We had a wonderful time at the Kelto Kabin in Lake Harmony. The house is super spacious. We were there for a family reunion, and we comfortably fit a few generations, each with their own space. The main living space was open enough concept that we always felt like there was together time, but when it came time for it, the adults could have a peaceful dinner while the kids were watching a movie without being too far out of view. The house was fully stocked with lots of cookware. Access to the Big Boulder Lake Club was perfect. We spent the day boating and at the lake/pool, playing yard games. The house itself was within walking distance of tennis courts. It was a super peaceful community where you didn't even know other people were around. I'd definitely stay here again!

The house was well laid out. The appliances are top grade. The furniture was very comfortable. The bunk room for the grandchildren was spacious and safe. The privacy for a lake community was outstanding. We liked everything about the house.

This was a great, clean and beautiful home. It was very clean and provided lots of toiletries and the kitchen had all the necessary essentials. It was very kid friendly. We had 6 adults, 2 teens and 3 toddlers in our group. Hot tub was great!

Everything was as pictured. Great open floor plan. Our group had a blast.

My wife and I took our kids and grandkids in a ski getaway to the Poconos. This house was perfect for our group 10! The layout with bedrooms on 3 separate floors worked well for our family . The grandkids loved the bedroom with 4 bunk beds. The location and amenities at the house are top notch . The kitchen is well equipped and the house was very clean. The hot tub was a great treat after a day of skiing. Anyone who stays at the Kelly kabin will enjoy their stay.

We booked this home to celebrate our kids! John’s work promotion, Tim’s engagement (a celebration long overdue) and Rose’s 18th birthday! Pros: The house was super clean upon arrival. There was an ample supply of towels, sample soaps, shampoos and conditioners in every bathroom waiting for us. The kitchen has an ample supply of silverware, dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and small appliances. The huge island was perfect for serving food. There was plenty of paper products and trash bags provided for our stay. The beds were perfectly made with crisp clean sheets and fluffy pillows. There are 2 gas fireplaces that just added that warm cabin feeling.
We were a party of 11, that included 6 adults , 3 teens and two small children. The place is set up for entertainment and relaxation. 2 floors of seating. We were not cramped at all. Bedrooms on each floor provided additional privacy The hot tub was great and provided much relaxation after opening weekend skiing at nearby Jack Frost. I have to say, (and I read this in the reviews prior to booking) the kitchen fridge locks for about 2 minutes after opening…and you can’t get back in. This provided additional entertainment to us as we watched each other wait to be allowed back in it…..my daughter in law at one point became “the fridge door monitor”. There are a lot of mounted animal heads on the walls….which I noticed on the last day all have mustaches. Simply hysterical!!
The “Ehhs”: There isn’t much lighting on the steps leading from the parking area down to the front door. A couple of the beds had firm mattresses.
Let’s be real, with any weekly rental, nothing is going to be perfect. In the end none of it interfered with the use of the house, amenities or our stay. Is a beautiful rental, worth the $$ and I cannot wait to go back!

This was the second time we stayed at this house. It is a very warm and comfortable home with a great location. The furniture is the house is extremely comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including spices. Our only problem was accessing the lockbox.
4.7
This home was clean and comfortable. Located in a lovely community, we had deer every day right out our windows. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and well appointed. Kitchen had anything you could have wanted. Had a great stay.

The home itself was decent in layout. My son fell through his bed since there was no wood under it. It was a previously reported issue and went unfixed. The dishes were DISGUSTING. You must wash everything before using it. The BBQ needed to be degreased or it would have caught on fire. The foosball take was missing handles and was unusable. The laundry room had garbage/debris piled in it. About 1/3 of the lights in the house didn't work. The house was dark. Water didn't drain from showers. There was literally no entertainment or games, customary in rental vacation homes. Not enough towels for the lake (3) towels for 14 capacity. No kayaks or instructions to get to lake or anything local. They priced this home as a top priced rental... do not waste your money. My stay was from July 30th to August 5th 2023.

We had high hopes for a pleasant stay to celebrate a family members 70th birthday. Unfortunately, from the moment the lockbox didn’t work this home proved to be filled with flaws. It was dirty, without cable tv, internet, electrical wiring that did not work correctly, oven, stove and kitchen dishes were filthy, toilets did not flush properly, thermostats did not work properly. In addition, there was no manual or any guide as to how to circumvent these issues as we tried. Reaching out to property manager only brought us to a third party booking agency (Vacasa) who had no information on file to assist. It was such a disappointing stay as we are familiar with the area and there are many other properties we could have chosen from. We made the best of the weekend—outside of the house, but feel this house needs to be reinspected and reviewed before being offered for rental with how it is described and at this price point. Everyone was happy to return to their own beds after a weekend filled with uncomfortable accusations, 3am unexpected electrical wiring wake-up when lights would go rogue, and vacation time spent trying to trouble shoot tv hook ups, waiting for a defective sub zero fridge door to open every time, cleaning and washing dishes in the kitchen before using and on and on. Size and layout of house was great, otherwise needs attention.

Enjoy your stay,we did. And we’ll be back for more 👍

Was skeptical based on the photographs on what we were getting ourselves into, especially with such a reasonable price...but once we arrived it was exactly as shown in the photos and more. Tremendous amount of space in the upstairs kitchen area, the downstairs bar areas was a great hangout as well. The location is perfect for activities nearby.

We just returned from our stay at Kelto Cabin! Great house and location. Plenty of space for our group which was 6 adults and 6 children/preteens. House has everything. Everyone loved the entertainment areas and hot tub. Would rent again!

Great house. Very comfortable. Plenty of room, great appliances, and cookware. My friends and I had an amazing time over the long weekend. One of the nicest houses I have stayed in, in the Poconos. I hope to stay there again.
While this place was great two issues of minor annoyance anyone staying here should be aware of or made clearer in the rental:
Parking - There are only 4 "free" parking spots at the house. It's a big house and we had more than 4 cars coming. While I tried to get the parking/overflow info from Vacasa, prior to the trip to avoid issue, they were not helpful. Everywhere in the community, it says permit parking only but no permits were in the home or info on how to obtain them. I called Vacasa and they said don't worry about displaying parking permits for our cars, at the home, or for our 2 other cars parked in the overflow lot. That didn't stop security from tracking us down and explaining everyone needed a parking permit. They were understanding and just doing their job. Luckily they were OK with us just displaying notes on our windshields for the rest of our stay. But an easily avoidable issue.
The SubZero Fridge - Great quality fridge and plenty of space but not a fridge designed to be in and out of. It seals very tightly on close and is not easy to open until the pressure equalizes after a minute or 2.

Very cool house and excellent location. We had so much fun and will be back next ski season

We’ve stayed at this house 4 times, and we’ve loved it every time! It’s so convenient to BB, Jack Frost and Camelback. We’ve made so many family memories and will be back again next winter!

Great location - walked to the slopes! So many things to do all less than a half hour from rental in every direction. House was large, clean and well stocked in the kitchen. Provided towels, sheets and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Will definitely be back next year!

1. The home was not cleaned and it is not neat inside and it was very dirty outside.
2. Not enough towels provided for 14 people.
3. No soaps provided at all in the bath rooms.
4. Not enough toilet tissues provided.
5. The rug in the family room is old and dirty.
6. The Mats at entrance door and at hot tub are filthy dirty.
4.7
The house is literally walking distance to Big Boulder!! We had 2 families stay and had plenty of room. Very nice house, clean and great atmosphere. We’ll be back again and again.
