Welcome to Desert Skyline! We have renovated and completely upgraded this home to create a luxurious vacation in the heart of Indio, only 25 minutes away from downtown Palm Springs. This home accommodates up to 18 guests so it's the perfect space for a large group of friends or family getaway.
Desert Skyline is located in a quaint neighbor in Indio surrounded by stunning views of the mountains. We have completely renovated the home with vacation rentals in mind. The backyard has been completely gutted and redesigned to create a luxury resort style pool, spa, and sunken fire-pit. The pool was built to allow ample seating for guests to enjoy the pool and 10-person spa while still being close to the fire pit and tanning shelf. Within the pool itself, we have included 5 pool stools to create a swim up bar connecting to the sunken fire pit. We have ensured maximum use of our space to allow for ample seating by adding 4 Lounge Ledger in-pool chaise and 6 additional chaise lounge chairs lined up by the pool. We built a large solid patio cover attached to the side of the home to create space for additional seating and entertainment. The BBQ island with a 32" Blaze stainless steel grill, wet bar, and dining table is constructed with durable concrete to give the space a raw modern appeal. Simply put, Desert Skyline is the perfect entertainer's paradise.

This home accommodates up to 18 guests with 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and a bonus room that is used as an additional room. Additional spaces include a fully stocked kitchen, living space, dining space, laundry room, and 2-car garage. We provide a starter kit for your stay. This includes towels for the amount of guests allowed at the home, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Further needed items must be purchased yourself.

Safely Damage Waiver: As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide you with $1500 worth of coverage for accidental contents damage or property damage. This means you can vacation with the peace of mind that you wont be unknowingly charged after your check out for minor accidental damages that may happen during your stay. All we ask is that you inform us of any damage so that we can file the claim with Safely.
Payment Terms: A valid credit card is required to be kept on file upon reservation. A member of our team will reach out to you upon booking to update your reservation guest portal with a valid credit card. The actual reservation payment is processed by VRBO. For most bookings 50% is due upon booking and the remaining 50% is due 60 days before check in. If your check in is less than 60 days away, VRBO may ask for the entire reservation amount upfront. We have no control over VRBO payment terms; please reach out to VRBO for any questions regarding the payment schedule.
Security Deposit: There is a $750 security deposit placed on the credit card on file as a pre-authorized hold. This is not a charge, but only a hold on the credit card. Pre-authorized hold is released 3 days after checkout provided there are no costs for which renter is responsible for such as: code compliances fines; missing or damaged linens, towels and small appliances; and costs not covered by our Safely insurance waiver. Renter hereby grants consent for Manager to charge Renter’s Card for any of the above damages or costs.
Outdoor Noise Limits: All units are equipped with Minut volume tracking devices. These devices track decibel levels, but do not record sounds. Amplified noise or music is not allowed outside at anytime of day. Quiet hours are from 9pm-8am Sunday-Thursday and 10pm-8am Friday-Saturday, during which all noise is prohibited even if it is coming from inside the home. Any other outdoor noise must be kept to a reasonable level during Quiet Hours. These are city regulations and we must abide by them to keep our short term rental license. Upon the first notification from the Helios team of a noise violation, we will reach out to the Guest to take corrective action. If the Guest is unresponsive or if no corrective action is taken, Guest may be liable to a $1000 charge. Furthermore, if code enforcement goes to the property and issues a citation, Guest will be responsible for paying the entire citation amount. Guest authorizes manager to charge credit card on file for any fines issued by code enforcement or any charges for breaking noise policy.
Cancellations: Cancellation policy is more flexible for bookings made through our website than for bookings made through VRBO. On VRBO, for any cancellations made 60 days or more from check in, you will receive a 50% refund. For any cancellations made within 60 days from check in, you will receive no refund. If the reservation is cancelled with 48 hours from booking, you will receive a full refund as long as check in is more than 30 days away. There is a strict no cancellation policy for all major holidays, major tennis or golf tournaments, and music festivals. Festivals include but are not limited to Power Trip, Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals. Special events and music festivals that are cancelled, postposed, or altered in any way, for any reason, do not qualify for any refund, alteration of the reservation or cancellation, including Acts of God, pandemics, epidemics or health outbreaks such as COVID-19. NO CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED IN THE CASE OF EARLY DEPARTURE OR CANCELLATION FOR ANY FESTIVAL BOOKING.

2. As per the City of Indio Policy for vacation rentals, outdoor Quiet Hours are between 9PM - 8AM Sunday-Thursday and 10pm-8am Friday and Saturday. During Quiet Hours amplifying devices or music is prohibited outdoors. Outside of Quiet Hours, music or other outdoor noise is acceptable as long as it is not heard past the property line.
3. Spa and pool heating are extra. $25/day for spa heating and $100/day for pool heating. Pool will be heated to 85 degrees. Please advise beforehand if you want to take advantage of pool heater as it takes 10 hours to heat the pool so it is warm by check in.
4. Early check in at 1PM ($150) and late check out at 2PM ($150) is available for an extra fee ONLY if there are no back to back bookings to allow for proper cleaning.
5. Minimum 25 years of age to book.
6. SOME pets are allowed for an extra fee ($150/pet). Please consult with the owner before bringing the pet. Maximum of 2 pets. Pets are not allowed in the pool or on the bed. While we do allow some pets with prior approval, a $500 fine will be imposed for any presence or evidence of unapproved pets found within the premises.
7. No more than 6 vehicles allowed.
8. No smoking inside the home. Evidence of smoking inside the home will result in a minimum fine of $500.
9. As per Indio City Policy, outdoor enjoyment of amenities is not allowed during Quiet Hours. This means no lounging by the pool or fire pit even if there is no outdoor noise. If code enforcement goes to the property and guests are outside past Quiet Hours they will issue a citation.
