Amazing location. Right on the beach with white sand and clear water đ
Food quality didnât exactly match the prices but the location was worth it!

( + 70ans )

Good points - location right on a beautiful cove which is deserted of tourists, most of the staff were warm and friendly, chilled relax vibe.
The food wasnât great and as there are no other options on the beach this was a bit of a problem. As itâs so far from everything we felt they took advantage of this when renting us a bike at a significantly higher rate than all the other bikes we have rented across the Philippines. A little far from el nido (1 hour) but if youâre not bothered about going out itâs perfect as super quiet.

Nice to stay right at the beach with a bar
There was sand everywhere, no stone/wood path to make it easier to avoid dragging sand in to the rooms.
They didnât have any solution for this problem, but could easily be fixed with a bucket of water outside the rooms to was your feet
4.1
The beach was amazing. The only thing worth it at this place.
Come on! No toilet seat? Muddy floors and showers that donât work? Absolutely disgusting.
Food way to expensive but thereâs not much choice around. Small village with few restaurants so they can get away with it.
4.1
The beach.
the bedding was not changed, the toilet was filthy and unfit for use, full of insects, no words. we left the day before, bitten by insects. normal use of the toilet and shower does not fit into any categories.

Great location and atmosphere. Good food, nice bar. Great laundry. Good showers. Good prices on drinks etc. Great fresh fruit shakes. Friendly locals.
Leaving us standing in the street with suitcases on the other side of the bridge is an absolute no no. We were given the worst rooms even though we booked more than six months earlier. The mattress completely filled the room, leaving our suitcases etc. outside on the balcony.

friendly people specially the owner and his team. fun to be with them. must try all the food cooked by chief lodi (Kinalodz).
He cook food with the heart
the food is instagramable, presentable and very delicious. The location is far from town but the advantage from BH is that the place is quiet and relaxing.
You can rent a motorcycle to get there or ride in tricycle from town to bucana.
nothing.

We LOVED our stay at BH homestay. We stayed for 6 nights and loved it. Harry and all the staff are so lovely and helpful. They organised a boat trip for us with a discount, discounted bike hire and helped book transfers back to Puerto Princesa. Highly recommend staying in the private room or in the dorm room. They are still developing the homestay and will be amazing when itâs finished. Also we ate some of the best food weâve had on our trip at their restaurant. They even do karaoke in the evenings!

It was very good place the staff all friendly and every humble I suggest to everyone ti stay there.
I like the place very quiet and peaceful and relaxing beach â±ïž I missing Bucana beach. The restaurant and the foods are very delicious. I like all foods was there the foods are fresh đ.

The beach is perfect.
staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. the food is incredible, fresh made and affordable. they also rent a scooter. All staff is also very lgbt friendly, which is very nice. This is one of those places that you are sad to leave. Absolutly incredible!!!! They will help you with advices what to see and how to get there. Very close is Duli and Nacpan beach. Itâs 40 minutes drive to the city (El Nido) and with the trycicle the price is around 700-1000php.
The cottage is bit small, there is just a fan in room and the bed is a bit uncomfortable but everything else is perfect so itâs ok.

I have no words for this beautiful place. It is a beachfront paradise with the most friendly staff. The place is back to basics with all the necessary luxuries like a restaurant with great tasting affordable food, free water and coffee, a cute private open-air bathroom but also a communal bathroom, a lovely beach, located in the middle of a local village with local mini 'supermarkets'. The staff treat you like friends and family. We had such a great time here and totally relaxed. You can't miss this place if you visit El Nido!
Nothing was disappointing! Do bear in mind that you are in the middle of nowhere, so the wifi does not work well. Purchase a sim card with an internet bundle before visiting this place.

Great Location, beach very nice, very good food, all well organized, great Service and cheap, perfect
Some roosters too noisy at night

Nothing at all
Worst place Iâve ever been!. Iâm travelling throughout south east Asia for 3 months and never had such a bad experience like this. First of all, the listing I booked was saying âSingle room, shared bathroomâ, to my surprise when I arrived they offered me a disgusting tent, I insisted for a refund, but they refused, in my despair I had to look for another place to spend the night. Let me summarise why you shouldnât come to this place, unless you want your vacations ruined in el Nido:
- Besides misleading me with their advertisement the place is not at all like the pictures, the beach is full of debris and plastic, they donât even bother to clean up.
- The bathroom is disgusting, dirty, toilet has no cover, water all over the place, gross!!
- The place is full of stray dogs, even though I like dogs, itâs a bit unpleasant, they are all over the place and one of them even pee on my tent.
- Food is mediocre and overpriced, unfortunately there arenât many options in the area.
- Worst of all the place is so far from el Nido town, about an hour by car, itâs a remote village, youâll spend a lot of time and money in transportation, not worthy at all.
All and all, worst experience I ever had, shady place and shady host, they donât even want to take responsibility when you confront them and ask for a refund.
Read other negative reviews as well, I was not the first person deceived by this people unfortunately, I hope you donât do the same mistake, avoid this place, look somewhere else, there are a lot of good and affordable options in el Nido.

A really unique place run by an outstanding team. We stayed 3 weeks with our two kids (6 and 9) in the big house (the soon-to-be dorm and private room), and enjoyed the beach, the non-touristy remoteness, the great sunsets, the food (and beer đ), the nice talks with staff and the other guests, getting to know some of the friendly villagers, and hiring scooters to explore the surroundings (Bucana, Duli, El Nido, Sibaltan all reachable under 1h). Harry and the team were super helpful and always there for us!
Of course everything is quite basic. To fully enjoy this place, you should be the type of person who welcomes a cold-only shower as it's so refreshing, and not complain that it's not hot. đ

Nothing
It was nothing at all like the advert pictures on Booking.com. Itâs also advertised as being close to Napcan beach⊠technically it is but as the area the Homestay is located on isnât accessible to vehicles, itâs actually not a quick trip to get there.
There was no shower, no toilet seat, no toilet flush, no wifi, no actual bed!!!, no storage space (we were told to leave our bags outside as the dogs would keep them safe), no creature comfort of any kind. There was a fan in the room with frayed wires hanging out the back of it which looked like a hazard to me.
After deliberating for a while my partner and I decided to leave and found alternative accommodation at a pretty inflated cost - a nightmare all round really.
4.1
Iâm giving 9 points because BH is still work in progress but I believe that when Harry and his team will finish all the projects itâs gonna be 10!! We stayed in bungalow which is really tiny but when you fold the mattress you create corridor to the bathroom. Amenities are not new but this place is dedicated to budget travelers who donât want to spend time inside the room but rather be outside and here you have many options: your bungalow has a small but cozy terrace, there are tables in common area and the beach with a hammock (beach with no tourist and umbrellas). As a worthy of its name homestay they also offer home made, delicious meals that even attract guests from other establishments. At the top of it guys and galls are the nicest, the most helpful and sweet people we have met in Philippines (they made a meal of clams we found on the beach!!!). If you are looking for a fancy stay BH might not be your place but if you want to feel comfortable, relaxed, nicely fed, taken care of and get away from the hustle and bustle of El Nido then you should definitely come to Beachfront Homestay.
We took a jeppney but I would recommend this mode of transport only if you have lots of baggage, itâs rainy season and you donât want to get a scooter- it takes from 1,5 to 2h as itâs the slowest bus Iâve been on. Next time I would rent a scooter, go the road jeepney takes and leave a scooter before Bucana Hanging Bridge. This way you will get there in 40 minutes and you have a bike to go to Duli or Nacpan beaches.

Their staffs are friendly and attentive to the guests' needs. I loved how we could relax here all day long and it's quiet at night perfect for good night sleep - Far from the busy area which we very much prefer.. They also have options for pescatarian diet, and it's delicious. They also arrange everything for us including renting of motorbike
Accessibility... The place is not easily accessible to cars/motorbikes, you have to walk a little bit to the place...
Do not rely on google maps like we did, it's much better to call them beforehand for the direction..

After having stayed in the seaview bungalow the first night, we occupied this big house for the following two nights. The house is very big, many double beds, a big bathroom. Everything is very simple but nicely furnished with a touch of local touch! The bathroom is big and there is little kitchen corner ,( at the moment we were here, there was no possibility of cooking...Maybe, in the future ..who knows? The location is fantastic, right on one of the most beautiful beach of the place. 24 km far from busy El Nido: a real relax holiday. The owner Harry is hyper helpful for everything: renting a motorbike, organising transports, booking any kind of trip you would like to take part. Giving very good suggestions.
The chef is a super chef, Ara makes the whole very charming!! A little paradise !
It is only one year that Harry and his staff run the BH Seaview Homestay. They are putting a lot of passion in what they do. So maintenance is a work in progress but everyday one can see the improvements. So, definitely no negative points!
4.1
We have booked one of the bungalow with seaview for one night and the following days we booked the bigger house. The bungalow is very nice with a touch of rustic sea style. It is tiny as you are supposed to spend the most of your time outside. The bathroom is simple but there is everything you need The owner, Harry is very nice, and his staff superwelcoming. The atmosphere is very beautiful, the location wonderful. The chef prepare very good meals. They have many yummy options for vegetarians! Plenty of help in getting information about renting a motorbike, arranging transport and everything you could need.A little paradise.
It is only one season that Harry and his staff are running the BH Seaview Homestay. Maintenance is in progress and the staff put all the possible passion in making this place better...so in the end the bad points result to be good points.

We were a group of 4 friends, and our stay has been the best during all our travell in Philippines so far.
All the staff is just amazing. Super friendly and welcoming. The location is just perfect.. just one hour away from El Nido town but with so much to do and see around.
Is located in a little fishing village and we had the chance to participate to a super nice local party.
We ve been feeling really part of the community and I can't have enough world to thank them enough for the beautiful experience.
They serve really good food, but we also were able to buy our own and cook on the beach with a BBQ.
If you are going to El Nido don't miss it.
Good luck guys, hope to see you soonâ€ïž

The location in the middle of a village and in front to the beach. The personnel is really nice and helpful.
It's really quiet and the huts are cute
It's far from El Nido town and transportation is quite expensive, except if you rent a motorbike in the town or manage to take one of the 2 daily jeepneys.
The huts are beautiful but quite small and it's better to ask for an extra mattress
4.1
The location was expected to be 45 minutes from the city. I was comfortable the moment I arrived. I booked for 17 days, unfortunately I got sick, and Harry, the owner of the resort brought me to the emergency at El Nido hospital. He and Bob, his one of the staff left everything just to assist me. They transferred me to Puerto Princesa and they came along with me. I was dying, but they stayed at bedside providing everything that I needed and more that the hospital was unwilling to give me. They were like sons to me. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and recovered in the hotel. They even took care of me all the way to the airport until my flight took off to make sure everything was okay. I will never forget them.
Harry is one in a million, he has a golden heart.
Nothing. If I could give them 100 stars I would.
4.1
The host Ada and her team were very kind and hospitable.
The location is not anywhere near El Nido. It is over 45 minutes away from downtown in a very remote location, with almost no amenities, restaurants or nightlife. The beach is full of broken glass, debris and other garbage. There are equally affordable places in El Nido, I cannot recommend staying here.
4.1
Location, view, free coffee in the morning
Had the family room for 2000 PHP/night. Very noisy, guests and staff keep talking and shouting loud until deep in the night always. Bad maintained, toilet flush and shower both not working. No soap in room and on request not available. Electricity plugs all damaged or hanging loose, windows missing glass etc. Room not as in the pictures and not as described on booking.com, much worse.
No TV, no couch, no table, no chairs. Just beds all over, some with very thin mattress, not able to sleep comfortable. 2 just on floor.
There are tents and small rooms for 2 on the property. For small budget ok, this room however is overpriced due to the bad maintenance.
lots of Niknik (sandflies) in the sand, wild bees have nests under the outside table, better be careful, their bites are extremely painful.
Refund for cancelled room takes ages.
4.1
You are literally in front of the beach
Everything was clean, nice smell on the sheets and towels
It is far from the town and that's what i was looking for
Beautiful sunset everyday
I was expecting the delicious cooked meals by the chef i read about as it is part of the experience but there was nothing
It was hard to find where to eat especially on Sunday because the only Cafe is closed

If u need more silence away of the huge tourism the place might be good for you to calm down. Small village in a small bay.
The owner Harry ist very nice and always helpful. Lods makes delicious dishes. And Marry is mother for everything.
3 cute dogs protect the property and if u leave the door open at nighttime they are definitely willing to sleep in your room or even in your bed.
Highly recommended place to understanding real Philippine live better.
4.1
The location was remote, a fishing village by the sea. Beautiful bay, very quiet.
Helpful staff, booked my ferry ticket for me
Did my laundry for a reasonable price
The place is very basic and remote. I still quite liked it, but you need to be aware
The chef was ill, so no food. The stock of drinks was almost completely depleted. So I ate and drank elsewhere. The Internet rarely and barely worked. The hut is tiny, the toilet is primitive.
Again, it was fine for me but keep expectations fairly low
