All the facilities you would ever need and Debbie the owner was easy to contact and would facilitate any new needs
Nothing it was great

Deborah’s property was a delight for our family trip. Looking out over the valley to the mountains was an engaging as relaxing view. We were able to cook and enjoy time as a family/Venturing out from this cozy and quite neat to adventure. Deborah is a gracious and communicative host: she responded generously to our questions and requests. The cabin was clean and joys fully decorated. Our 14 year old acted as disc jockey using the turntable while other son prepared dinner
Not applicable-only that we should have stayed longer.

It’s a cosy, comfortable with a great host
There was a pipe burst when we were there so there was no water supply. The host was very helpful and tried their best to make sure our stay was good despite of no water supply. We did have a great time

Qwerky, nice lay out, cute.
Everything you could need, I just didn’t use anything.
Comfortable bed
Nice views if the sky was clear
Thing’s unfortunately out of use.
Lots of reviews to say complimentary bottle of wine etc, however I did not get anything like that.
Wrong pin given to enter keysafe

Great location, lovely, homely but quirky decor. Plenty of room to relax, good facilities made it really easy to self cater when there. Nice cafe/bar on site.

We loved our stay at the Shifty Chicken Shack. Great communication from the owner so we knew exactly what to do and where to go when we arrived!
The owner has put a lot of thought in making it a home away from home, with little personal touches like blankets, fairy lights and board games. The beds were comfy and my children loved the bunk beds.
The view is beautiful!
It is perfectly placed for exploring Snowdonia and less than 30min drive to some beautiful beaches.
My children asked within 5 minutes of leaving when can we next go back so definitely a hit with the family!

The Shifty Chicken Shack is cosy and quirky, the most beautiful view of the mountains even more so early in the mornings when the mist is just lifting off the mountain tops. Loved all
the different little things in the cabin from the old board games to listening to some classical music on the vintage record player.

We all loved the uniqueness of the Shifty Chicken Shack and it has the most beautiful view even in rubbish weather!
A brilliantly cosy retreat in stunning surroundings. Great communication from Deborah which made the whole process very easy. My 7 year old son fell in love with the bunk bed!

Location, calm and quiet place. The cabin itself is quite cosy
The cabin is quite cold in the evenings and mornings, even in the middle of September. While they were some covers to help, we still were cold during most of our stay.
While this place is dog friendly, we got charged £25 because our dog came on the bed one morning for a couple hours.

The location was excellent, the views were beautiful and the playpark kept the children entertained. There were loads of DVDs and record player should the weather turn and you were stuck indoors, however this was not the case. We had lovely weather and was able to explore the area. There were also tennis bats and badminton rackets incase we fancied a game. Really enjoyed the break.
No washing up bowl in the sink and the plug didnt seem to fit so lost water when washing up or when soaking clothes. Could have done with oven trays but we used the casserole dish. The oven itself cooked really quickly and efficiently.

The cabin was very cosy nice and clean, beautiful views of the valley, and brilliant sky views on the clear night, if you like star gazing.

I loved how comfy it felt, and what a view too! absolutely loved my stay! loved that we were able to use the fridge, and cook our own food.
would definitely recommend and would 100% stay again!
The only very slight downside was the no wifi situation, as the TV only had a few channels we wanted to watch a film on Netflix in the evenings…which actually meant we spoke and played games so not entirely a huge downside!

Lovely cabin and good facilities, stunning views
Not a lot in the immediate vicinity in terms of restaurants etc
Really disappointed with acclaim made by the owner over an apparent issue with make up on the bed clothes and carpet, the host put in a damages claim for £45 for professional cleaning- we hadn’t noticed anything ourselves before leaving but either way would have expected this to be part and parcel- I’ve never stayed in a hotel and had an attempted charge for something like this

The view from front terrace was amazing especially sun rise first thing in the morning.
Cabin was cosy and fitted us all in perfectly.
Will definitely be staying again.
