We took our boys and their wives for a short getaway to Pismo. The house was just as described- with a lot more comforts than expected. We would definitely stay again- as long as the fix the trash can in the kitchen. The broken lid was annoying.

Here is my review and I would give the rental 4 stars. I would expect some nice amenities in order to give them 5 stars and this place had the bare minimum so didn't qualify for a top notch review.
Nice, bright and airy space overall. The home was clean and the location is good. The beds are comfortable. The coffee service was excellent.
However, there are some deficiencies that should be addressed:
house was over-perfumed with plug in air fresheners
only 4 ceramic dinner plates in a house that sleeps 6-8
melmac dinnerware is not microwaveable (heats up in microwave)
nightstand and lamp needed on both sides of the queen bed and king bed
bedside lamp needed in twin room
luggage stands should be provided in all of the bedrooms
additional occasional chairs needed in living room - seating for 6-8 people needed
ice maker not hooked up so ice cube trays should be provided
water tastes funky - perhaps change filter on filtered water spigot?
no additional linens for extra pillows or extra bed
pillows are a big lump of foam - hard and flat - so some soft, feather-like pillows should be provided.
it would be much more convenient to have 2 garage door openers since we had 2 cars coming and going at different times

Had a great time utilizing this house. Had 3 dogs with us and the hosts were awesome and very accommodating. The house has a great location and we would love to stay there again!

Nice place to stay. 1 block from the local park. Longer but nice walk to the beach, or drive (there is a free parking lot at the beach). Doggie door to the fenced yard! We always felt safe.

Would be nice to have a queen bed instead of a double.
May want to provide info regarding doggy door- it is only for very small dogs. One main reason we stayed there was to accommodate our golden retriever, but she could not use the door. It all worked out, but would have been nice to know before.

Home is compact but quite comfortable. And the puppies loved the carpet. Dog door was also an unexpected bonus. We enjoyed the stay and would certainly recommend and come back.

The Santa Tomas house was great for a family and dogs. The house was very clean. The beds were soft and comfortable. Kitchen was great for preparing turkey for thanksgiving. Kitchen was well stocked with all necessities Nice to have 3 parking spots bathrooms were clean and towels were stocked. The house is centrally located to so many restaurants and shopping and beach! Steps were not good for older people as it is a 2 story home. Would love to stay again!

Easy check-in. Clean. Good location near restaurants, grocery stores, shopping and banks. My daughter, two granddaughters (ages 25 and 28), and I enjoyed playing games by the fireplace. The coffee station was the icing on the cake! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. Hope to return again some day.

Overall great space in a great location. Garage is massive and there is plenty of space with two cars in the garage. Street parking is also easy if you have more than two cars or don’t want to deal with running into the house to open the garage.
We only had one towel per person and a few smaller hand towels. Make sure your guest count is accurate or bring extra towels.
House could use a deep clean but overall it was clean enough for our group. Access to the backyard is only through the garage, downstairs bedroom or front yard.

The house was really nice. The beds were comfy. My daughter enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings (you can see the beach). The owners made sure that everything is taken care of. Would definitely stay there again.

Beach getaway
Lovely pet friendly home with upper level living and master bedroom and additional bedrooms downstairs. Beds were comfy. Quick drive to the beach, butterfly grove and restaurants. I had to delete one star for no garage door opener otherwise a very nice stay.
