Frinton on Sea, with its wide sandy beach, has remained as uncommercialised as possible and maintained its reputation as a quiet family resort. It boasts an air of reserved gentility and has been rewarded for its outstanding cleanliness with a Blue Flag award.
The beach at Frinton is one of the most popular in Essex. It has a shelving profile which is divided up by a series of timber groynes and the sand at Frinton is perfect for making sandcastles - nice and firm. This also makes it ideal for running around on and beach games, further boosting its credentials as a fine family beach.
Leading to the beach is an extensive promenade, popular since the Victorian era and much of which is lined with colourful, old-fashioned beach huts available to hire. There is also an extensive grassy area, the Greensward, which is an ideal spot for a picnic and close to the main shopping area in Connaught Avenue.

There were NO towels which is not at all clear on your website. Luckily the cleaner had left the linin cupboard open. I think it is poor not to provide them, especially at the price! Also no dishwasher tablets- they are always provided and a pint of milk would have been nice. It is pretty standard now to provide at least milk but usually some kind of welcome gifts- wine chocs etc. It was such a beautiful house and garden in such a beautiful peaceful location those touches that make all the difference. There was also no bin in the bathroom and only an open bin in master bedroom, embarrassing to have to take personal items downstairs. It kind of seemed like someone's house that they had walked out of without thinking what a visitor might need. Nonetheless it was well equipped and furnished for 4. if there were 6 people. you would have to move the chairs around to eat at a table. Frinton is lovely and the house is so near the beach. Despite the little mentions I recommend it.

Great house in perfect location. Beautiful garden so close to the beach.
Would stay again albeit Frinton has limited food outlets.
But you will be more than happy if you book this property.
Take your own towrls as none provided. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

The house is very close to the beach and has a very safe and secluded garden if you had small dogs, like we have.
It would benefit from a revamp, as it is a little dated. The en-suite bathroom could do with a thorough clean. The property comes with NO towels, so be prepared to pack yours. The agent, though, arranged for them to be delivered immediately by the cleaner, so overall, not a problem.
We enjoyed our stay very much, as Frinton is a very nice town and the beach is amazing.

We knew the road the house is in so knew how perfect its position was. The house itself was large, warm and had many winning features such as comfortable sofas, plenty of room to feel at ease in, and 3 bathrooms which was another reason we picked it. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with more than essentials, even if the mix of crockery was somewhat eclectic. It would have helped to know more in advance about what the house had, such as the fact there was an iron and ironing board and kitchen basics like foil etc, would have saved room in the car. The beds were clean and largely comfortable but some guests found the duvets insufficient and the mattresses in the main and second bedrooms looked pretty ancient. The furnishings were quaint but a little dated for the price being charged. These were niggles really; overall we had a very successful stay and it was great being able to bring our small dog to such a pleasant holiday home.

This property was clean , comfortable and very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The three bedrooms were spacious. The living room was comfortable, with tv,video and dvd player. It was in a lovely spot close to the sea and had plenty of walks from the doorstep. Close by were clacton and walton on the naze. The main shopping area was a 10 minute walk, with main supermarkets at clacton and walton.
