We loved this place. Quiet, relaxing, close to the beach and the east village. We had everything we needed and we will definitely be back! Such beautiful views of the Santa Lucia rolling hills and the back property is a beautiful walk with the many deer.🦌 The kids loved the ez bed!
Safe and secluded with a beautiful front and back deck for morning coffee and evening wine.

Very clean, very comfortable, perfect location, an amazing relaxing weekend we had! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!!

Very cozy decor and plenty of room to gather the family together. A great option to spend time together instead of being separated into hotel rooms. Beautiful town!

We loved staying at this cozy home. It was spotless, close to the landmarks and activities we wanted to experience. The town of Cambria was very close. So charming. We’ll be back someday.

can I say see all media in pages for my comments.

We have rented homes in Cambria for the last 13 years. We usually stay with Scenic Coast rentals and they are FANTASTIC. (We waited to long to book our stay this time-they we’re sold out)
We will never stay at a Vacasa property again. The level of hospitality was non existent. There weren’t enough plates or kitchen items to make a dinner. As a family, we rent homes so we can cook and eat. Other companies stock their kitchens with this in mind. Not this place. No salt, no pepper, We ran out of trash bags, paper towels AND toilet paper. Often times, there’s ketchup in the fridge and basic baking in the pantry (sugar and flour). Not this place.
No dust pan for the broom NOT EVEN a HAIR DRYER in the bathroom.
Trying to get a hold of someone at Vacasa was a NIGHTMARE. So frustrating. Took over an hour to get in touch with someone bc we tried to have a movie night and the whole system was locked with a pin, that wasn’t left on the instructions.
The bed was NOT a queen- it was a double. My husband slept in it and I had to do the sofa bed. The mattress was lopsided on the bed and extremely uncomfortable.
There’s no central heating- only wood burning stove. The evening was fine, but overnight was feeezing.
All in all- DO NOT STAY HERE.
For what you get, it’s worth about $80/night.
Owners need to do some research on hospitality and maybe invest in some small, simple gestures to make it more pleasant.
And the Vacasa company? We won’t be using them again.

For being small, it was set up to accommodate for more than my family of 4 (myself and three kids under 10). With a large living room/great room and plenty of places to sleep, figuring out who wanted which bed/couch was the only discussion. The great room was nice, large, had plenty of seats, and just had a comfortable feel to it. The temperature could be somewhat controlled with the furnace and windows being opened. The kitchen, though small, was nice and had a decent selection of kitchenware. The kitchen appliances all worked just fine. One bedroom had a very nice set up with the second having “enough.” I believe a murphy bed would better suit a small space rather than having a sitting room with a fold down couch. It was adequate but wouldn’t be my first choice for a bedroom downstairs. I wasn’t very impressed with the TV either. It was small for the living room/great room. I think the area where it’s at is also a misuse of space. I understand it’s difficult with 3 walls of windows, but a setup next to the furnace or even hanging it from the beams or ceiling where it was would be better options. Also, with a lack of streaming options, bring your own streaming devices. My last (small) gripe is there was no cord left for the vacuum (and it was a very specific cord). I don’t know if that is the management company, but it’s next to the beach… it’s a rental… leave the vacuum cord please. At least I got to sweep.
The location itself is very pleasant. Quiet and easy to find. It is a short drive (just a few minutes) to the shops and the beach. Cyucos is about 15 minutes away but highway one is just a straight shot.
Overall it was a pleasant stay in this cozy yet accommodating house.

The location of the home was very convenient and the house was what we expected. On the other hand, when we encountered a security issue with the home dealing with the local management was a nightmare.
