I couldn't rate this property directly because the day before we were to arrive the owner called and told us the AC had went out. The temps were 100 plus degrees. This owner went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us. They found us a different VRBO and made everything work out for our two nights stay in Cotter to be pleasant. I will be back to Cotter to fish, and I will try to rent their place again to hopefully be able to stay:)
I would recommend this VRBO just because the owners were AWESOME!

Cozy craftsman home near the trout fishing and kayaking White River. Great front porch for sitting and visiting. A short walk to town for ice cream, coffee or entertainment venues. Neighborhood fireworks were great. Perfect “overflow”house for large family gathering. Most of our grilling and cooking was at another house. Beds were good and towels were soft.

The property is excellent for one or two couples with excellent amenities in my opinion.

Staying at this property has been the highlight of my summer- the house is incredibly clean, cozy, quiet, and perfectly located. The pictures don’t do it justice! I couldn’t have asked for a better stay or better hosts. They were extremely accommodating for every need we had and made the vacation a breeze. Even when I left an important item behind, they went above and beyond helping me out. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

I am at no loss for words when it comes to this property. The owners have done an outstanding job when it comes to creating a property that provides you comfort, peace and tranquility. This adorable cottage is in a quaint and quiet neighborhood, not far from the White River at the Cotter input. The cottage is clean, comfortable, top notch decorations with old charm. The inside of the house still reflects the time period it was built in the trim but all amenities are updated. We LOVED this property. It had everything we could have needed. If the owners would sell me this house, I would buy it. But in the meantime, I can't recommend this property enough! We loved our time here, and we will be back! There is plenty of parking availability, we even brought our river boat and had no problems with parking. Thanks William and Stephanie, we loved staying with you!

I was very impressed with the cleanliness, supplies of essentials (paper products, cleaning products, kitchen equipment, and much more), and the overall condition of the property. I would definitely stay with them again.

Very nice property with all the amenities provided. A short trip across town to boat ramp. Cotter seems to be an up and coming destination with a lot to do and see in the area. Highly recommended!!

Great house with everything you need for a great stay. Just a couple of blocks from the fly shop and local dinner. Wonderful property with very accommodating owners. We had a scheduling issue on our part and the owners worked with us perfectly! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Property is exactly as described. We felt at home the minute we arrived. Loved the architecture, floor plan, and sitting on the front porch.
Kitchen fully stocked with cookware, spices, all things needed to prepare meals.
Hosts are super nice! We requested to stay an extra night and they worked their “magic” to accommodate.
The menfolk came to fish, and with the daytime extreme heat, they were able to fish late into the night. The river being only few blocks away.
Hope to return again to this wonderful home.

I want to start off by saying that with everything in the North Central Arkansas area there is to do-shopping, hiking, sight-seeing, fishing, floating, eating, music fests, etc, the Terra Cotta house in Cotter is as near-perfect a location to stay as you can possibly find. The only issue? This little slice of heaven is so inviting that from the moment you step onto the front porch, you aren't going to want to do much more than grab your favorite book and a mug of coffee or tall glass of lemonade, and never leave this very well-appointed home away from home.
The location is very easy to find, the street is quiet. Neighbors all were very friendly but kept their distance so as to allow us to relax. The furnishings are very comfortable, and the water pressure makes for a refreshing shower. The kitchen is stocked with almost any gadget you could possibly need and there is even a Culligan water filtration system. The metal roof is music to your ears during a rainshower. Beds are divine, and I want to take the couch home with me, ha!
William and Stephanie are almost immediately responsive to messages, and while we did not get to meet them in person, they made us feel welcome before we ever even checked in.
For a couple, or even more if you don't mind sharing one bathroom, this is just absolutely the most perfect home. We come to the area every year, and we will definitely be staying at the Terra Cotta Home our next trip up to the area and for as long as it is available to rent in the future!
