About this house rental
Reflect on mother’s nature’s beauty from M&M retreat, a 3 bedroom + loft vacation rental home tucked away in Fenely Forest on Lake Glenville. Perfect for a family retreat, this home sleeps up to 8 and features 2 viewing decks where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the view of the lake or you can roast marshmallows at the outdoor firepit where memories with family and friends can be made. The Lower level deck can be enjoy even if raining out as it is covered.
Main level features the kitchen with full appliances, living room with smart tv, bedroom with queen bed, loft with double bed that can be accessed from pull down attic loft stairs where you wake up to one of the prettiest views in the morning. You will also find one of two bathrooms; main level bath has a shower tub combo. There is also a large deck that spans the length of the house. You can enjoy grilling and dining or relax on a lounge chair and take in the beautiful view. Living room has a tv and dvd player where you can relax indoors and watch a movie.
Lower-level has been completely remodeled and features 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, there is a bathroom with shower, family room and laundry room, where a beverage fridge is located. Enjoy watching a movie on the flat screen smart tv or walk out to the lower deck and sit and relax on the sofa and daybed or you can play darts, ring game or giant Jenga. Lower level deck can be enjoyed even on rainy days.
Why is Lake Glenville such a great vacation destination? During the summertime as the temperature rises in other parts of the country, the average daytime temps are in the 70s to low 80s and dip to 50s and 60s in the evenings. There are several waterfalls on the lake that are fun to boat to. Boats rentals can be made at the local marina.
Guest can enjoy and afternoon of tubing, waterskiing and kayaking on the lake. Enjoy the amazing sunrises and sunset and sightings of eagles and deer that live all around. Short ride into the town of Cashiers where you can find the grocery store, dine at any of the many restaurants, or spend the afternoon of shopping and strolling through the park. Highlands is a 25 mins drive where you can spend the afternoon wandering down main street and dine at any of the fantastic restaurants.
There is amazing hiking, golf courses, rafting, gem mining, horseback riding and much more. Boat Rental can be made at Signal Ridge Marina

The views of Lake from both decks are beautiful and peaceful. Loved our coffee from top deck in the cool morning. We loved sitting on lower deck at night with propane fire pit. Interior is comfortable and nicely appointed. Beautifully landscaped back and side yard around fire pit. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Clean and comfortable cabin. Great area for walking and close hiking opportunities. Shopping and restaurants about 15-20 minutes away. Very well stocked!

We loved our stay at M&M retreat. The place was lovely and location was awesome with great Lake views. We really enjoyed the outdoor space with an awesome fire pit and amazing decks. The house itself was extremely clean, very comfy, beautifully furnished, and had everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely be going back!

Beautiful property with lake views. Lots of room to spread out. Upstairs and downstairs living rooms with smart TVs. Large furnished decks on both levels. Well equipped kitchen. Great fire pit for evening fires. Everything was as described or better!

We love, love M&M Retreat! Perfect cabin for our getaway with a beautiful view of the lake. Secluded cabin in the woods and the owners were responsive and friendly. Cabin was very clean and we loved the large upstairs deck - great for our morning cup of coffee. I’d highly recommend anyone looking for a getaway in the Cashiers area to check out this cabin. You won’t be disappointed!

Our VRBO was amazing. The home was decorated very well. Cozy area to watch tv downstairs. The home was very clean. Beautiful views of the lake and the double decker decks were great place to relax. Fire pit was really nice and I give the property a 10.

The property was clean, cute, and so comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the boats go by and catching the sunset. It is a bit of a drive on the dirt road, but being familiar with the area I know if you want a long range view you have to drive a bit. Super sweet spot!

The M & M Retreat is a special place. Fully remodeled, modern yet cozy decor, nestled in the timber overlooking Lake Glenville. Several deck spaces to enjoy the outdoors, view the lake, and relax. We loved the games they provided- corn hole, darts and giant Jenga- lots of family fun! The kitchen is so well stocked with everything you need and the dishes and cookware are high quality! You will love the excellent communication the owners provide- super quick to respond to any questions as well as providing a wealth of information for the area. M & M Retreat is truly a special place and was perfect for our family who have kids at Clemson. Thank you so much!

3 girlfriends stayed at this wonderful home for our annual getaway. It was perfect. We had everything we would need and it was SO organized and clean. We each had a bedroom with VERY comfortable beds. Our favorite spot was the below balcony area with the bed swing overlooking the lake. We will definitely be returning "next year". Great house, beautiful views of the lake, had EVERYTHING we needed! Would definitely rent again. The WiFi connection was not what we hoped for but other than that, lovely gem!!!

Great Place to Relax
Beautiful house with view of the lake. Went up with wife and 3 kids and house was spacious and beautifully decorated. My kids LOVED the bedroom secret loft! Was perfect place for a family and relaxing vacation. Can’t wait to go back! Hosts were extremely responsive and attentive to any questions. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway with excellent accommodations.
This is such a beautiful place! We were so lucky to find this cabin available through Memorial Day. The full wrap around deck was a perfect outdoor space with a view. It was exactly what we needed to relax and disconnect for a while. We even enjoyed a nap on the hanging day bed on the lower deck floor! And there was nothing better than getting a fire going in the fire pit after sunset to end a great day. Location was excellent for finding accessible hikes nearby - beautiful waterfalls in the area! Getting into town was easy when we decided to sneak away for lunch at a local restaurant. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Excellent size for large groups and families or even a getaway for two (like us!). Margy & Michael were very responsive and accommodating with any questions we had ahead of time or during our stay. Very much looking forward to our next visit - we will definitely return!
