We rented the Berghaus for the second year in a row and it's just perfect for our work team of 25. We love the location - close to recreation, great views, close to city, but feels remote. The layout of the property has plenty of parking, great setup for sleeping with the dormitory wing, and ample space for gathering, eating, and evening fun in the main lodge. We plan to make it an annual thing and it should be able to grow with our team for years to come. Thanks Berghaus folks!

The Berghaus lodge was an outstanding facility and location for our 3-day XC team camp. It easily accommodated all 40 of us.

This was one of the best family reunions we’ve ever had because we could visit with each much more easily than if we were in separate places.
Having the lodge where we gathered separate from the dorms was wonderful.
The noise from I-90 was pretty loud outside but not inside.
The last part of the road is a pretty rough gravel driveway.
The refrigerator was great but it would have been nice to have a freezer.
It’s a bit tricky for anyone with mobility challenges— no ramps for wheelchairs.
Loved being together so we could visit easily.
Great for reunions
Nice big gathering area
Great little areas to chat
Would like a ping pong table
Good WiFi
Awesome kitchen supply and labels
Couldn’t find a sink stopper
Near great hiking and sightseeing
Comfortable beds
We may come back for our next reunion!

The mountain views from the lodge were stunning, whether the day was sunny or misty and overcast. So many tables and seating! There was a ton of storage space for food, whether that be bins for dry goods or giant industrial refrigerators. The two ovens/stoves were very useful, and multiple coffee machines came in handy with all the morning coffee drinkers. You needn't worry about having enough dishes—the cabinets were fully stocked with plates, bowls, pots, etc. and conveniently labeled. Wish there was a dishwasher but we had plenty of folks willing to chip in. There is no freezer, which would be a nice addition even if not placed in the kitchen but we managed without it. There is a countertop ice machine, but I would recommend two for big groups. Having a built-in sound system that can connect to Bluetooth devices was awesome!
The host was very responsive and the tour she gave us upon arrival was thorough and oh so helpful. There is an on-site caretaker who is responsive to help with gas for the grill, additional wood for the fireplace/firepit, or putting away extra garbage.
Be sure to bring a sweater as the tunnel to the dorms can be chilly even in the summer. All in all, we had a fantastic experience, and our guests were impressed with the very cool lodge and beautiful surroundings. Would highly recommend it!

We stayed as a group of over 30 people, ranging from under 1 year old to 70. It was the perfect property for our family reunion. The kids played upstairs and outside, while the adults enjoyed the main room and deck, then when it was time for kids to go to bed, the adults could stay up in the main lodge without disturbing the sleeping kids. Wifi was strong enough for everything, including a wifi-connected baby monitor between the "dorm" and the main lodge. The road up was a little rough, but plenty of parking and couldn't beat the view!

We had 20+ men at the Berghaus lodge for the weekend and it was incredible. Perfect facility for a laid back getaway.

We had 15 people stay at Berghaus for a company retreat. It was a unique and memorable place - spectacular views and plenty of room for our gatherings. Our hosts were very gracious and quick to respond to any questions we had.

We rented this for a family weekend post-COVID, and ended up having to change original plans and had a mini elopement ceremony on-site. It was very spacious, the manager Andrea and onsite host were very responsive when we had any questions or emergencies. It’s a really unique location and property with great views of the valley and room to spread out. It IS a older mountain lodge and also a working ski co-op in the winter, with shared bathrooms etc, located up a mountain road so this is not the place if you are expecting “luxury” amenities. You will need to make up beds and provide your own linens/towels if you do not want to rent for extra, but overall the kitchen is well stocked with anything you may need, and plenty of games to keep you busy at night. Overall It was a great place to stay for a lovely weekend in the mountains, and we couldn’t be more happy - and hope to return!! Also of note: the cell service and network hotspot at the lodge is spotty, so plan ahead!

We rented the Berghaus for my husbands 40th birthday and had a wonderful time! We had about 30 people including children and adults and it easily accommodated the entire group. The main lodge is charming, the surroundings are beautiful, and the sleeping dormitory is comfortable and great for groups! We would definitely stay again.

My family and I had such a magical time at Berghaus over Labor Day weekend! They were able to accommodate our large group for bedrooms as well as kitchen and fridge space. Plenty of tables for communal eating and game play. The separate house for the bedrooms made it so grownups could stay up late and not disturb anyone sleeping. Ditto for waking up in the morning. Best of all, the view was stunning from every direction. Constant NW splendor everywhere you looked.
