We would like to assure you our families have been renting 5 star review homes on the Cape for over 15 years and we fully understand what is required for an awesome Cape experience. Home Description:
Bayberry Trails is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home with all new kitchen appliances, mattresses, and furniture in 2022. The home is close to both bayside and oceanside beaches and a 2 min walk to the Cape Cod Rail Trail!
Designed for your relaxation and entertainment, the open concept living & dining area includes two full-size leather couches, and a 55” smart TV - all centered around a fireplace for those cooler months. During the warmer months the home is cooled with central AC and you will have access to the two car garage for easy storage of beach gear and bikes.
Prepare your Cape Cod dinners using the large kitchen island and new appliances. Fully equipped with plenty of cabinet space and an open pantry, the kitchen is ready for you! Before you sit down to eat at the six-seat dining room table, enjoy a beverage from the great buffet-cocktail setup.
Through the slider in the dining area, enter the fully screened sunroom. Off of the sunroom are two decks - one with a cafe table and a grill, and the other leads to the outdoor shower built in 2022. Step off the deck into the flat backyard to find a seating area and fire pit as well as picnic table for summer dining.
The home has three bedrooms.The first offers a twin over full bunk bed and colorful nautical decor . The second - a king bed and a great desk area for working from home. Across the hall from this bedroom is a full bath with tub/shower.
The final bedroom is the master suite with a king bed and adjoining full bath (stand up shower) as well as a laundry area.

We just returned from a week long vacation at Bayberry Trails and it was fantastic! The house is conveniently located to everything- bike trails, beaches, restaurants, mini golf, theater and more. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and has everything you need for a stay. Mel and Rich are wonderful hosts. So easy to communicate with, very responsive and great with recommendations! We have stayed at other houses at the Cape over the years and this is one we will surely come back to!

We had a wonderful week on the Cape staying in this lovely and comfortable home. The location was great- close to beaches and the Orleans restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our mornings in the sun room and really enjoyed coming back to the air conditioned house after a day at the bench! The kitchen was stocked with all supplies needed to make meals and the beds were comfortable too! Thanks for a great week!

The place was exactly as described in the listing. It was immaculate when we arrived. Very up to date and nicely decorated. The owners are so kind and very responsive! We had a great trip! I would recommend to anyone who likes to stay in Eastham, just need to know the area so you can find the way to get out on Rte 6 to take a left with the light!

The house is very clean and has comfortable beds. The interior was redone not so long ago and it looks great! Very close to Orleans and to the beaches!

The house is super nice and a great fit for our family of four. We loved the location as it's on a quiet street and away from some of the busier areas of the Cape but still really close to good beaches, playgrounds, restaurants, grocery store, shops, etc.
Mel was super easy to communicate with and accommodating to us. Would definitely recommend this house and could see ourselves staying here again in the future!

Everything from start to finish was perfect! The house itself was pristine and included everything anyone could want. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials and a joy to work in. The living room and each of the three bedrooms had very large wall-mounted flat screen TVs! The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and very comfortable and had all the essentials, including extra towels and blankets. Our favorite room was the sunroom. It was comfortable and quiet, overlooking the private backyard.
Communication with our hosts, Mel & Rich was exceptional! We had a couple of minor questions and they always responded quickly and with such a great attitude. We never felt like we were bothering them.
The location of the house was in a nice, quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants, beaches and stores. We went to the Truro Vineyards and took an amazing tour with Art’s Dune Tours in P-town. We can personally recommend The Lost Dog (lunch), the Pearl (dinner) and the Rail (breakfast). Mel & Rich also left a great list of additional restaurants and attractions.
We couldn’t have asked for better hosts, a better house or a better stretch of weather! We’re already thinking of a late Spring return trip!

House exactly as advertised. Extremely clean, plenty of space for my family of five. Excellent location too, we were one hour from the MV ferry and 20 minutes from Ptown! Mel is an excellent communicator which is super helpful while traveling. Please treat this place with respect and care- there are very few Cape rentals like this! I noticed some comments about hot water, first off it’s the Cape, quirks like this are expected. We staggered our showers and we’re perfectly fine, plus we utilized the outdoor shower which always had hot water!

We vacation every summer in Eastham for a week. This home is lovely and the hosts, Mel and Rich, were very attentive from the welcome basket to the sheets and towels provided —it was perfect! We especially liked hanging out in the screened porch ‘living room’. Comfortable beds, great outdoor shower—A great spot for the family!

This was a perfect house for our family vacation … clean, spacious, modern and well-furnished. The location is ideal for mid-Cape beaches, restaurants and shopping, and the owners communicated before and during our trip to make sure there were no issues. We would return without hesitation!

This is a very comfortable and well appointed home. Eastham location provides a great starting off point for so many things. Orleans shopping was convenient, we liked Shaw’s, but Friends and Stop & Shop were also good options.

A beautiful rental in a lovely, quiet neighborhood with easy access to anywhere on the Cape within 45 minutes. Rental was exactly as shown. Very clean and very well supplied. Beds were very comfortable. The owners were great to deal with. One small issue was that after 2 of us showered in the morning there was very little hot water left for the other 2 of us. In spite of this, I would rent again!

We had a great stay in a house that is a Home with thoughtful touches. It is very comfortable and inviting. The owner Mel was very responsive and check in was super easy.
The house was spotless!! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. The location is a wonderful quiet Cape Cod neighborhood.

What an incredible property with the sweetest hosts! We arrived to a beautiful, spotless home equipped with everything we would need for our short vacay on the Cape!
We were met with the most thoughtful gift basket and note and the hosts were in touch throughout our stay! We had everything that we needed and the beds were SO COMFORTABLE!
The house is in a great location with wonderful proximity to beaches, dining, shopping, etc...
We were able to visit Hyannis (twice!), Chatham, and Provincetown...all on one tank of gas!

We just spent a month at Mel and Rich's wonderful home on Cape Cod. The home is close to ocean and bayside beaches ,very close to Orleans for shopping and only 35 minutes to Provincetown. The home is very nicely furnished and the kitchen is well equipped, perfect for dining in which we did many times. There is even a wonderful 3 seasons room.
Mel and Rich are great hosts. Checking in was very simple. We highly recommend this home

We visited the Cape to celebrate my mom's birthday and this beautiful home was really icing on the cake. With many high-end pluses like new beds & provided linens, a fully stocked kitchen with new appliances, flat-screen TVs, a comfy, sun-filled sunroof & more; it was everything we could have wanted. A great location with privacy and easy access to many attractions including the rail trail, also added to the property. Mel was very responsive and even checked in midway through our stay to make sure all was well. We certainly hope to visit again in the future.

My husband myself and another couple stayed for 5 nights. The home has such charm, very clean and well stocked. We loved the sunroom and how easy it was to access the bike path. Both king beds were very comfortable. We would love to visit again very soon.

A wonderfully located, newly renovated cape on the Cape with great proximity to the beautiful Coast Guard beach and Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking and walking. Super comfy mattresses, Flat Screen TV in all bedrooms and living room, well equipped kitchen and fantastic outdoor shower - all new in 2022. And linens included! What more could you ask for? The hosts are wonderful. We had a fabulous 11 nights here. Coming back next year!

We were very pleased with the rental- the owners have thought of every little detail! Perfect size for our family of 4! As first time Cape Cod visitors, we were so pleased with the central location as well- we were able to do all the exploring and didn’t feel like we had to drive too far in any direction. Especially loved being able to walk/run on the trail that is just .2 miles from the home! Thank you also for all of your wonderful suggestions for restaurants- we tried many of them and it was so nice to have recommendations! Thanks for sharing your adorable home with us!

Great Location!
We couldn’t have asked for a better location. The house comfortably accommodated our family of four. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Plenty of storage for our bikes in the garage. Had all the amenities of home and conveniently located next to the bike path. The homeowners were helpful and responsive. We loved our stay.

We had a great stay. Place is beautiful, private, quiet with easy access to everything. Completely renovated kitchen open to dining and living space which made the stay super comfy. Well appointed and beautifully decorated. Great amenities and appliances to cook anything you want in your home away from home. Enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon happy hour in the vibrate sunroom with bright sunlight!! The Cape Cod bike trail is an easy walk and quick easy ride to the bay beach, National Seashore, Orlean’s Nauset Beach. Easy drive to Provincetown, Wellfleet drive in, Truro vineyard and everything in between you’ll find on Route 6. Great place, great location!!

What a gem!
Our family LOVED our stay at Bayberry Trails!
The owner Mel was very communicative and answered all my questions prior to our arrival. The pictures and description were completely accurate (actually the house looks better than the pics.) Everything was spotlessly clean, including inside the closets and drawers, completely updated and so nicely decorated. One huge plus over other places we stayed were the beds and the bedding-SO cozy with high quality linens and mattresses. We also loved cooking in the kitchen which looks brand new. Mel has provided everything we needed to cook up some tasty meals.
A highlight was spending our mornings in the large screen room just relaxing with coffee and smelling the salt air. The neighborhood is quiet and there is no traffic on the little lane-very safe for kids. We also loved how close the house is to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. We biked with our 2 grandkids over to Rock Harbor and fell in love with the quintessential Cape Cod fishing harbor and then watched a magnificent sunset. We also found a private beach but we aren’t sharing its location :-). We plan to return every year-my grandchildren are already calling it “Nana’s Cape House”.
I highly recommend this home! Thank you Mel and Rich for making our vacation so memorable.

Gorgeous house -- great location!
This is lovely house which checked all the boxes -- had everything we could want and was centrally located -- we loved being close to the great restaurants in Orleans. Even though it was a bit chilly, we did bike ride to the beach which was awesome.
