice evening early in our stay and we had no issues during our stay. Zee was very accommodating when we had requests or questions and I'd highly recommend the property for larger groups staying in the area. Thanks a bunch for a great visit.

Upon receiving the email about the property, we found accessing it fairly straightforward. However, we immediately encountered a major issue: the property was not handicapped accessible, which was crucial for my spouse and family.
Despite being promised a guided tour upon arrival, no one was present to give us the tour, so we toured ourselves.
My goal for relaxation was fishing, but the unfinished pier disappointed me greatly. I had to balance on a precarious 1x6 to access it. The owner suggested fishing from the bridge instead, as the pontoon was not ideal. However, I was informed that the construction crew for the pier wouldn't return until after our departure, which was frustrating and should have been disclosed beforehand. Because of the location of the fishing, I lost about $50.00 worth of tackle that was getting stuck in rocks that had no business being in the lake. They were pavers.
Additionally, we were instructed to clean the towels, which was fine, but leaving the linens on the bed for "inspection" made me uncomfortable. I don't want to sleep on potentially unclean sheets used by previous occupants. That is disgusting. To make it more difficult, the dryer took 3-4 hours to dry clothing/towels.
Moreover, we were informed about a septic system issue and instructed not to flush tissue down the toilet. This should have been disclosed earlier and would have been a deal breaker. It made everyone uncomfortable, including all of our guests, and many children.

The stay was everything that we expected. We thoroughly enjoyed the house. It provided everything that you could think of and the location was perfect. We highly recommend this location if you love staying near the lake. It was Heavenly and the description is accurate. Thanks to Zee we had no issues and if we had a question he was very timely and helpful. We will definitely visit this house again.

We had a wonderful stay at your property that has the best views anywhere on Lake Norman!! Zee was an incredible host and I probably exceeded my limit of questions, but he was gracious every single time and answered them all and provided all the information we needed!! He was incredibly flexible with a couple requests we had that were granted and was super friendly and welcoming when we arrived, gave us a tour and made sure we had everything we need. This is our second time at this property and would be our first choice again! Thank you for everything!!
Takeaways of note for potential renters:
1. It was SO nice being at a place that provided all the "play" items you needed - volleyballs, rafts, many kayaks, paddle boards, floats, ping pong paddles/balls, numerous board games, plenty of coffee pods - it was all provided in one spot and enough to go around!!
2. The upstairs bunkbed room has one bunk bed and two twin beds for a total of 4 beds - not 4 bunk beds to sleep 8 - 4 people total can sleep in that bed.
3. The grill is a really nice Blackstone and was wonderful to cook everything on - breakfast and dinner!!
4. The smokeless fire pit was exactly that - it's not massive, but it still holds a good amount of wood and smoke didn't go in our faces when we sat around the fire each night!
5. Lots of plates and utensils and cooking items - there wasn't anything we needed they didn't have. Even ziplock for leftovers! Really helpful.

We had a wonderful time at Lake Norman! Zee met us at the property and was easy to contact with questions through out the entire process. The home accommodated all 18 of us with plenty of room. The location for boating could not have been any better and the game room was a huge bonus!

One of the most enjoyable family vacations we've had, thanks the the wonderful location, splendid amenities in kitchen, outstanding selection of kayaks, paddleboards, life vests,etc. Game room outstanding, made for many hours of fun for kids and adults alike. We'd put this at the top of our list of places to consider returning to. Was outstanding.

We had a great trip! Zee was great to deal with and accomodating of our dogs, and the house location was amazing - boat gas, restaurants by water, and cruising and watersports all within immediate or short distance. But, there are things that could make it better.
Here are the bulleted comments from our family:
The over garage room does indeed have a bed and a sleeper sofa for 2-4 people. Was convenient for teenagers to bunk in.
Dishwasher in main house needs replacing or a lot of mounting and dish rack work.
Dock has no shade and planking gets really hot and is warping. The swim ladder and decking are not supported to the joists properly, so was a little more tricky for some.
The porch is shaded and comfortable to sit on.
In general, it was more dated than we were expecting for the price and description.
While the gameroom is fun, all of the actual games are pretty old, but nostalgic. Racing has broken gas pedal.
It was great having 3 refrigerators and different zones to hang.
You are on a peninsula, the wake action is busy and lack of shade do not allow for the cove-style peaceful swim breaks.
Kitchen layout and flow had us all tripping over each other during meal prep and in the serving line.
Privacy, lot size, volleyball court and amount of toys/items in garage along with second living room were a nice plus.
Boaters - back the trailer down from the curve at the end of the main road, however, our 23ft wakeboat could not launch on this ramp.

Zee was a wonderful host! He met us at the property when we checked in to welcome us and show us around the property. The view and access to the lake is amazing and the volleyball court was a huge hit…..lots of fun!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. The property is so beautiful. We had 16 adults and 1 infant sleep at the house and had more than enough room. The host allowed us to have our additional family and friends over for two celebrations on Friday and Saturday. We had about 35 people over for dinner with a chef to celebrate a few birthdays and a vow renewal. Because the weather was so beautiful we were able to host dinner in the lawn overlooking the lake. The property is on a bit of a peninsula which allowed for beautiful views and nice privacy. Zee was a great host, super responsive and made things easy for us. We would definitely love to host our family and friends vacation here again!

Beautiful location. Our family loved being together in this inviting environment. Jet ski and pontoon boat rental were highlights. We were all able (14 of us) to sit together at the spacious dining room table, around the fire pit, and on the pontoon boat. Meal preparation and clean up were easy in the kitchen. It was a little difficult to figure out which pots were where and how to get them back in place. Boat house with game room and volleyball court provided opportunities to play and spread out. The lake itself was beautiful.

This property is truly perfect. We went to celebrate my mom's 80th with two teens, 6 20-somethings, 6 adults. Even in the terrible weather we unfortunately had, we had an absolute blast. It is perfectly appointed, the game room was a life saver, and we even got good weather on the last full day to make use of the firepit. The views are incredible and Zee was an absolutely wonderful host. Already planning to try and make it back with some friends - would be a perfect stay for 3-4 families with kids / teens during the summer. You really couldn't want for anything more than what was supplied - grab your groceries and some beers and enjoy!

Big house with plenty of beds for 14 of us. The owner provided the firewood but we just had to gather the kindling to get the fire started. Owner was responsive when we had questions. The photos of the property still show 2 barbecue grills but there is only 1 large flat iron grill. The main house had 2 refrigerators and the game room over the garage had 1 refrigerator. We did have a family member who stayed in the small bedroom over the garage which also had a bathroom with a shower. The pinball machines, in the photo, are no longer there. Some of the games did require coins but we stuck with playing the free games like pool, table tennis and the play station.

We needed a big house for a family gathering on Lake Norman and I can’t believe how lucky we got! This house was perfect for our party of 17 (and two dogs.) Reservation and check in process was a breeze… Zee met us at the house for the quick tour and then we were on our own to enjoy paradise! The “adult kids” among us loved the game house, fully stocked with ping pong, pool table, arcade games and more. There is also a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom in the game house and the garage below is fully stocked with water craft. Even though the weather was cold, the brave in our party managed to get the kayaks out on the lake! We never even got to use the sand volleyball court (next time!) but totally made good use of the giant hot tub and amazing grill (I cannot say enough good things about that grill!) The house was so clean and comfortable and we never had any issues with Wi-Fi or hot water even with so many people! Also plenty of parking for seven cars. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Every year we take the family on vacation and we have to say this is our very favorite spot so far! This will be where we probably gather every year from now on. I can’t say enough good things about the owner, the property itself and the game room was amazing!

Our family of 14 enjoyed the weekend before Christmas at this property which was nicely decorated for Christmas and had plenty of room for us all. The game room was well used on Friday evening after we all arrived, and the sunroom was great for gathering everyone together. Though it was a little tight, we were able to get everyone in the dining room for dinner. The kitchen id well equipped and has a very large central counter for spreading out and additional seating for meals. The second refrigerator in the adjacent room was totally needed and used. TVs were available in every room, but we only used a couple of them to watch the world cup finals. Being winter we did not have much use for the lake "toys" but some of the young ladies actually did do a little paddle boarding. The fire pit and hot tub got a good bit of use, but it was too cold and windy for enough people to want to use the beach volleyball court. Finally, our host Zee was responsive and gracious - a truly great supper host!

We couldn't have asked for a better Thanksgiving holiday at this wonderful house. We frequently rent large houses (8+ bedrooms) for our big family and we have grown accustomed to poor conditions and malfunctioning equipment - - NOT a problem here. We are the house was immaculate and there were many unexpected amenities. Thanks, Zee, and for the K cups, waffle maker and mix and the roses to brighten up the kitchen. I can't recommend this rental highly enough - - just terrific!

Our Family gathered together for a Wedding in Charlotte and enjoyed making this house “ Our Home” for 4 days. The house was perfect with plenty of space, clean rooms, loads of amenities that made everyone feel at home. The best time was sitting at the outdoor firepit - talking, singing and Smoreing! The kitchen was always a focal place for us to be together enjoying all the ingredients to make our Family Gathering a lasting memory. Thank You Zee for providing this Great Home.

This stay couldn't have been more perfect for a group of professional women.
Zee went out of his way to ensure a great stay.
Every water toy imaginable was available for use.

The long weekend was what we all needed! Had a mix of time inside and outside, with Hurricane Ian coming through one of the days. A couple of small issues at the house brought on by the hurricane, but Zee was contacted and he had us back on track as soon as the power came back on. Beautiful house and location, couldn't ask for anything better! Thanks, Zee, for a fantastic weekend!

We had high expectations for our family gathering and this property met them all. Folks from Virginia and North Carolina to Texas and New Mexico all got together here and everyone was impressed. Zee provided a great walk-through, the place was spotless and the location can't be beat. Oh and that BBQ!

What a great place to vacation with a large group! We had 18 adults and there was plenty of space for us to hang out together or find places for some quiet time. The boat house was awesome for playing games and enjoying the view over the lake. Lots of kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy on the lake with a great private dock! Main house was very well equipped and laid out well for multiple families. Hope to make it back there as does everyone in our group! Thanks Zee!!

Close to neighbors, but still very private. So easy access to the water. Just steps away from the house. Plenty of water toys and other games to keep everyone occupied. Kitchen area a little tight, but only because of such a huge work island in the middle. Air conditioning on the left side of the house could not keep the rooms on that side cool enough on those August days. But overall it was an excellent stay!

Great time had by all. Kayaking. Volleyball, boating, fire pit, floating on lake. Awesome house on the the best lot on a point on Lake Norman. All as advertised in the listing. Zee was a great host who responded to any issues almost immediately and check in was very easy. Would definitely stay there again.

We had 13 adults and 2 babies. There was plenty of room for all. We had two fun nights using the game room. Loved the variety of water toys available! Prepared our meals in the large kitchen and ate every dinner together in the large dining room. Enjoyed the breezes and sunsets on the side porch. Sunrises on the front porch. Had a few dips in the VERY clean hot tub. The house has a touchy septic system but it was not a problem for us. We rented a pontoon boat for the week from Lake Norman Marina and were very happy with the service. We had a memorable time!

The entire process was easy. The property owner, Zee, was great to work with. And i can't say enough good things about the property. It was on the point so you had a great view of the lake and the deep water was steps off the dock. The house accommodated all our family...22 of us from 2 to 80 years old. The rooms were nicely decorated...and CLEAN!. You will not be disappointed in this home. We are booking again for next year! Thank you Zee for the privilege of staying at this wonderful home.

Another week in Paradise
Been staying on lake Norman for 27 years!! It’s a long standing tradition now involving 3 generations.
What a beautiful property. Zee has done a wonderful job trying to make it more than a place just to stay. Every water toy you can think of supplied, lots, and I mean lots of life jackets, a hot tub, volleyball court and fire pit. Great dock for your boat and or Jets skis. Only about 200 ft on the water from prime boating and water sports area. Close to two on water marinas and gas stations, an a couple great places to get a bite. Another handful of on water choices with in 10 minutes.
Communication was great, details great, and property fantastic. Kitchen a little tight when several are preparing food for 13 people but only because he has provided a very large island to sit around and use.
All in all a great host. Our family travels 3 times a years and we typically try to use rental homes. One is always Lake Norman. Zee is as good as they come and he seems to genuinely Work to make your stay a perfect place to build memories. In our case it was add to a tradition of memories but special none the less.

The property was gorgeous and well maintained! Very clean. Description is accurate..8th bedroom is in garage/game
room. Nice for privacy. 7 bedrooms In main house. One bedroom accommodates with a king and queen in bedroom. Great location. Great views of lake. Awesome lake equipment! game room was fun could use upgrades which the new owner stated he was in process of doing. He even dropped off a ping pong table mid week! Was a huge hit!
Volleyball court was fun! Would recommend and would stay again!!
Any issues that arose during the week the owner was readily available to assist! We lost power and he arrived with flashlights and even small colored ones for the kids!!

A brilliant get-away
We had four families staying at this home and it was absolutely brilliant for us. The location is nice - not far from Publix and some restaurants. The home is spacious and clean. Zee met us there to show us around and we appreciated it. He was also very responsive to all correspondence. The volleyball court was super fun (just make sure you rake out the twigs and stuff before you play barefoot!) The boathouse was such a plus for the teens in our group, and all the rafts, life vests, paddleboards and kayaks were appreciated. We used the fire pit a lot and loved the porch swings. The blackstone was amazing to cook on! The location of the home on the lake is pretty amazing. All 20 of us agreed that we could not have picked a more perfect home for our vacation together. Zee has thought of everything, truly. Thanks much!

This property has everything for all ages to enjoy, together and separately! We have been going on vacations as a family to the ocean, various lakes, and resorts for over 20 years. This warm, comfortable house, stimulated grandchildren from the ages of10 to 21, parents from 43 to 51, and grandparents from 70 to 78 to enjoy being with each other in quiet times (just reading and talking), in board game times, in dock related water activities, in active water sports (pontoon cruising, tubing, skiing, and jet skiing), family meals at different times for extended breakfasts, hurried lunches, and family dinners, followed by marshmallow roasting, and volleyball games into the night! It was so wonderful to see all the generations of our family interacting to their ability and interests as facilitated by the features of this property from the game room with all the individual and group play attractions, to the individual comfortable gathering areas, around the large dinner table, on the covered porches, at the dock, and on the volleyball court! The warmth of the house and stimulation of the property and its features created an interactive spirit among the multi-generational members of our family! It truly brought all the members of our family closer together in unity, appreciation, and mutual respect! The host for the week was very easy to communicate and work with, and very welcoming.
