Upon arrival, the property was not cleaned - there were hairs everywhere and greasy dirt on the kitchen surface, there were toys and old socks behind the sofa, the bedsheets were not changed (a few of us caught bed bugs!), the bathrooms were extremely dirty and soiled with the previous guests urine, the toilet seats were broken and we had to clean the property ourselves just to make it liveable. The microwave was unusable for the whole duration as it was still dirty from the previous guests full of oil and burnt food residues - it also smelt when it was opened. There were not sufficient towels, cutlery (3 tea spoons in total) or pans (2 pans), considering the property is advertising for 8-9 guests. We could carry on with the list of issues, faults and hazards. The worst was that the host did not care to reply to our complaints or Booking.com within the 24hours procedural timeframe.
The host is unfriendly and sent his unwell 'cleaner' (who actually turned out to be a cook who was suffering from a stomach ache) to clean the property when we complained - she was unable to do the job and immediately left. In the end, we requested to leave early when the roof started to leak through the light switch - a genuine health and fire hazard (which the host was well aware about and admitted that this happens often). He agreed to let us leave early!
All in all - this is an unclean, unhygienic property which promises a lot, it costs more than the average and the host is the most arrogant and unfriendly. We have pictures to prove our claims and Booking.com have also received these pictures. PLEASE AVOID IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY YOUR TIME IN PINNER!!
