Nothing
I ended up canceling the reservation. The place was a dump! There was no sign to say that that was a place. The guy's phone was disconnected and when we finally got to the place we had to go back twice before he opened the door. You guys need to check out this place and take him off your your listing. Not a good look for booking.com
4.1
The staff are kind and quick to respond to concerns
The water in the shower is so cold, had a very light blanket yet it was the cold season. I didn't like the dogs there as they always barked and ran to me whenever I was getting In. You have to remind them to renew internet subscription every now and then as It ended so fast
4.1
The late evening food of rice and beans was well prepared with fresh greens aka sukumawiki.
The hosts had good conversation.
WIFI available, but one needs to remind the host to live it on.
There are 4 dogs, playful and harmless.
The place on the map and actual location did not coordinate at all. There is no sign post on the main road or on the gate to indicate the place. no outside lights on the road, making it unsafe to wonder outside.
Not a safe walking distance to the main road which was the highway. There is no bell on the gate and therefore made it difficult to get inside or contact the host.
Transport not easily available unless one walked to the main road and then crossed to the other side to get a taxi towards the city centre or the happening side of life.
Traveled towards the start of the winter/cold/rainy season in Arusha and therefore the nights were very, very cold. The room had no heating. The room was very cold. The room had crawling insects on the beddings, pillows, on the floor. I think it was not fumigated.
There was not any hot water and yet the environment was very cold. The bathroom floods when using the cold shower.
Outside the room's window was a polythene that would flap and make noise during the cold windy nights. Not good especially if one is a light sleeper.
The compound was a good size but the grass had not been cut.

The authenticity of this place was what motivated us during our stay. The attention that kelvin gave to us was all we needed.Good placw and value for money
4.1
Location was easy to walk around
The entrance bell is broken so had to wait outside for our taxi driver to call someone to let us in.
Freezing cold, low pressure showers.
There is no WiFi - had to be topped up and asked for many times.
We booked for 2 people and had 1 pillow on the bed and 1 towel, multiple times asked for more laundry, received a pillow at 935pm which was stale smelling, the towel never arrived - all linens needed cleaning as smelt damp.
There was a power cut and we had to ask for power to be topped up to turn the light on.
No mosquito nets in our rooms as listed.
Dogs running about are not trained and jump up/try to get into the room/steal shoes if left outside/bark all hours of the night.
Our shuttle to the airport was 20 minutes later than our asked collection time meaning we nearly missed our flight and had a very anxious departure from arusha.
Staff are nice enough yet don't expect organisation, things to work, or cleanliness.
4.1
The house itself is nice and would be a great stay if not so poorly maintained.
Everything was very dirty and appeared to have not been cleaned in a very long time. After using the washrooms, we realised there was no water and had to request for the water to be turned on. Water pressure was very low and no water bucket provided. Bed sheets were also visibly unclean and dusty. Kitchen was in a terrible state as well. Also, wifi did not work at all, which is fine... but good to know beforehand.
4.1
Perfect value for money! It is so cheap that you will overlook the not perfectly cleaned bathroom.
Breakfast was amazing (for USD 3), many different fresh fruit, avocado, mandazi...
Staff is super helpful, they even came with us to the Masai market 😊
The gate is not marked so we spent a long time looking for the entrance and had to ask around to help us find the hotel
4.1
property was a good price and well kept
the safari company recommended by the host was below par and I would not recommend them for any safaris.
4.1
Nice neighbourhood.
Bathroom had a leaking water tank so the whole floor was wet. Wifi was not working. The pillows were very hard. There were a lot of dogs around the house and they were barking in the morning.
4.1
This hostel was such a delight and surprise! It is new and located in a safe and gorgeous neighborhood that is such an escape from the nearby bustle of the city center. You can hear and see many tropical birds in the well maintained garden as well as the occasional monkey swinging in the trees.Kelvin will treat you like a brother.Truthfully nicest host.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff make the experience very cheerful. I love this safari adventures house and can't wait to come back again!

We loved this hostel, we stayed there only one night but we could have stayed there for weeks! It's very comfortable, well decorated, well maintained, slept super well. And the staff is so nice. For the price it is definitely worth it!Most of all, Kelvin (the host) is super kind and friendly.

The place is located near the center of Arusha. The room was clean and had a very comfortable bed.The bathroom had a strong shower.
This is the best place for safari organization too.I took Kilimanjaro day trip from here.Safari Adventures house is the secretly nice place.

This place is nice and clean with full of vibes. We were picked up very friendly and our nala room is got that wholesomeness that we expected and even looks better than on the pic.
Kelvin is the one of the not only the best hosts but also the best people we ever met.He is knowledgeable, charismatic and easy going. How he treated my husband and was priceless.
We booked a day trip to Tarangire National park from his company safari adventures. His prices are the lowest as compared to what we saw online yet the service is Professional.I am writing this Review as I am on safari Jeep. It’s unbelievable what I paid in exchange of the safari experience that i get.I will recommend you guys to the world.Safari Adventures is a real deal.Thank me later

We loved the hospitality from our host John. He was trying his best to help us out with our multiple requests. The garden area is a great place to chill.
We had to request John to renew his WiFi plan everyday. The bathroom was in the corridor (not shared yet not in the bedroom like a private bathroom) is expected to be as mentioned in the description. Also, there was a water shortage in the area when we arrived for a few hours. There was only one plug socket in the room.
4.1
I like the place, it is neat and clean. The common room and the kitchen is nice as well. You can cook your own food. The man at the reception so nice, he cooked breakfast for me as i have to leave early for the tour. Breakfast starts at 6 .I recommended the place 100 %

This płace is very nice with very helpful host. Contact on WhatsApp (calling is impossible)
The bathroom was much worse than in pictures and smaller. Getting there is very hard - no sign in front of the place but google maps location is correct

Very cute and comfortable place to stay. The showers were warm and we loved the Front-yard where the staff built a fire at night. We appreciated the breakfast options, especially the good coffee. We also loved meeting Simba,Nala,Timon and pumba. The sweetest dogs they got there. Many nice touches, beautiful and comfy beds.I highly recommend it.

This hostel is really nice with nice garden and chilling area.John was a fabulous host.We were a family of 3 and he made us feel at home. We took walks around from the house to the city and everyone was very nice. Beds were big enough and comfortable. The food was all delicious. We could stuck here for more days but we had to leave for Safari. The internet was really good,we used it when seating on bonfire,in our room and all around the house. We will come back here after safari and everyone else i met here wanna come back.3 people apart from us booked safari with Safari adventures. This is a good place to join safari group or even going on a private safari. My recommendation goes to this place with no doubt.

I would love to visit 1000 more times so beautiful , clean , the food and everything Kelvin the host has a very nice car.Audi Classic with open roof. You can hire it from him for the self drive and drive with him through the city.He is a very knowledgeable guide. He guided us through the city with his car and that was the best way to explore the city.High recommend this place
4.1
The bed was really nice and very comfortable. The location was perfect for us. We were able to walk in the city and back and also some waterfalls are very close. Once we said we are thinking about renting bicycle, Kelvin took care of organising some right away. He was really nice.
Cleanliness in the common areas could have been better, like in the kitchen or in the corridor. (For the price it was okay though, as the rooms were really clean).
If someone is not okay with dogs this is not the place as two little dogs were around.
4.1
Very nice accommodation for a fair price. The owner Kevin is a great guy too.

Everything was really super.Kelvin is an amazing host, very charismatic, intelligent with great sense of Humor,he got good jokes that will make you laugh.Felt myself like at home... even better as I enjoyed the deep greenery around, the company of very lovely people.Met wonderful backpackers here.Would advice this place to everybody who liked nature and natural things. We immediately felt like home.Kelvin is the nicest host I ever come across in my entire trip.Very Clean house with fabulous interior design, yummy lunch. The dogs (Nala and Simba) are the sweetest boys!! We booked this only for our stay between Safari and Sansibar but were truly sad we couldn't have stayed longer. Best price/perfomance ratio!

Exceptional hostel close the heart of Arusha town.Very clean, well secured and friendly staff.Kelvin is the greatest host, very charming and open minded. We felt at home from the point we got into Safari adventures gate.Kelvin is arguably the most intelligent man i ever met with 100% knowledge about wildlife and safari organization.
My husband and I have really been impressed by Kelvin’s knowledge and mastery of language he command to words choice and everything.
Talking about professionalism.I am the guide in Kruger National park.Honestly I was testing Kelvin by trying to ask him bout safari and wildlife and I noticed he knows a lot more than myself and my colleagues. He speaks English perfectly with an American accent.I thought he was a Native American.I met no African that speaks English that much.
I highly recommend this place and surely I recommend Kelvin to anyone who wanna go on safari.
4.1
Very comfortable and pleasant place, you feel at home as soon as you arrive,Kelvin is the greatest host and he got a nice vibe .We had a wonderful night at Safari adventures house after a week of Safari and before flying back the next day.We were also transported from the airport by Safari Adventures driver guide who was waiting for us despite the delay of the flight.
