I was contacted about a week before my trip by the host telling me that she had accidentally double-booked this property (also listed on a competitors site) and that I needed to cancel the reservation to get a full refund. This was extremely stressful for me as I was left in limbo about whether I would have to cancel my business trip a few days beforehand as there were nearly no places left to stay. She was ultimately able to accommodate me and put the other guests in another unit she had. On the first night, I was abruptly woken up by someone trying to enter the unit, I imagine it was the guests in the other unit as they realized immediately but scary at the moment thinking someone was entering the unit. This is more so a converted garage into a unit. It needed a deep clean, there were multiple spiders inside, and even one that I found on my pillow the first night before I went to bed. There are critters around - every night around 3 am I was woken by something walking around on the roof of the unit, it was unsettling as it sounded like the animal was inside of the unit, extremely annoying to be woken up like that every night. The shades on the windows are somewhat see-through, not a big deal as you are in the back yard but knowing there were other guests in the unit across made me wary. Again, a bit dated but a very comfortable Sleep number bed. If you need a cheap place to crash, stay here! But don't have too high of expectations.

Diana was very responsive, friendly and helpful. She offered to upgrade us to the Cozy Cabin to accommodate another guest in the Garden Chalet. We gladly accepted. The cabin was homey and comfortable. The walk-in closet was great with nice shelving for our luggage. The gardens were beautiful. Thank you Diana!

The garden chalet was so cute! It reminded me of my childhood growing up the wine country, especially because of the eco-concious feature as far as doing laundy. The Sleep Number bed was amazingly comfortable and we looked forward to it at the end of a long day. The neighborhood was very quiet and we felt safe on our short walk to get a bite to eat. Diana is lovely, she really wants her guests to enjoy their stay and she made us feel welcome from the start, she gave clear instructions and she even had a place for us to park. We felt right at home.

The cottage was small, but MORE THAN ADEQUATE!!
I appreciated Diana’s friendly personality and hospitality!
I also appreciated the well stocked kitchenette; and the personal touches such as family antiques, scented soaps and q-tips (and the ‘closet’ with hangers)
If I come back to the area, I would very likely stay there again!!
It is also reasonably priced!

Diana and her crew were extremely accommodating- thank you! A serene and secure getaway for a single female traveling on business. The lush gardens were beautiful, and the lodging was sparkling clean! Would definitely recommend to any person in need of a safe, private space for working or relaxing after a busy day.
