The location was amazing and this was the only place in the area that could sleep a group our size. The beds (3 bunk beds, then 2 queen beds) were great and the host was so kind. Dingo the dog on the property was also adorable and such a good pup! There were also some really stunning look out points the host shared with us which we enjoyed immensely. We were able to check in a bit early which was also very helpful.
The down sides: we had to do some serious cleaning when we arrived the couch was covered in some mysterious dust and crumbs and the floor desperately needed to be vacuumed. We have the place a thorough cleaning when we arrived which was an easy fix, but not some thing we had planned on. The microwave was broken, this wasn’t a big deal but is good to note. The house is clearly a home (laundry already in the drier when we arrived, lots of stuff in the pantry etc.) which is totally fine! But it does make for a very different style of stay. The neighbors also had a child who spent a fair bit of our stay watching us from behind trees. Again, not bad, he looked about 8 but just be aware you may have some spectators for the morning coffee on the porch. Overall an average stay with lovely views.
