Awesome. Had great time. Nice hike and great food. Our liitle house was great.

The marmot cabin was adorable and in a great location with a view - it is in a neighborhood with a lot of dogs barking. It wasn't ideal for our baby to sleep due to lack of AC and darkness, but would be perfect for just my husband and I!

This was the perfect place for us for a few days in Palmer Lake. We were very comfortable here and the host was very accomodating. Highly recommend.

Nice clean place and quiet stay. Really no issues. Had streaming TV but would of liked to have had real TV but I am old. Probably perfect for a younger person. Managed to get streaming.

Great little place! Comfortable! The bed and bedding are awesome, thank you so much. No bugs, flies, spiders, yay. We were there on a relatively cool weekend, but still appreciated the fans which are quiet and very pleasant. The patio is a great place for breakfast and relaxing. Patio is covered and there is a bit of grass, as well as beautiful flowers to enjoy. There is a very minimally traveled road in front of house and patio, but the house is higher up than the road and feels like it is farther away than it is. The neighbors dogs are a bit noisy at times. I know that this is being addressed, and it did not deter us from enjoying our stay. We most definitely would like to stay again.

Cute, comfortable cabin. The location was very close to restaurants, groceries, trail heads and a small lake as described. We had our dog with us who really enjoyed his first long road trip. The cabin was well suited for the three of us. I would return.

Enjoyed our space in Palmer for access down into Colorado Springs area. House was in great shape and even when hot outside, was cool and comfortable. Bed was great and enjoyed wildlife in the yard almost every day.

Lovely place to stay and escape the crowds. This property was very close to the trailhead for hikes into the mountains or a short stroll to the lake and businesses near it.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The property was beautiful, well stocked and the owners were very responsive and accommodating! We will definitely recommend to friends/family and hope to get back ourselves to this hidden gem!

I ended up not staying. Thought it was a lake house experience.

My wife and I really loved staying at this place! It’s a great location and the perfect size for two people to be at for some time. The property was clean and stocked with most things that you would need, and we really loved how custom everything was (warm floors too).
The smoke alarm went out of battery during our stay but the proprietor promptly gave us a replacement for it the following day. There were several spiders that made their way into the house during our stay, but this is usually hard to avoid in rural areas like Palmer Lake. Overall we would definitely stay again!

Perfect little place in Palmer Lake, nestled in the neighborhood above main part of town. Exactly as described.

It was a very nice place to stay, conveniently located away from the hum of the city, but still close enough to enjoy. Some darker shades in the bedroom would be nice for sleeping in, and a thicker curtain by the slider door for more privacy is needed. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for a weekend get away! You get the best of both worlds views, quiet time, and still close enough for all your city adventures.

Very nice and clean small cottage in Palmer Lake. Easy walk to the neat places in town and close enough to CO Springs for anything else needed. The kitchen was nice and all the basic cookware was supplied. Very cozy and relaxing set up.

Wanted to thank you for creating such a groovy little place. As a remodeling contractor I find myself scrutinizing of construction techniques. All the details on your tiny house are wonderful. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a modern mountain respite. Well done!

The house was very nice and clean. It was nicely decorated. I was not aware there was no air conditioning and we had trouble with the tv. The stairs were also a bit difficult for me to maneuver. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come again in cooler weather.

Loved that everything was included, all we had to bring was food. Glad I brought my own shampoo, wasn’t very much there for two people staying 3 days. Did expect it to be a little more secluded, but that could have been my fault not reading something right when booking. Loved that I could bring my little dog. Spent most of our time out and about so it was nice to be within walking distance of everything. Our host was very friendly and accommodating we ate very grateful to have worked with her.

Not many mornings when we didn’t see any deer roaming through the yard. Very cozy and clean home for my wife and I. We’d stay again if we are in the area, Palmer Springs is quiet and far enough away from all the city traffic.

Alyce and David’s property is so quaint and perfect. Bed is comfy, kitchen is stocked, finishes are nice quality. Perfect little half acre lot for our dogs to roam. 5 min walk to handful of restaurants and bars. 8 min walk to Palmer lake. We were even lucky to see the star lit right behind the property over Memorial Day. Highly recommend staying here, we will be back!

The Marmot in Palmer Lake is the perfect launching pad for either Colorado Springs or Denver! Our weeklong stay was just amazing. Hiking trails basically right outside our door. Great mountain views! Open space hiking trails within a few minutes drive. And two yummy restaurants we found within walking distance. Grocery only minutes away, but we felt like we were so remote. The house is private & just the right size for two people. Comfy bed, radiant heat floors & a gorgeous shower! Laundry on site a big plus. The kitchen is well equipped as well, which allowed us to cook/grill in several nights. Alyce was a very responsive & helpful hostess. We will definitely be returning to The Marmot!

This home is nice for a short stay. Bed was comfortable. I wish there had been more towels. The tv was also completely unplugged so that was confusing to hook back up. There was some confusion with extra charges by the owner after we left but it was resolved. The neighbors dog did bark almost the entire time.

This was a great place to get away! It is just the right size for 1 or 2 people and has everything you need. Pet friendly is a plus. Alyce was a pleasure to work with.

The Marmot was the perfect little place for my new husband and I to spend time away together after our wedding at Pinecrest! Perfect location close to the main drag of Palmer Lake. Quiet, comfortable, and great amenities. Communication with the hosts was great as well! We’ll definitely try to book again when our anniversary comes around!!

The house was perfect place to stay. It was very comfortable and warm. The heated floors were very welcome because I was there during the Artic Blast that hit the U S.

Enjoyed the wildlife and the Star of David lights up at night and didn’t need GPS to find my way back as the star serves that purpose

This property was just as depicted online, and even better. We enjoyed the outdoor sitting and being visited by a small herd of local mule deer evenings and early morning. The proprietors/hosts were onsite, but gave us total privacy. We only wish that the weather could have been a bit less nippy in the evening so that we could have used the hot tub.
