If you are looking for convenience, comfort and family friendly, then be sure to book this house! From great-grandmothers to cousins, we packed this house with family fun and it had everything we needed to do so. We were three doors up from the cries of the loons on Haley Pond, within walking distance from down town's excitement and the lake, but just far enough away to avoid the noise of through traffic. The house was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. You won't regret renting this Rangeley treasure!

This fantastic home is in a great location and is very well stocked. The kitchen was perfect for our large group! Our family enjoyed our stay here so, so much. Easy walk to town and public beach. The staff at M&F were amazing and quick to respond to any of our requests or questions. If we could give them a 10-star rating, we would! Thank you for a great week!

We visited Rangeley for Christmas and 28 High Street is an ideal spot for a winter vacation. The house is very comfortable with a great kitchen (and every single kitchen thing that you can think of), a breakfast table, and a counter - a great spot for cooking and conversation. There is a separate dining room, and a very comfortable living room with just the right combination of soft and supportive seating well suited to both parents and kids. A fireplace/woodstove keeps the living room especially comfortable. Lots of bedrooms, comfortable beds, fresh quilts and comforters. The house is nicely furnished, but nothing too precious and fragile. And spotless, really, really, spotless. Aside from this being a great house, there are the people at Morton Furbish - we arrived as huge, windy storm hit Rangeley, trees down everywhere, power out, icy roads - total chaos - all this on the Friday before Christmas week. Anytime we called the office everyone was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. With the power out and temperatures dropping we couldn't get the fire started - next thing we knew Morton Furbish was there with extra kindling, and they started the fire for us. Flashlight batteries dead - Morton Furbish arrives with fresh ones. On Christmas Eve the hot water was off after blackout, and Morton Furbish is back to restart the water heater, just as cheerful and helpful as ever. We'll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This home is spacious and comfortable. It is very well equipped, and everything was clean, and in good working order. We had minimal contact with the property manager, which was all positive. The neighborhood is quiet (except for the Loons!) and peaceful. There is very little traffic on High St (think 20 cars a day). In-town restaurants, stores and the waterfront park are all a short walk away.

Lovely home and well equipped. Great location Wish there had been a separate bin for recycling paper goods, etc.

Great place! Very comfortable and loved the vibe of a well-maintained old house. Also, you cannot beat the location - a perfect, easy walk to everything in downtown Rangely from early morning coffee at Hideaway or Provisions, to a late dinner and beer at one of the in-town restaurants. Best feature - believe it or not - was the very well equipped kitchen. We brought our own KitchenAide mixer, but the place had everything else we needed, including a roller pin for our pizza dough (we grilled it on the grill) to a super blender for cold soups. House comfortable held the seven family members and a dog. We did accidentally lock our selves out (someone locked the screen door, so we couldn't put in the code) and Morton & Furbish had someone there in five minutes, who let us back in! Nice service. Can't go wrong with this place.
