About this apartment rental

Whether it's the crashing of waves, the crisp, salty air, or the perpetual tinge of fish and chips, there's something undeniably soothing about a stay by the sea. Situated in the seaside town of Hythe, this fully renovated Victorian villa has it all. Here, the beach is right on your doorstep, or in this case, through a little gate on the terrace – perfect for morning walks on the pebbly shore, coffee cup in hand. Inside, it's all high ceilings, lavish decor and a tasteful colour palette that oozes coastal-chic. Though refurbished, period features hint at the building's storied past – from the original fireplaces to the large bay windows, which offer sweeping vistas of the sea and usher sunlight to flood the space. We love the first-floor drawing room, cloaked in an elegant shade of dusty blue and boasting a balcony with breathtaking sea views. With its sumptuous bedrooms with sea views, fully-equipped kitchen, elegant dining area and cosy lounge, this home promises a want-for-nothing stay. The real treat, though, is the beach garden. Dressed to the nines with ample lounge seating, a dining area and a barbecue, you'll love spending time here. There's even an outdoor shower, ideal for rinsing off after a quick paddle. If you can bear to pull yourself away from the beach, the storied town of Hythe, with its Victorian promenade and independent boutiques, is just a few minutes away on foot. Take a stroll down the Royal Military canal, or enjoy a ride on the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch miniature steam railway. If you fancy venturing further afield, take a thirty-minute drive to the stunning Kent Downs, or a nine-minute drive to the nearby village of Sandgate.
