It was okay, but probably wouldn’t return in a hurry

Nice location. Fair price but what you expect at least is a nice and comfortable bed for a good night sleep. Our stay was passable. If you are a young traveller who is short you would probably rate this 7-8/10.

Incorrect address or inaccurate on booking.com Not well sign posted. Needs a clear sign at the top of the drive and the correct name on google and address. Loads of unnecessary automated emails. Lack of signal made it harder to find. Bed is incredibly uncomfortable, cheap and thin with springs that dig into you. Did not get a good night sleep for the two days vacation we were there. Bed is too short for anyone over 5’ 8”. Bed is framed so you cannot even hang your feet over. Room smells musty. No towels (probably should have read this but fairly standard thing now days). Microwave was dirty and had not been cleaned. Toilet seat was broken. Clearly customers have complained many years ago but the faults remain which is not good enough.

Great dog friendly log cabin

Cosy and well equipped (bring your own bottle opener) log cabin in peaceful location. Lovely to hear the birds and the running stream. Had everything we needed for a get away from it all trip but still only approximately 5 mins by car from Braunton with its restaurants and cafes. Would definitely stay again.

The mattress was far too soft for me but my husband was happy with it.

This property was peaceful and the scenery and wildlife were absolutely stunning. An A class stay.

The property was clean, warm and everything was as it should be. What I loved more than anything was the quiet and the wildlife and steam that surrounded it. The views are amazing!

I love every aspect. The only opinion I can give to be taken into consideration was there should be a guest book to allow guests to write about their stay as well as review. It boosts moral not only for future guests but for the staff who catered for my every need!

Beautiful location.... stunning and quiet.

Needs a form of ventilation ie small window. Fabulous bifold doors but we had dogs who we ensure could not roam freely and therefore could not have the doors open always. Especially as the other two studios had free wandering dogs. Also, very pernickety, I know..... the tv for viewing was too high for comfort.

Unmitigated disaster

Terrible access, no welcoming pack, worn out mattress, mattress protector had blood stain and other stains ( we photographed it) wood burner with two logs, no kindling ! Television mounted so high uncomfortable to watch. The people staying next door had the same poor quality mattress, when we spoke to them.

Absolutely brilliant and fairly priced

It’s an absolutely amazing property I can’t fault it, it’s in a brilliant location and the hosts were amazing in helping me decorate the cabin for me and my partner’s anniversary.

The only slight thing they could improve on is that the settee is a little uncomfortable. But to be honest with the view we weren’t sat there much anyway only when we were using the log burner.

A cabin in the country side to relax close to town and beaches

Loved the location, the property was really well thought out and if I was fit and healthy would have been perfect.

Unfortunately I have issues with my health and found the modern furniture hard. I hadn’t realised everything was so low. I had a problem getting of the sofa, bed and toilet, a grab handle in the shower room would have been an advantage.

The cute little cabin was amazing 🤩 well equipped with everything we needed.. crockery cutlery cleaning products.. the cabin was also spick and span. I would love to visit again.

Very charming little cabin 😊, supplied with everything you need. My son was absolutely exited to see the bunker bed located on top of the bathroom., and climbed the stairs numerous times 😂. View was amazing, cabin surrounded by fields and horses, very peaceful .

Great, cabin stayed at a perfect temperature all night for a wonderful night's sleep.

The cabin was well laid out for three adults to sleep comfortably and was spotlessly clean. Loved being able to book and pay online and check in whenever we wanted by getting the key from a keybox. Also, pre-arrival communication was excellent.

The log burner had a nice stack of logs but needed either some kindling or an axe for it to be usable and the outdoor picnic bench would have been improved by having some lighting available

I loved everythink, apart from minor things, I got up on check out day and didn't want too leave, that's how beautiful it was, horses are friendly and just come for a fuss,

The mattress wasn't comfortable, no fire lighters to start fire, know gas in the lighter for log burner, just little things the place was amazing and I'll deffo stop again

Lovely, rural, great standard of dog friendly accommodation and good value for money.

Very rural area, beautiful country lanes, lovely birdsong and horses neighing occasionally. Amazing night stars as no light polution. Cabin is compact but great for a few nights stay. It is well equipped, was very clean, plenty of hot water and the shower is powerful. phone socket available in the lounge area. The cabin has an efficient heater near the bed which kept the whole cabin warm and although quite chilly outside we did not need to use the wood burner. Best part for us is it is a good quality dog friendly accommodation.

Cabins are quite close to each other so extra blinds would help ensure privacy. Bathroom has a sliding door which can be difficult to manoeuvre (I got stuck 3 times!) and very close to the bed which might not offer enough privacy. TV was too high on the wall to allow comfortable viewing. A little bedside table or shelf would have been a great addition. addressing these comments would make the accommodation even better and should not deter anyone from staying. There are no walks within the grounds and the speed of drivers on the roads means you can't safely walk dogs.

Then location was quiet and lovely views. Good value for its money. Lovely little cabin. TV had good channels and netflix to log in too and WiFi was strong

Weekend break

Clean, comfortable, quiet and cosy for 2. Woodburner was great. ( bring your own fire lighters, matches and some kindling). Nestled right by an Equestrian Centre. Everything we needed was in the cabin. Towns and beaches close by for shopping (you have to drive 20 mins). Really enjoyed and would come back.

Door does stick a little.

Enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful stay. Short drives to Braunton, Barnstaple. and coast

Nice, secluded setting with meadows and trees in front. Very quiet and peaceful. We are walking the coastal path and it was 10 or so minutes to the sections we wanted to do. 20ish to Croyde.

There were two key safes - initially confusing. A name on the cabin would help. There's virtually no phone signal for re-reading joining instructions, so memorise! The wifi was great but the code could be more precise.
