About this house rental
Escape to "Snowmass Lodge" to the breathtaking views of Angel Fire and experience mountain living at its finest in our charming retreat. Tucked away, our 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home offers the perfect blend of mountain charm mixed with modern comforts. Featuring TWO kitchens and TWO living areas, a loft, hot tub, pool table, fire pit, grill and smoker, kid’s playroom, & two wood-burning fireplaces. As a toxin-free home we provide clean soaps, cleaners, organic bedding, coffee, cooking spices.
We have an easy sloped driveway with ample parking. There is plenty of parking on the main floor and also below on the lower entrance. Additionally, the garage is available for parking your vehicle which you’ll appreciate in the winter.
Guest access: Access to the home will be through the front door smart keypad and garage side door.
SPACE
When you walk into the home via the keypad entry you will find the main living area, main kitchen and dining table, outside the sliding door you will find the covered deck with a dining table and outdoor seating for 13.
BEDROOMS
On the main floor you will find 3 bedrooms: the primary suite with a king bed and primary bathroom with a full sized tub and walk-in shower and double vanity. There are two more bedrooms featuring queen beds and beautiful views out of the windows. There is a bathroom in the hallway on the main floor as well.
From the front door, going down the stairs you will find the ground floor which features three bedrooms. The "bunk room" has a queen bed and 4 twin beds along with the closet which has 2 pack n plays available for use.
The other two bedrooms have queen beds and premium organic bedding. There are two full bathrooms on the ground floor, one that has been fully renovated and has a shower and the other has a shower/tub combination.
Bedrooms are fully stocked with pillows, organic cotton linens, and blankets. Bathrooms are stocked with non-toxic toiletry items like shampoo/conditioner and organic cotton towels.
LIVING / KITCHEN
There are two living areas in this home, on the ground and main floors. Both have a vast amount of seating and large tvs with Roku for streaming. There is also a loft up the stairs from the main floor with a couch and space to hang out and play games. The pool table also converts into a table as well where adults can play a game while the kids play in the kid's closet.
The main and ground floors both have fully stocked / full sized kitchens with a fridge, gas stove/oven, sink, dishwasher, dishes, and dining tables with seating for 8.
OUTDOOR:
The covered deck has a beautiful view of the mountains and golf course and is perfect for watching deer graze morning and evening on the abundance of seating options available. The propane grill is available for big family dinners as well as a smoker with a dining table that seats 8, bar stools for 3, and a table for 6 on the deck. Head downstairs and through the ground floor sliding doors for roasting s'mores at the fire pit, or hop into the hot tub after a day of hitting the trails whether it is on a mountain bike or skis.
Located next to a green belt in the winter gives you access to an amazing sledding hill within walking distance for you and the kids!

The loft featuring the kid’s play area is up the stairs with the pool table, and desk for working if needed. We have games, kid’s toys, puzzles, and 2 tv’s for your entertainment with high-speed internet.

In both of the fully stocked kitchens we offer filtered water, organic spices and coffee, unrefined oils, and throughout the home the soap/shampoo/body wash and cleaners are made with non-toxic ingredients.

we had the best time at the mountain home with our family. There was plenty of space and plenty of fun and exciting adventure awaiting. The house was clean and accommodating. The views were spectacular. The rest was deep and rich. The hot tub was a nice addition, especially in the cool evenings.being in the mountains felt extremely peaceful and off the beaten path however, the amenities that we desired like restaurants and grocery stores were just minutes away. What a dream! I highly recommend.

Wonderful layout. We had a 1.5 year old and the gates on stairs were appreciated. House was well equipped for a large group, 3 families. Krystina Hamm was very responsive and detailed instructions made our exit easy

We had a family get together with 14 adults and kids. The house and kitchen in particular was very well stocked with everything you could need for a large family that likes to cook! The kids had a blast and the pool table took us back to our days in college when this used to be a weekly activity. The checkout process was straight forward and reasonable (don’t leave dirty dishes and leave all used towels in the showers). The location is close to restaurants, activities and grocery store. Overall, it was one of the better if not best VRBO’s we have rented. Thank you for making our stay memorable!!

What a wonderful house. Very clean and organized. Everything we needed was in the house. We had a large group and spent every being on the beautiful patio. We are already planning next years mtb trip in the same house.

WOW!! The house was absolutely perfect for our family's July 4th holiday weekend!! We were traveling with our grandchildren for the first time, and EVERYTHING that we could have hoped for was provided from highchairs to children's dining utensils! The house was beautiful, and the scenery was so lovely from the picturesque window view. The kitchen had everything that we needed and more, and the deck and children's playroom were an incredible bonus!! The management was so helpful and quick to respond to questions. We would love to stay here again in the winter! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!! We highly recommend this property for all ages, but it is especially perfect for families with children of all ages! We will definitely rent this home again!! Thank you!

We had a large family of 18 who look forward to skiing most every winter. AngelFire has become our favorite place. Snowmass is one of our favorite homes. There are plenty of comfortable beds in bedrooms. No need to sleep on couches. It’s perfect for large families. The loft is not a bedroom. It is a great place for children. There is a pool table, stocked with games & best of all, a space for the small ones ages 3 to 7 with books, black boards & a wipe board, table & chairs & a play kitchen. Also, two fully stocked kitchens on both floors. The location is perfect, close to the lifts & a short drive to the Village Market. We have stayed in this home 2 years in a row. You won’t be disappointed. The two youngest members of our family said, on the last day, we don’t want to leave, we want to stay here forever!

This house is the most well stocked house we have ever rented. Besides the usual items, they provided various kinds of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate along with plenty of spices and cooking items like olive oil etc They also had plenty of storage containers, trash bags, dish and laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and all items for young children! It’s also the most organized house with everything labeled and excellent instructions for operating everything! They even have sleds in the garage for the sledding hill right beside the house! My only suggestion is putting TVs in the bedrooms because almost everyone in our group goes to sleep with the TV on, but we managed just fine without them by using our iPads to stream shows. Having 2 kitchens was awesome and the room with 1 queen and 4 twins was perfect because in a room like this one, so many houses have bunk beds, which no one in our group likes.

We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful! It had everything we could’ve needed available to us! We did bring a tv/dvd player for the bunk room so tired kiddos could watch tv and relax before bed. The sledding hill was a huge bonus too! Also the beautiful deer family that came by every night was pretty awesome!

Very clean and well kept home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The location was just a short ride to the ski lift. I would definitely recommend this home!

Perfect place for fifteen members of our family to meet up for a sharing week. Plenty of room and since the house is divided, those who wished to stay up late could be on the lower level and others up stairs in peace snd quiet. Two kitchens made that even better.
Taos, horseback riding, grocery, etc all handy.

Lovely place for a big group
We were very pleased with the Snowmass lodge. It was very well organized, everything very well labeled with many renovations, and thoughtfully designed for people with younger children. It was really helpful to have 2 refrigerators and kitchen areas for a large group. The main downside was a bit of a musty smell in the basement, otherwise the house was clean and nicely renovated. We stayed in July and the indoor temp of the house fluctuated from 72-85 degrees although it was in the forties during the night- although the lowest level always stayed quite cool. We were very grateful to stay at this house!

Family ski vacation
Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. We had excellent communication from the time we rented the home until the day we left. The home was beautiful, sleeping accommodations were perfect for our large group, the house was well stocked with everything we needed. The sledding hill next to the home was a big hit with our grandkids & ski conditions were the best we have had in years since we have been going to Angel Fire with fresh natural snow every day! A good time was had by all & we would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting during any season of the year.

Just like home
This place was everything we have ever wanted in a vacation rental. We could leave our house and be dropped off at the ski area in less than 5 minutes. Our babies had everything they needed to make them feel at home and parents at ease. We all loved sledding right out the back door. We will definitely be back next year.

Great location and property!
We brought 3 generations together for New Year’s and skiing. Loved the layout, which allowed the adults and kids to have their own space. Hot tub was a hit. Garage was so handy with the heavy snow we experienced
and ski equipment. Cheryl was extremely responsive and helpful!

One of the best we've experienced
Our group (8 adults, 7 children) agreed this was one of the better VRBOs we have rented. It is very thoughtfully equipped and furnished, ideal for a large group such as ours. We often bring our own cooking knives and big pots, but this facility was very complete. It was decorated for Christmas nicely. The location was good for skiing and the end of the road setting worked great with the kids. I highly recommend for you large group.

Everything was well thought out. Kitchen well-equipped. Very comfortable. Gorgeous. Only issue was problem with hot water. But property manager called in a plumber who improved situation. However the owners recommend waiting 15 minutes between showers. For a large group like ours, this was a challenge. We had a super time in spite of this!

Angel Fire Summer Stay
The house is really nice. Great for large family or even two families given the two kitchens. Host was extremely responsive. Only issue was that a couple of doors didn’t lock and a couple window screens need to be fixed or replaced.

We are a large family from Texas & Nevada….11 adults & 5 kids….13 yr. old, 5 yr. old, 2 yr. old twins & our newest is 4 mo. old. This home was so perfect for us in every way! The description is not exaggerating when it says they love kids!
From safety gates, pack & plays, playroom and even an adorable kids korner cabinet in the kitchen! Even the upper deck was kid friendly with no stairs to worry about.
The pool table in the loft above the main floor living room was a big hit! Having an entire house downstairs away from the noise was so perfect for the sleeping little ones.
We have stayed in many vacation homes in several states. This house is far and away the best equipped one we’ve ever had. It has everything you can imagine! Both kitchens provide everything but the food!
We loved the hot tub and the fire pit for s’mores!
