CAUTION: The property is protected by a break wall which includes big boulders and a retaining wall. Walking on these boulders or the retaining wall is very dangerous. Swimming or diving from the property is not safe.
NATURE: Being on the water, like all other properties, our property also attracts flies and bugs during certain times of the year. We had such an amazing stay at this cottage.
It's a lovely spot right on Lake Erie (what a view!) with very quiet neighbours, and little road traffic.
This beautiful cottage has everything you could want in a "home away from home" and has great open concept living areas that are large enough to accommodate at least 5 adults and a doggie, with plenty of space to relax together or have some privacy. The backyard deck overlooks Lake Erie, with 2 open sitting areas, one of which is elevated and has a covered pergola with blooming flowers. Lots of fireflies at night.
Sue and Rakesh were excellent hosts and very responsive to our questions, and make great suggestions on places to eat and sightsee - and everything is within a 15 minute drive!
Thank you for making this such a memorable vacation for our family!

Cottage was just as described. Beautiful view of the lake. It was very roomy for 6 adults. Would book again.

We traveled from western Michigan to do some birding. Leaving home before 6 AM precluded us from acquiring the entry code. We had to hunt for a place to get WiFi to get it. We phoned and left a message no answer from owner for 24 hours. Heating problem—again 24 hour wait—no helpful reply. Cold and no extra blankets.

Beautiful view and amazing sunrise
Just returned after a 6 night stay. The cottage was spacious enough when our adult kids joined us on the weekend and more than we needed the rest of the time. Kitchen is equipped but could be better.
Furnishings were sufficient. Bedrooms small and has a really narrow quirky hall to access two of them.
The deck, amazing lake view and the sunrise were the best! fenced in yard was a total bonus as we had our pooch with us.
It’s disappointing that you can’t really access the beautiful lake in front of you. There was a sewage smell one morning that made us clear out for a bit.
The deck could benefit from a lounge chair or two to catch the rays or nap.
Overall an enjoyable stay in a very quiet area.

Comfortable & spacious with a host that's gracious
We celebrated a winter birthday weekend with family at this well-kept and well-equipped lakeside cottage. Spacious interior is well laid out, separating quiet sleeping quarters from dining/living celebrating areas. Ample space for a seated meal. Appreciated having bar equipment available for cocktails. Basked in the sun on the huge lakeside deck, and in evening warmed up near the outdoor fire pit and later indoors near the imposing fireplace. Had trouble on arrival with the electronic lot combo, but the host responded right away when contacted and resolved the issue. Hoping to find time for a summer visit.

Lovely, spacious cottage
We had a wonderful stay at Sue’s Lakeside Haven. There was plenty of room for us and our three teens. The cottage itself was clean, modern and well-appointed. The view was magnificent and the fire pit at the side yard was perfect for late-evening s’mores. We hope to come back next year!

Refreshing, restful weekend!!
We had a great weekend stay! The cottage was clean, welcoming, and beautifully decorated. The check-in process was straightforward with Sue emailing us the door lock code the day prior to our visit. It was a pleasant surprise to find a variety of very good restaurants in the nearby Leamington -- something you don't typically expect in small towns. Despite the snowy weather, my 1 year-old-son, my wife and I ventured out to visit the Wheatley provincial park nearby where we enjoyed a pleasant hike along the lake. Overall it was a refreshing and restful weekend! Looking forward to going back in the Summer!

Best cottage stay yet!
This was the perfect getaway for our anniversary! Our expectations were exceeded and we will definitely be booking again. The view is just spectacular, and we enjoyed the many outdoor seating options. The house is fully equipped with everything you would need for a cozy stay and there are beautiful touches everywhere! My husband and I loved how private and spacious this place was and were impressed by how clean and organized everything was. Sue was a lovely host to connect with and was very responsive to messages. Thanks for making our weekend extra special!

great getaway
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The deck is so private and the views incredible. Was lucky to have warm weather and was outside all day. Once the sun moved West I was able to enjoy the bubbling water feature at the front! Sunrises were amazing and I was able to enjoy the big soaker tub one morning. Pictures are spot on for this cottage and the host's are lovely to communicate with

October nature get-away
We had a great time at Pulley Road cottage. It was immaculate, modern, nestled on the shore of Lake Erie it is a perfect get-away spot. The sound of the waves after spending our days hiking at Pt Pelee, Hillman Marsh, and Jack Miners was so relaxing. We found everything needed to cook our meals. Sat by the outdoor fire and watched the stars above. The October morning chill was taken away by the gas fireplace.
