"We had a lovely time on your property. Great place to gather with friends and family. Would highly recommend The Park House. We loved sitting outside by the fire. The dining room has a great table that gathered 12 of us beautifully. The home is very clean and has everything to offer. We hope to do a repeat weekend next year. Thank you!"

"Bed and breakfast vibes, an easy walk to downtown, and the river and lake just a short distance away. Bonus: Food at The Southerner, located right behind the house, is perfect for takeout so you can enjoy a fireside meal in the backyard with your friends"

The house was everything we hoped it would be. We had some issues with parking that resulted in an unfortunate situation with the neighboring restaurant. Unsalted did their best to help get things resolved but ultimately had no control. We appreciated their assistance. I would definitely reccomend this property

Loved the outdoor space, bathroom in each room, and the comfort of the indoor space as well. Charming old-school vibe as well.

We held our annual family weekend reunion at the "Park Inn" and it met our needs very well. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a game changer with a large group! The house has tons of character, but it is older so expect creaking stairs and eclectic, hodge-podge decor. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils, but it is a treasure hunt to locate them in the many cabinets. Beds are very comfortable and plenty of linens and toiletry and cleaning needs were supplied. Communication from the host was plentiful, instructions for checking in were clear, and the check out process was painless and not overly complicated.
Our one disappointment was the placement of the outdoor space - there really isn't a "back yard" but rather a patio that is hidden from a fairly busy street by only some bushes. Too, the front of the house and the lovely porch face a gravel parking lot. The pictures in the listing make the home seem secluded but it's not. In the end this didn't cause problems and we still enjoyed the space, but we wish there had been a fence to offer privacy and quiet. Another helpful thing would be for the light switches to be labeled - we never did manage to find the ones that turned off hallway lights!
All in all, a great place for a large group in adorable Saugatuck.

We totally enjoyed ringing in the New Year at The Park House! Location was great! Home was very clean and well stocked! Kitchen needs a colandar thoughđ. Heat is a bit strange. We were either roasting or cool. My suggestion is to leave the upstairs bedroom doors open during the day to allow heat in. We didnât do that on night one and the rooms were chilly. No extra blankets. Night 2 was fine after leaving doors open all day. It is an old house so that would account for the drafty arrears. Plenty of mingling space, and private areas for peace and quiet. We would definitely rent it again!đ

We stay in Saugatuck every summer. This is our second time staying in the off-season. Great location and neat house.

We traveled to the property last week and overall our experience was positive. The kitchen was very well stocked with all supplies needed to cook in the house. The outdoor area was also nice to be able to sit by the fire at night. I would say the house is not super kid friendly, but it is hard to know this by the listing alone. It shares a parking lot with The Southerner, so when the restaurant is open it is crowded around the home with cars parking anywhere they can. Being an older home (original structure built in 1800âs) had some normal leveling issues with flooring due to the old planks. Just made for some walkability issues with small children. The house is also just next to the road, so the outdoor area faces the road which was overall fine, but could be a little noisy at times. The bedrooms upstairs all have AC units, so in summer time it would be warm, especially at front of the house. We did face one issue while there with water leaking down to the first floor from the front bedroom shower. Decided not to use that shower going forward. The management company was prompt in responding, but we did not see anyone come out to look at it while we were there (perhaps they came after we checked out). I would say the pictures make the house look sparkling, but it is an older home, so the age shows once inside/out looking at it. Overall, the company was easy to work with, and we had no lack of communication. While it might not be perfect for small children, the house more than functions for an adult getaway.

The Park House in Saugatuck is a large 8 bedroom 9 bathroom home that used to be an Inn/B&B. The house is very old and has a rustic charm to it but it is very well maintained. We especially loved the outdoor space to hang out as a family--there is nice seating outdoors, a cool fireplace where we had fires many nights, a grill and a small yard. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom which was really nice for our large group. The house shares a parking lot with The Southerner restaurant which gets very busy--several times we came back to the house and it was difficult to find parking in the lot. The location is good, a short walk into town and close to the river. Overall, a great vacation for our family!

This spacious and well furnished home was the perfect place for our family to gather. The easy working kitchen with two refrigerators, long inviting dining table and cozy furnished outdoor space, left our group with several options to gather. Downtown Saugatuck is a short walk to enjoy a coffee, shops or a casual meal. Would do it all again!

The house was very nice. The charm of the house and the multiply bedrooms and baths were convenient. The windows need to be cleaned. The fact that the Southerner is in the parking lot (best food in Saugatuck) was a bonus!
