An absolutely perfect property. The home was so clean, everything properly labeled and explained. Perfect location to Grand Marais. Beds were very comfortable, furniture as well, lots of games and provided a well thought out book of expectations and things to do. Only suggestion, since we are all in our sixties, we found showers slippery. Perhaps maybe something out on bottom to make it less slippery.

We typically gather once a year for a nordic skiing adventure. With the lack of snow this year, Lutsen was a perfect location.....some of us went alpine skiing, we all went hiking on the Superior Hiking Trail. This lovely home was perfect for relaxing, making meals together and reconnecting.

I went up with a group of guys for a ski trip. Literally a perfect property for our needs. The pictures don’t do it justice—incredible common space, comfortable beds, and great access to the slopes.

My family has vacationed in the Lutsen area for over 30 years, and the VRBO was in a perfect location for all the activities we've enjoyed over the years. The cabin was everything we expected. Would definitely stay again.

The home is well cared for and well equipped. Communication with the owners was very good. The house very comfortably sleeps six adults. The kitchen and common areas are great for entertaining. The game selection is excellent. We would definitely recommend for a weekend trip to the North Shore.

We stayed at Fairway Pines Lodge for 10 days and have made another reservation to stay again. The location just off Ski Hill Rd. and on Superior National Golf Course is fantastic. The home is equipped with quality kitchen items and the water is great for drinking (not always the case with homes on the North Shore). The porch is lovely for warm, breezy days. The owners are responsive and kind. It's easy to get comfortable here. Highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our time. Main living area was good for what we needed. Enjoyed the fireplace. Plenty of utensils in the kitchen.
Very clean. Could use more lighting in the kitchen. And new fry pans. Screen porch sleeping is a little cold in the winter, but plenty of extra blankets provided as well as space heaters.
I would recommend this home if you’re looking for a spacious home for a ski group up to 8 people. We had a great time.
Hosts were easy to work with.

The only issue we had was the deck was not shoveled. to get to the grill it took quite a bit of time to break up the ice to get the grill cover off

We and our adult kids stayed for five days in February. We enjoyed skiing at Lutsen, Nordic skiing at Onion River trails, snowmobiled the many awesome trails, and a little hiking. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils that allowed us to have breakfast and dinner at the cabin. (lunch on the slopes and trails). Nice beds and bedrooms had plenty of storage for suitcases, etc. Enjoyed wine tasting at the North Shore Winery.

Spent a long weekend in Lutsen with 5 of my friends and we had an amazing time at the property. Walking distance to the winery, golf course and the ski resort. House was stocked well beyond our expectation with flatware and cooking essentials. We made all our meals at the house and had everything we needed.

Family vacation (brothers and spouses). Wonderful area for hiking, close to several beautiful state parks, winery in the immediate area with live music was fun. The house was exactly what we needed with plenty of room to spread out, play games, cook up a feast or two. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed staying in this vacation home! Lots of room to spread out, listing matched perfectly with what to expect. Appreciated that we were able to bring our dog with too!
Only “gripe” would be the checkout process, which included having to strip the beds and make sure the clean dishes in the dishwasher were put away. Just feel that should be included in what we are paying for to stay there.

The chalet is beautiful. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, except body lotion/soap in the showers. We were even greeted by a complimentary bottle of wine! Place was very clean with comfortable beds and linens. It is next to a golf course, but it was quiet and peaceful except for short time of mowing in the morning. Kids played corn hole game they have and we made smores over the bonfire every night. They provide the wood. Convenient location for Lutsen Mountain activities and nearby Grand Marais. Plenty of room for our family of seven. We loved our stay!

We are a small family of six, ranging in age from 9 to 81.
It was a perfect location for our varied activities, from hiking, biking trails, alpine slide, shopping, restaurants, winery, and of course the great Lake Superior.
The home was spacious with room for all For us the kitchen and dining area is most important.. The kitchen was fully outfitted with all the necessary items for cooking etc. The dishes were complete sets of matching items (not always the case for some VRBO ) Everything worked very well. It was a very relaxing and quiet setting. We enjoyed our time there.

Lutsen Family Time
Location and features are great. Area is nice and quiet. Everything was in good working order. We had 6 adults and 3 children, with 2 pac-and-play units provided. KItchen facility was great -- we had everything we needed. Everyone enjoyed the deck everyday until the mosquitos became more persistent than desired in the evenings!
Would have liked bath mats and a few more hand towels.

Nice Long Weekend
Our family had a wonderful long weekend at Fairway Pines. The house feels like home and was very comfortable for our family of 4. Mom & Dad loved the screen porch & the kids loved the loft area. The kitchen is well stocked for any meals you want to cook or grill ‘at home’. The house is 5 minutes to Superior National Golf Course, Lutsen Mountain, paved bike trails & the North Shore Winery. We enjoyed playing corn hole and just forgetting about our daily grind. A perfect getaway!
