About this house rental
The bright and airy Downtown Deneege (moose in Athabascan) overlooks our beautiful public library park and is walking distance from downtown shopping, restaurants, the local hospital and more. Moose frequent the park, so be ready with your camera! Simplicity meets functional and cozy in this freshly remodeled unit making your stay comfortable and effortless. If you like traveling light, we've got the essentials covered! We can't wait to share Fairbanks with you.
The space
This is a beautiful 2BR 1 Bath apartment unit located on the second floor. Both Bedrooms have queen beds, space for clothing, luggage racks, and fans for summer months. There is a hall closet where you will find extra blankets, towels and more. Small laundry area with ironing board, and cleaning supplies.
There are long term renters in the apartment below, so we ask that you be mindful of parking and noise levels after 10PM. Renters downstairs do have 2 dogs that are friendly, and are always leashed. Just a heads up if you cross paths.

Guests have access to the second floor of duplex and street parking in front of the duplex.
Other things to note
We've got three kids and know how stressful it is to travel with kiddos. Please let us know if you need any extras to make your stay a little easier. Pack and play is always available, but we are able to provide some extras if you give us a heads up.
There is a security camera on site above the garage. This has view of the front of the home, some of the side street and parking spots.
The deck will under go construction in the next few weeks to give it a revamp as the rest of the unit was just remodelled. It is safe to go out and sit on and enjoy your coffee or check out the park across the street. Please try to stay off the railing.

The apartment is large and spacious. It was nicely decorated and had all the amenities washer dryer Roku TV microwave full size refrigerator and the kitchen was well stocked with all the stuff needed to cook. There is a park right out the front door a good place to take a walk. The location for me was Fantastic so close to everything.

Our flight got in after midnight ..13 hours of flying.
Walking into Danielle 's place was so welcoming. Immaculate and had everything and more that we needed. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. Location was great for the start of our road trip.

We stayed 4 nights here. This place is so clean - as clean as I like my own home! The host is one of the best, you can tell she put much thought and effort into making the stay easier and more comfortable. There are so many little "extras" that I have not found in most VRBO's - too many to name them all here. No need for bottled water - if you let the cold water run a little it gets really cold and tastes great. Within walking distance to "downtown" Fairbanks. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This apartment is everything we could have wanted for a couple nights in Fairbanks. It was very well furnished and decorated. There were little touches that made the space so inviting and easy to navigate as a first time visitor. Danielle was incredibly responsive and helpful in making our stay the best it could be. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place to stay in Fairbanks.

Well maintained and supplied. Plenty of coffee, towels, dishes and cooking things. Very clean, neat and tidy. Plug in car heater on switch in the apartment very easy to use. Great location for seeing Fairbanks and getting picked up by our aurora tour bus. Responsive owner appreciated.

We had a great stay with Danielle. The weather provided a rough start, but communincation with Danielle was easy. The apartment was beautiful and welcoming. Lots of extra touches made the stay extremely comfortable. We would love to be back in warmer weather to see the rest of what Fairbanks has to offer. Would absolutely stay with Danielle again.

We were in town to visit a friend after a few days down in Denali. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and warm with everything we needed. Easy access to everything in town. The welcome book was very helpful, but even more so was Danielle who was quick to communicate and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed - just one example of the incredibly friendly people of Fairbanks! In addition to visiting LARS, Running Reindeer Ranch, and Museum of the North, we were lucky enough to go sledding at university hill and get TWO good nights of aurora viewing from the park across the street.

Thoughtfully appointed and super clean apartment conveniently located to downtown. Kitchen was well equipped with coffee and snacks and drinking water. Situated across the street from a large green space in a quiet setting. Would definitely stay again when visiting Fairbanks.

Wow…this was the cleanest…and nicest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. This should be a model for all rentals. The decor was comfortable and modern. The bed heavenly! It’s the attention to detail that really impressed me. The towels and bedding were first class. The bathroom and kitchen were fully stocked with just about everything you need…all high quality. And the owner left a wonderful book of ideas for things to do…restaurants and bars. We took advantage of several selections…and we were not disappointed! This is a first class accommodation. Enjoy!

We stayed at this property for 4 nights, and it was perfect for us!
The location was convenient for what we had planned. Parking was easy and clearly marked.
Inside was very nice! Lovely decor, oversized towels, soft rugs and sheets, comfy beds, and a nice shower. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed for basic cooking, including seasonings. It was also nice that they had cotton swabs, body wash, and new toothbrushes included. We didn’t use them, but it just showed the care that the owners took to make it a home away from home.
They also created a binder with lots of information and ideas for things to do, places to eat, etc. We took some of those recommendations and were very pleased with our experiences.
Recommended 100% if you are staying in the Fairbanks area.

I loved this place! It was clean and comfortable and well decorated too. The beds were comfortable. The host left snacks and coffee and bottles of water for us. Nicely stocked kitchen and bathroom too! Washing machine and dryer with lots of laundry supplies. The host had a very informative binder for us and it was full of suggestions on places to eat and things to do. Everything was easy. I would recommend this place to everyone! Books and games and puzzles were in the home too!

We just stayed for an overnight work trip and the place was ready and very clean when we go there. It was easy to let ourselves in with the check-in instructions. There was plenty of coffee! It was overall a very comfortable place to stay, centrally located, and there was no noise disturbance of any kind. We will definitely stay here again the next time we stop over in Fairbanks.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Its location is perfect, just outside downtown but still within easy walking distance. The unit has been beautifully remodeled and the owners have included so many small touches that make if feel like a nice cozy home away from home. Our bed was super comfortable and it is the most well equipped and clean rental we’ve stayed in. The owners have put together an amazing book of recommendations, with something for every type of traveler, which we really appreciated! We are already planning out next trip back and hope to be able to stay at this property again!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were impressed with the little comforts provided by our hosts. The condo was incredibly clean and comfortable, and provided the perfect spaces for us to spread out and relax after a day of busy visiting in Fairbanks. We really appreciated the responsiveness and helpfulness of our hosts. Would love to return some day, and actually wished we had stayed another night!

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation in Alaska. At the end of our trip, we stayed at this wonderful VRBO! We felt completely at home, and it was probably one of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed at thus far. It is evident that they took the time to consider everything that a guest may need and make it readily available for them. It was so nice to be able to do some laundry at the end of a long trip to Alaska.

Great place to stay. The home was extremely well stocked with everything we needed and didn't know we needed (a heat tape for the car and a mirror that "Defogs" in the bathroom, I'm asking my husband for one next Christmas). We stayed a week in the winter for a Nordic race and the home was a warm and inviting place to return after a long day of skiing and at the races. The beds are comfortable, everything was extremely clean and the coffee was wonderful. Would absolutely stay here again.
