About this house rental

If you love the beach and need a place to stay. Check out our custom-built beach house, it’s named for our sister “happy daizies”. At our house you’ll have plenty of place outside to sit around, tell stories, have a drink, tan, play games and people watch. If you want to spend time grilling, playing outside games, we have a tiki bar downstairs with 8 barstool, an outside shower to clean off before you go inside, a 65” tv, pellet grill, propane grill and an oversized fenced in yard for the kids.. If you want to go spend the day at the beach, we are an 8-minute walk from our house to the beach. Enjoy watching amazing sunsets, cruise ships off the front porch, or just listen to the wind chimes.

At Happy Daizies house all you need to bring is your toothbrush and your food. Everything else you’ll need for your vacation is provided.

This is our second home, so it is well equipped and we hope to host you and hope that it is everything you expect for your next vacation.

Great location and the house is super cute! Aaron was so great at communicating with us and loved that the checkin/out was easy. Only two small things, amenities listed toiletries and grill. There were no shampoo/conditioner/soap in the guest bath for the shower (trust me I know it’s not picky but if you plan on this you don’t bring stuff) and the grill was in the locked garage. Again Aaron was quick to respond to help us get to it. The storm that came through in July might have also affected the tv in the guest room (kept turning itself on so had to unplug and the oven display was crazy. All in all everything worked and it was a comfortable stay. Would recommend and stay again especially if Aaron still owns!

The home was clean with all the amenities that should be expected. The primary bed is not the most comfortable, but I've slept on worse. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone and would stay here again if we return to Bolivar Peninsula

Immaculate house & grounds. Nice neighborhood. Helpful host. Probably the rainiest summer in years, but the cooler weather & nice breeze on the beach was great! The kids had fun even without sunshine!

We appreciated the comfortable furniture and the well-equipped kitchen. The owner was very good at communicating and even called me to make sure we had arrived and that everything was satisfactory. It was a good location for photographers and birders.

House was as described. Cute in the inside and the atmosphere on the outside was fun. Ceiling fan in kids room was broke so we had to fix it to be able to turn it on, and a lot of the dishes were dirty in the cabinet so had to clean them first to be able to use them. There was not any instructions on what to do during check out (other houses I have stayed at asked for bed sheets to be taken off and placed in washer, etc.) so we just piled dirty towels on bathroom floor and placed dishes in dish washer. Powder creamer was expired but that can happen anywhere. I think price was high for how far away it was from water (can't see ocean), like 1-2 minute drive to get to beach, but it was a nice place. Host was very responsive for any concerns.

Everything was amazing staying at this beautiful home. I have stayed down in Crystal Beach for over 12 years at multiple different places. This was by far my Top 3 places I have ever stayed. #1 for the amount of money it cost. The BEDS were actually comfy. If you have ever stayed down here you will know that almost every bed is kind of stiff and hard to sleep on. All the beds in this house are really nice and super comfy, makes it really easy to fall asleep and stay asleep. 10/10. I would stay here everytime if its available.

This is the best property we have stayed in, very nice, compare the rest of the neighborhood, and yes you are staying in the best one. Clean, great location, nice upgrades, very adequate for most anyone. Only negative kitchen table only had bar stools, prefer regular table and chairs, the older I get the less I like to sit in Bar stools. But overall very nice place to stay, would rent this one again. Don't plan to go to Gaveston unless you want a delay at the Ferry, The big store has all you need for your stay, unless you just got to go for more retail therapy, the beach and all you need is right here, plenty of nice restaurants and some shopping in town.

Property was very nice and very clean. Nicely decorated and very comfy. There were some issues though. There were less than 1/4 of a roll left on each roll of toilet paper in each bathroom with no refills. There were no linens in the house. A fake fireplace in the living room with no instructions on how to turn on or off. Four remotes for the TV, while trying to figure out the TV, the fireplace came on but could not figure out how to turn it back off. A pamphlet was left in the house with minor instructions and a phone number to contact with any issues. After contacting them about the toilet paper, the reply was we booked through the homeowner and the VRBO staff (which I clearly booked through) couldn't help. So, we ended up buying toilet paper and left the extra for the next renter. We did find a blanket to sleep under in lieu of the missing sheets. No instructions on what to do with the towels we used so we left them in the bathroom as you would at a hotel. The key we had opened the garage which had a golf cart, BBQ grill and beach chairs. Didn't know if we could use anything because it was never mentioned. I did use two of the chairs to take to the beach, cleaned them up and put them back. Would have been nice to know if the golf cart was available or not to use. One last thing was the internet, it was always buffering just to watch TV. If you wanted to watch Netflix or any streaming app, you had to use your own plan. Overall it was a nice weekend, I just wouldn't stay here again at this house because of lack of the small things. I will come back to Crystal beach but do more research and find out what is included and excluded.

We had a wonderful beach getaway! This beach house was perfect for us. It was in a great location and just a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed all of the outdoor seating options and had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

From the day we booked our stay Aaron was very responsive & helpful. We had zero issues with communication. When we arrived the home was so much nicer than we anticipated. The pictures are very nice but the home in person was so much better and typically it’s the complete opposite. The drive down to the beach access is maybe 2-3 minutes from the house so we just got a vehicle pass to go on and off the beach. The water was nice, the weather was beautiful, we had zero complaints. There were issues with the wifi which we were made aware before we arrived, which was no big deal, we didn’t want the kids spending time on their devices anyway, but we weren’t able to watch movies on the tv’s. Still very minor issue. The location of the home and the neighborhood in general was very nice and every home was very well kept. We have literally nothing negative to say about the home or the owners, we had an extremely pleasant stay. Oh and the master shower is awesome!! If you choose to stay here you won’t be disappointed!! We would definitely stay here again!!
