I was unable to go due to a death in the family but my daughter and her family, as well as good friends went. They were very disappointed with the upkeep and cleanliness of the property. The pictures looked wonderful. There were holes in the walls, black dog hair rolling around. The game room smelled so moldy they could not stay in it and the bean bags were all missing except one. These are just a few things they told us about. These are not picky people either. I am the picky one so it is a good thing I was not there. I would have had alot to say. It was not a cheap place either. The host however, before our scheduled stay, was very kind and understanding when I called to let him know I was unable to go due to my moms passing. I feel he probably has not personally seen the property for awhile. Hopefully he is not paying for upkeep and it not being done.

If you’re looking for a great place to get away and relax, this is the spot and there’s a ton of fun things to do in the area

A Five Star Rating is too Low for this Place. The Houses were Immaculately Clean and the Kitchen had everything you need to cook a Family meal. The Game room was Fantastic. But the Absolute Best Feature is out back. Fire Pit , an Old fashion Hammock, which My Family were always fighting over, and your own private dock right on the water. Michael, the Owner, is Great to deal with. This is My 4th year renting in the Poconos and this is by far the Best Property I've had. We plan on making this our go to Vacation Destination from now on.

My husband, my daughter and son-in-law, my three grandchildren, 13, 9, and 6 spent 3 nights at the Chalet. We had a wonderful time. The layout of the house worked well for us. The location on the lake was special. It was very peaceful. The overall location was great, near Kalahari. The kids enjoyed fishing, swimming at the community lake and pool. The owners were very responsive to all our questions.Great time!

We had a great time! The house is right on a lake, with plenty of outdoor seating and kayaks for the family. The inside was cozy, but had enough room for the 6 of us to spread out and relax. We very much enjoyed this house.

We stayed for my son’s graduation and birthday so we had much to celebrate! The house had everything that we needed, it was comfortable and cozy. The guest house worked out perfectly for my son and his 3 friends. The lake was amazing, the kayaks and the dock were the main attraction. We were able to relax under the stars with the fire pit and hot tub. Truly a magical place. We will definitely return!

Overall it was nice but the house needs some maintenance, needs gutters cleaned , showers drains need cleaning. Minor problems, but would have made this place outstanding. Outside was great time, very quiet and relaxing. Would do it again.

We came to snowboard. Slopes were closed but oh well, we were together. We got to the poconos early and Ashleigh was kind enough to allow us to check in early. Thank you!
The house was welcoming. The location was perfect. The lake view tranquil. We saw lots of geese, ducks and swans.
The house was clean but aged. There were a few things that didnt work. Im sure it was operator error but we couldn't get the dish washer to work. Fortunately, i like to wash dishes. The doors were tricky to open and close including the refigerator. Not a big deal. The fireplace in the guest house wasn't hooked up to its propane source, oh well. The jets in the hot tub didn't work. No big deal, we just soaked. These things on there own were no problem. However, added together became a bit annoying.
If you are expecting pristine living this probably isnt for you. If you can overlook DIY gone bad this place is great.
We are grateful for Ashleigh for allowing us to come together under her roof. The biggest bonus was being able to have our four legged family member along for the ride.

Very cool lake house - the lake is beautiful and the house is nice. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the back yard fire pit. Kitchen is pretty modern and up to date, and the beds were comfy. No complaints. We would stay again

The house is great - it has two separate structures which is really nice for bigger families or grandparents and kids like ours. The lake is beautiful. Sitting in the hot tub looking at the lake was great. It was too cold for swimming still, but in the summer this would be a great house for swimming and boating right in the back yard. They must have changed cleaners since a prior review bc the place was very clean too.

Came with a group of friends for a laid back spring break trip, this was the perfect place! Beautiful views and plenty of ways to enjoy even in cold weather. We loved cozying up by the fire, kayaking, and spending time in the hot tub. Hosts were very communicative and made the process and stay smooth. I certainly recommend!

The accommodations were bright and cozy, with the fireplace on one side of the living room, and the large windows overlooking the lake on the other side. We enjoyed family time together with a big table (perfect for 6 people) where we played games and ate meals together. We enjoyed spreading out into the guesthouse, too, and loved the game room and the firepit. We were just 15 minutes from really great cross-country skiing! An ideal spot for a family getaway!

I recently had the privilege of staying at this Lake House, and it was nothing short of a magical experience. Nestled amidst tall pine trees on the tranquil shores of a crystal-clear lake, the house provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking views of the shimmering waters reflecting the sunset's golden hues. The architectural design of the house, with its ample windows, ensures that no matter where you are inside, nature’s beauty is always within sight.
For those seeking activities, the lake house offers a plethora of options. From kayaking to fishing, or simply taking a leisurely walk around the picturesque surroundings, there's something for everyone.

This property was great for our family of eight. Owners were very responsive and helpful. Bathrooms in main house were smaller than we expected, but worked just fine. Would stay there again.

We had a great time. The house was the perfect size. Being right on the water for fishing was what I wanted most. The closeness to many activities is definitely a great perk.

Great mountain house on a beautiful lake. The guest house attached was perfect for part of the family that had small children

This is a great location. It is well equipped for enjoying the property, including providing kayaks and a hot tub. The association pool was also a big hit, but note that it's $5/day.
The guest house appears to be recently updated and was nice. The house itself is oddly set up and needs some work. The front queen bedroom has the mechanicals in the closet and is loud if there is rain or if anyone uses water overnight. The full bedroom has a musty smell and no screens in the windows. Several times we got stuck either in or outside of the house because the rear door isn't seated properly and sticks in a position where the bolt won't open.
Despite that, we had a good time catching up with friends, and the owner/manager was responsive to a cleaning issue at checkin.

The house was real easy to live in. Older son claimed the upstairs of the guest house. Other son and his girlfriend had an isolated room/ bathroom. My wife and I had a king size and en suite (another bedroom was left unused). Kitchen was generally well equipped (could have a couple large trays/platters, and microwave appropriate cookware (I usually microwave rice and veggies).)
The game room was fun as was the fire pit. The hot tub was perfect despite the very heavy cover. The deck was a nice escape, as was the cold water of the lake. The fleet of kayaks was nice to have - and people had fun touring the pond.
It took some getting used to the constant background highway noise from I-380 and the “NASCAR weekend induced” airport noise, but it never interfered.
The house’s proximity to the mass of the Poconos was great. While we never used the neighborhood amenities (pool, beach, playground) we did see them and appreciated their presence…including the pair of swans by the beach at the gatehouse.
The overall experience was nice: just what we needed. The view outback was “wow” and in itself would be worth a repeat visit.

We had a wonderful time at this property. We had two families with children that stayed in the main house. We had one couple with a small dog that stayed in the guest house. The layout was great to accommodate all guests. The kids, ages 6 - 8 years old, LOVED the game room and fishing off the dock. The property is so peaceful. We also spent most days at the community pool. Overall, we had a great trip! Ashleigh was very responsive and shipped us items not in the house.

This house was just wonderful and our family loved it! We kayaked every day on the lake. The hot tub was wonderful! There was an issue at first, but when brought to the host's attention, it was immediately repaired and we were able to have full use all week. There was an initial question about a discrepancy in the pet fee charged and, again, handled immediately; very honest people. I can't say enough about how accommodating the hosts were in responding to our questions. Unfortunately, the prior renters did damage to the property before we arrived, so there were some things that needed attention. Again, the hosts acted immediately without any hiccups in our stay. The only negative comment I have is that the floors were very dirty, but that is a reflection on the cleaners. We wished the fireplace in the house had not been disconnected as we would have enjoyed a nice fire on the first cool evening. We LOVED our stay and wouldn't hesitate to go back!

We had an awesome stay at the lake house. There were 6 adults and one infant in the group and there was plenty of space, things to do, and beautiful setting. We never left! Property was clean, and just as described. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful lake with a great dock to relax on, fire pit was so nice on the cool nights. Could be cleaner in the house and quite a few spiders, but we were enjoyed the outdoors.

We spent the entire weekend outside enjoying the pond/lake. The kayaks were provided but we spent most of our time sitting on the pier fishing, talking, and enjoying each other’s company. Thank you for the great place.

Amazing water views. Hanging on the dock was great. Hot tub, fireplace, fire pit, kayaks, game room, etc- lots to do. The guest house was perfect to spread out!
Towels and linens included.
Only thing I’d suggest is more outdoor chairs. For decks, fire pit area and to sit on the dock.
Great communication with owners, and easy to get in and out.
Family already asking when we’ll be coming back!

We had such a wonderful time at Michael and Ashleigh’s home. It is a great rental for a large group of friends or two to three families. The game room, hot tub and guest house were amazing. We certainly would love to stay here again. Oh and location couldn’t be more perfect we were so close to all the major attractions and restaurants

Had a short stay with family to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. All amenities were great and there was a separate space for those without kids to get quiet time. Overall pleasant experience with property managers, and I would stay again.

No complaints - it was a great trip and a great house to stay at for a Poconos getaway
